Consistent as always with excellent food and great service! Staff are always cheerful and friendly. Tried the crab mayonnaise and beef bourguignon and was tempted with a desert, crepe banana with chocolate, yum yum
Great food and lovely staff. Waited a while for the bill but apart from that, very nice meal.
lovely meal, waiting staff were great. Nice atmosphere and would recommend and will be back to enjoy again. You won't be disappointed go book and enjoy!
Had a very nice lunch. Great food and brilliant staff.
Lovely food, particularly the salmon and cheese courses, great service and a fab lunch all round. Booth seating was a treat and will request that again. Thank you
excellent food at a fantastic price, and all served by great staff.
Food was hot and delicious. Service was prompt to take order and to clear plates, but it was a hassle to request the bill (twice). No one came to take payment, had to catch a member of staff to try to pay. She then walked straight past me again so I had to chase her for the change, then she wasn't able to give us change to split between us (?) so unfortunately I asked for the service tip to be removed - disappointing :(
Another lovely meal. I would recommend the monthly specials they are tasty and make a nice change. As always the service was excellent. I will be back!
I’ve been here a few times & have always found the Staff cheerful & accommodating, & the menu varied & tasty. The wine selection is always great too! All in all a great choice for Dinner (or breakfast/brunch or lunch) as well
Location - 9 Atmosphere - 8 Wine - 6 (possibly a poor choice on my behalf) Starter - 7 (French Onion Soup) Main - 7 (Mussels & Fries) Desert - 9 (Bread & Butter Pudding) Total - 46/60 Really enjoyed and would definitely go again. One small niggle was a 12.5% service charge, I generally like to tip 10% and felt sort of coerced into paying 12.5. Personally I like it to be an added extra for good service, not an obligation that one would have to embarass themselves to remove.
Food was very good and the Chicken ordered by all three of us was good. Service ,however, on this particular evening was very bad and surprised us as we had been several times before.
Great food as always, but the service was terrible. One of our mains didn't turn up until most of the party had finished eating theirs, one round of drinks during the entire meal, they didn't clear our plates or ask us if we wanted dessert (we had to get up and find someone to get the bill for us after waiting almost 30 mins). Shocking service.
we are regulars at Cote Cirencester - at least onc per month. Today we had our worst experience. The service was terrible - we had to go and find a member of staff three times after waiting for 15 mins each time to try and attract attention. The bill was incorrect (by £20 - in Cotes favour). This is one of the very few times in eating out we have refused to pay the service charge (we dine out a lot). Cote obviously corrected the bill and also removed the cost of our coffees. PS this was 5pm on a Sunday and both our main course selections were unavailable. We will think long and hard about going to Cote again. we ceratinly would not recommend them on this experience and will need to regail their trust if we are ever to recommend them again
We were seated right next to a table with four young children and a loud mother when there were plenty of other free tables in the room that we could have been offered. Diners in restaurants should be spread around the room not packed together in a corner. No-one would choose to be seated between two occupied tables voluntarily when there is other space in the room.
While the food and service were very good, the noise level at lunch time made it impossible to have a conversation and hear what our fellow guests were saying! Cote are not alone with this problem which I believe arises from the current fashion of restaurants removing all soft funishings: Under normal conditions, these would absorb sound. Things improved when the number of diners started o thin out.
Very pleasant venue but quite noisy when busy. Reasonably priced two or three course lunch. Sadly fork dropped on friend's dress as plates cleared by the waitress, who was obviously very busy. However, dealt with well as all of the meal for my friend was free and also an offer made to pay for any dry cleaning. Never seem to be offered outside dining but it was a beautifully sunny day and it would have been nice to be outside. Overall a pleasant visit.
Service was very good and attentive. Food was very good. Good quality glassware and napkins add to a relaxed ambience. Would have preferred very different music, perhaps French cafe accordion or similar. Overall enjoyable and will return.
This was our first visit to Cote Brasserie & we went on a friend's recommendation. We wanted to eat prior to a concert & so visited quite early in the evening. The food & service were excellent. We managed to eat without feeling rushed but were still out in good time to get to our other venue. The brasserie has a good buzz & a wide range of clientele. Would definitely recommend it !
Lovely breakfast, relaxed and not rushed. Service was attentive. There was space to spread out with the Sunday papers and time given to read them all accompanied by a good coffee.
The restaurant, food and service was very good and we really enjoyed our meal. My only very slight criticism would be that I think the bread on the calamari was a bit heavy, but other than that the food was excellent.
We really enjoyed the whole experience. We ate from the a la carte menu and, as always, the food was excellent as was the service.
We had great food and there was a brilliant atmosphere as always. We had a really good evening and will definitely be coming back! Love this place!
Always a great evening good food buzzing atmosphere and very attentive staff we are very lucky to have a restaurant local to us which is consistently good.
Lovely food, good service, great to have a restaurant open all afternoon on a Sunday as we love to have a leisurely meal late in the afternoon. Shame no elderflower cordial/juice.
Lively restaurant, service was efficient and friendly. Menu was as expected as have visited Cote before. Food and wine were both good quality. Great location in centre of Cirencester.
Overall, hard to beat for value especially mid-week for the 2 and 3 Course Special Menu (and Formule Breakfasts). Staff friendly, nearly always busy so good atmosphere...what’s not too like?
Good food and wine varied menu and very attentive staff , was a tad early in the restaurant for us and couldn't understand why we couldn't have booked later as there was plenty of free tables
My girlfriend and I had another great meal. Perfect service as always!
Food and service were excellent. My only problem was that it is SO noisy in there. Can hardly hear my lunch date speak. I guess I should go at off peak times and not peak times. Otherwise very nice.
Great service, atmosphere and food as always. Really recommend the fish stew!
Once again an exceptional lunch and quite exceptional service from the entire Cote Brasserie team in Cirencester. Whether it's business or social Cote delivers to the highest standards and is top of my list in Cirencester.
A lovely birthday treat for my mum. Our waiter even decorated our dessert with "happy birthday " in chocolate. We ate off the lunch time menu, good value and quality. Will visit again
Long wait. Starter was nice but staff were robotic. Problem with the bill and server wasn’t friendly at all. Had to speak to the manager; but left disappointed
We went for a family supper for our son's 6th birthday and they couldn't have done more to make it a happy evening. The candle in his ice cream and everyone singing made his day!
The staff are always friendly and cheerful and efficient and they knew all about the special reward we were getting and were eager to help. Many thanks for contributing to a wonderful evening.
Just celebrated a birthday with friends. Kir Royales to start made it feel fun and we had the two course set menu - a treat but not too extravagant - just right for a special lunch.
Lovely welcome at Cirencester, staff were friendly and helpful. Food as always was incredible and very much needed post night shift.
Excellent food and attentive service, hence the highest rating. I Cannot recommend highly enough. If I was local I would use it all the time.
Excellent food, good ambiance, value for money, good service. Pudding good but not excellent, crepe suzette, needed more orange sauce and ice cream was served inside pancake?
Yes ... spot on. Will go again. Fast efficient, good value ... that's enough end end end end end end end end end end en
Excellent food, service and ambience !! - wholeheartedly recommend visiting here at least once, return would then be pretty much inevitable ! - already booked for Christmas.
Usual good friendly service. Food lovely as usual. Great value for money. Monthly changing menu and low prices mean you can visit often. So glad it is close to where we live.
The restaurant had a good buzz for a Saturday lunch and a very nice ambience.Good food. The staff were at tentative and obliging...a very enjoyable experience!
The Staff are great and speedy, dishes of the day great but a little on the small size should be increased by 15 % Best Regards Mike
Excellent service from staff with a relaxing enjoyable atmosphere. Food was well presented and certainly was at the right temperature and very tasty. Prices were reasonable with a good range of choices.
Fabulous food Excellent service this is my third visit to this chain and every time live up to my expectations. Definitely recommend this chain if you like good food and great service.
Busy restaurant belonging to the Cote Brasserie chain with helpful staff providing excellent food at sensible prices in very pleasant surroundings - one of our favourites in Cirencester.
The food did not disappoint us which we chose from a varied and interesting menu. The meal came promptly. We enjoyed the combination of the golden beetroot and roasted hazelnuts. We both chose sea bass which was delicious.
We had a lovely meal , as usual .The staff are very good ,and always pleasant .The meal was delicious and good value for money ,We had the 3coarse for £12.95 which was excellent .we have been quite a few times and never disappointed .
Excellent restaurant. Good choices and VERY good prices in the early bird menu. Includes veggie choice. Stops at 7pm, so get there in good time. A la carte extensive, wide range of choice, including veggie and fish. Staff were first class. Helpful without being cloying. Also tables well spaced out so you're not fighting for somewhere to put your coat! Beware, if you take up the offers such as free kir or bottle of wine, you MUST choose from the a la carte menu. It was not clear to us, but the staff member sorted out the muddle adequately.
