Côte Cirencester

Lovely ambience, good table, great service and a gluten-free menu for me with lots of choices. Enjoyed the food, very enjoyable evening. We will be back.

Food was good but service was the worst I have experienced in any of the four Cote restaurants (Cirencester, Godalming, Guildford and Newbury) which I have frequented

Always good friendly service together with good food reasonably priced together with good atmosphere what more would you want. Putting all this together that is why we go back time & time again.

On this occasion not very good at all. Service was very slow. My steak was extremely chewy and was mainly left! We say with the dessert menus for about 40 mins. The whole meal took around 2 hours and when you consider our starters were then within 10 mins and we paid and left immediately after dessert I think you may understand our frustration!

Courtyard dining was lovely. Good food, attractive and good flavour. Would recommend the cod dish. Wine was the right temperature. Creme brulee was a little sloppy but good flavour. Great service from Dan our waiter.

Very enjoyable family experience from entry to departure-excellent personable service from Dominica (yet again) Good ambience and comfortable considering the temperature-quality food and a great night out!

The staff are very helpful, friendly and combined with the delicious food and wine, the visit to Cote is a very relaxing and pleasant time.

Excellent value, interesting menu , and a great atmosphere. I enjoy it particularly during the day. When the restaurant is busy it can be very noisy at night.

As slways, great food at a really sensible price, and the staff are without exception, well trained, cheery and pleasant. One of my favourite eateries!

As always, staff were cheerful and helpful, food was good and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Why can't I just leave it at that? You are as bad as the one rather noisy table just over my right shoulder!

Our meal, and the service we received Saturday evening were, as always, wonderful. It was a very hot evening, and the restaurant was full, the staff were very attentive, and always had a smile, despite the fact they must have been wilting! We had booked to take advantage of the June offer of a bottle of Rose wine. As soon as we were seated, there was an apology as they had run out of the offer wine, no matter, an alternative was offered, which was delicious. It was our last day of work for 2 weeks, and a lovely way to start our holiday.

Very slow service and very tough and stringy steak. Duck was okay; bread was delicious. Location is excellent in city center of Cirencenter. Would not return.

A very good experience with a nice personal touch for my daughter who was celebrating her 18th birthday. The booking was easy, the service was friendly.

Excellent as usual lots of new staff but our waiter was very good although it was busy. Food was good there was a new manager seemed very nice.

We were very pleased with our meal. Disappointed by the table next to us who had a small complaint, happy to take free wine, free desert and free main a few then didn't leave a tip! They seemed to be regulars!

Excellent service at Cote Cirencester and great value superbly cooked food. A pleasure from the moment we stepped into the restaurant Hope to return very soon.

The food is good, the waitress service excellent, all very attentive. Overall a very pleasant experience. So far we have eaten there a handful of times and it is always one of the best choices of places to eat in Cirencester. Would definitely recommend

Have been going to Cote for several years, first in Surrey and now in Cirencester, and have always had an excellent meal and really good service. I usually take advantage of the daytime set menu, which is incredible value for money and has a wide variety of dishes to choose from - always including their Dark Chocolate Pot, which is to die for.

One of the positive aspects of Cote Cirencester is the consistent level of pleasant service, and good food provided whenever we have a meal at this location

This was the third time I've eaten at a Cote. Good lunch and good service but 12.5% is a bit steep for a service charge. We sat in the courtyard, inside can be a bit noisy due to hard surfaces reflecting sound. Not much you can do about that - you don't want carpets and flocking wallpaper !!

Menu interesting, food good quality, service excellent, our reservation handled efficiently. We would u definitely use this restaurant again. A very good experience, would recommend

A very nice evening to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Food was great and the service was very good. Overall we were very happy and would come back.

On a very hot day the restaurant was cool and comfortable with the full-length windows wide open. We ate lunch from the £11.50 set menu. The poached egg topping my asparagus was perfectly poached and my main course camembert luscious gooey. We lunch here once a month and Cote has never failed to welcome us warmly and serve good food with a smile.

The food was lovely - but the service was very slow. We were there from 12.00 and only served our main course at 1.30 - we all had 2pm meetings so had to bolt back most of our meals. Too long a gap between starters and the main course and not a hope for coffees or any puds!

Made my mum’s surprise birthday dinner extra special by coping with all her many food allergies/intolerances and brought out a surprise dessert on the house even though we didn’t order any with happy birthday written in chocolate! Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you so much!

Our latest meal at Cote, Cirencester, was superb and served by friendly helpful staff in pleasant surroundings as usual. It all helped to make our Wedding Anniversary very special. Thank you.

The restaurant was half empty and the waiting staff, unusually, seemed quite slow providing service. We had to look around to try and get their attention. Also, the two chicken dishes arrived with two (!!) French beans. Seemed a but mean.

A quick lunch before going to the theatre. We ate from the set menu which is very good value. We had the asparagus and the cherry tomato salad to start. We then both had the Camembert and a portion of fries. It was all very tasty.

We started with Kir Royales as the lunch was to celebrate a birthday, and shared a fougasse. We all had sea bass which was delicious and had a side of green beans. To finish we shared a creme brulee.

This is the first time I have had such a poor experiance at a Cote restraunt. Table reserved for 19.45 so quite a busy time but not full, seated at our table and then left for 20 minuites before asking if we would like a drink. My wifes meal was good (she had duck) my steak was tasteless and anemic definatly not med rare. I was pretty dissapointed as were the couple next to us with this Cote definatly not up to the usual standards.

Popped in to Cote mid afternoon on Sunday. Ideal time as hot day but Côte was cool, quiet and so nice. Miss Graham, the guy who came as Manager when first opened here in Cirenceste. Côte still the best restaurant in town for me and always the same standard. It was my birthday ..and we were offered two glasses of beautifully iced elegant glasses of kir royale - delicious - no hesitation ever in returning!

An enjoyable early evening meal on a Saturday evening before the rush; good food served with courtesy and without any hassle - thanks for all of that!

Great food and atmosphere. Service was fine. Prices fair. Wine good and reasonably priced. Took friends who were very impressed. Would return. Garden area really lovely.

Absolutely consistent. The food staff and ambience ensure a good night out. Value for money excellent . Already looking forward to my next visit. Go !
