Côte Cirencester

Lovely ambiance and food good. I had French onion soup - it would have been nice to have had french bread served with it (as a matter of course, as in France), and to have had side orders suggested Eg fries with the salmon.

The staff were professional and very polite and very helpful... the food was also excellent.. and really good value for money..I would recommend the experience to all.

As always, good food although the dish I wanted was sold out. Service is sometimes a little slow, but is usually good and the orders accurate

Another enjoyable evening spent with friends at Cote - only slight problem was the risotto which unusually was rather ‘stodgy’. No other complaints from our table

Had a great lunch at Cote yesterday and the food was perfectly cooked and hot. Excellent service from the staff. Would certainly recommend. Only one negative comment - we were at a table by the bi-fold doors and it was very chilly!

Very good atmosphere, delicious food and very gòod service. All In all a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Would strongly recommend it for any celebration or indeed for any non celebratory meal.

I was interested to see the introduction of an alternative menu on the table d’hote. Good choice and selection. Downside- as the restaurant filled up it became quite noisy.

Another very pleasant experience at Cote Brasserie in Cirencester. Everyone we take there is impressed with the quality of the food, atmosphere and the pleasant staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

The food is great but service is either so slow or too fast - never ever just right. Staff are very pleasant but always seem to keep you waiting whether it is to order your drinks on arrival or food...

We visit about every three months and it’s always enjoyable. Great food, with charming service. I had the chicken liver pate, beef bourguignon with carrots, and creme caramel. Faultless. Couldn’t eat it all ...despite trying. As I was driving I didn’t drink, but my pals enjoyed a bottle of merlot.

Lively, noisy and very French. Many families, couples, shoppers and friends celebrating. Staff and menu excellent. Always love the food - whenever we visit Cirencester we make a beeline here for lunch.

Good atmosphere and good food. Staff attentive and polite. Look forward to next visit at the end of the month when meeting friends for birthday celebrations.

Lunchtime visit. Food portions were tiny, dry and tasteless. Service not as good as it usually is. Maybe it’s just the time of year ?!!

Cote is so good, service is excellent and food is always amazing, I eat here all the time and Berber has anything to complain about, it’s so good that you’d be a fool to just turn up without booking first

New Years Eve was very busy , the food as usual very good , service was slower than usual we did have to wait quite a time between courses.

It was New Years day & the staff had worked the previous evening, everyone was very cheerful, helpful & also had the task of informing customers what was unavailable on the menus due to lack of deliveries. For the most part the diners seemed to be cheery as well! A delightful lunch. Thank you Cote Brasserie Cirencester.

Service and food brilliant as normal. We had the salmon and the chicken no problems with either of the meals. We both hope to eat there again very soon

Another amazing experience as always, and over Christmas too it was full! And still food was great, service was great couldn’t fault a thing at all, it always amazes me how they never run out of anything, ever!

A great meal for two. The food was, on the whole, excellent. Steaks and belly port were fabulous marginally let down by some overdone green beans, but it was super busy being 8pm on a Friday in Christmas. That was reflected in the noise which made for great atmosphere although often hard to hear each other. Despite the number of diners the service was spot on, timely without being rushed. Reasonable value for money at £90 for two with four glasses of wine. I'm a harsh critic though. We'll definitely go back.

Good selection of special seasonal menus along with the standard great value menus. The three course meal we ordered gave generous portions of a high quality promptly served and beautifully cooked.

Lovely venue and efficient staff. Just noisy , I think because of the acoustics and because the dining room is long and narrow. Always consistent in quality of food and very good value.

Thoroughly enjoyed our latest visit to Cote Brasserie for breakfast on Boxing Day. Everything was up to a very high standard, as usual. Staff very pleasant and polite despite them having to work over the Christmas period. Soon be back!

Terrible service!!! Had to ask to be served for the drinks, food, bill and then you oay the bill! Shocking and ruined our experience there.

Cote in Cirencester is the only restaurant in this chain which I have eaten in to date. I have used this restaurant on about four occasions and have never been disappointed.

Good lunch, great service, lovely staff. Sadly, billing is beginning to undermine the experience. Disappointing that they have overcharged the last 3 times and we noticed that this also happened to the table next to ours on the last occasion.

This was the perfect choice for a pre-Christmas lunch with my partner. Despite the frantic nature of the timing, Cote was a relaxed, welcoming and discretely well organised venue - an oasis of calm and enjoyment. Our food was excellently prepared and served, and the friendly and attentive delivery an example to us all. There was also no attempt to move us out of the door at a set time. Well done!

Service was very attentive food good no Prosecco though and it’s advertised as an aperitif. Offered English sparking wine very nice and expensive. Very nice house red. Good place for ladies night out

Poor service, we booked ahead of our visit and we felt like an Inconvienience to the staff. Only offered a table by the draughty front door!

We had an absolutely wonderful meal here. The food was excellent. Just the right amount on each course. The waiting staff were super. Altogether a very good experience. Highly recommend.

We had the two and three course set menu, I had the parfait then coq au vin, both or which were excellent. The restaurant was lovely and service very good. We will definitely go back

Had a great early pre-Christmas supper with a friend - had the shepherds pie which was delicious and my friend the coq au Vin which was also good plus a lovely chilled glass of blanc de Blancs to complement! Tres bein!

Enjoyed our Christmas meal with wonderful food and atmosphere as usual. We love eating at Cote it’s the best restaurant in town. Highly recommend to everyone.

Overall excellent service with the advantage of being able to book online. Went with friends for the set lunchtime menu so food reasonably priced. Good variety on menu. Attentive, polite and efficient staff who dealt with our order promptly.
