The food and service was superb. We arrived early but unfortunately there is nowhere to wait, i.e. no bar area. Also the entrance is congested with customers coming and going, paying their bills and staff coming through with food. My Breton chicken was amazing, tasting like chicken should do and the duck was just right.

very enjoyable evening with friends, food and service excellent as usual-liked the complimentary Pampelle Spritz but disappointed that my voucher for a free bottle of wine to be used by 31st August was deemed not to be valid as we had the Spritz-was unaware that only one offer was valid on the occasion!

Absolutely cannot fault the food, it was fantastic. Soup was lovely and steak cooked to perfection. I would have rated it too marks however we left on a “sour” note. We ordered 2 gin & tonic with Gordon’s gin, however when we got the bill they had been charged as Bombay (£2 more expensive per drink). I bought this up with the staff and they said they would look in to this. They returned with a revised bill that had corrected this mistake but they had also added bread on to the new bill at a charge of £2.60 which has been missing from the original bill with no communication they had done so! When we asked for bread with the muscles instead of frites the staff said yes this was possible. They then bought the bread out with main but also some other potatoes. My gripe is this... it seems from a consumer point of view, that we were over charged or a product and to make up some of the difference the bread was then added. This seems VERY unethical business practice. Please be clear, I had no problem paying for all of the food and drink ordered but did leave there with a complete different opinion in the matter of 2 minutes. I could have played you at your own game and asked you to take of the 12.5% optional service you add and perhaps I should have?

Thank you to everyone who was involved at every stage from taking the booking for 18 people, sending out the pre-order menu (which was the full menu - no restrictions), adding an extra person on the morning of our booking and the waiter who did a fab job of looking after us all. The food was great, we were not rushed and everyone came away thoroughly impressed. Thank you.

We often visit Cote in Cirencester and we are usually very satisfied with our visit. Unfortunately this time we had a rather long wait for our menus and for our order to be taken. Once the very polite and apologetic waiter took our order there was a short wait and our delicious food arrived at the table.

Flat bread a bit tough and dried out ,otherwise all excellent

Good food, good value for money and good service. Meets and in some ways exceeds expectations. Some dishes particularly good, like the fish pie and the minute steak.

Family lunch, that went very well. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Staff were excellent, very helpful and the food was outstanding, will definitely return to a Cote restaurant again, we were made to feel very welcome, excellent service and quality of food.

Food was great as ever, but service was little slow due to number of people dining, and only a small number of staff waiting tables. None the less it was a nice atmosphere and good value for money.

Always a pleasure at Côte Cirencester! We sat outside in and the weather was divine and the food was fantastic! Was a shame (as we were celebrating) when the waiter mentioned (when we were paying the bill), that we’d drunk more than we’d eaten.... as much as we were aware of having a jolly celebration, it felt like judgment?

Great service, great food and good wine. We will be back !!!
