We were served a fantastic meal with the help of your excellent staff. This brought the curtain down on our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Thank you. tim huntingford.
Celebrating my dads 80th birthday. Booking the meal in advance very well organised. Lovely food & great service to cater for a large party. Thank you
We were a group of 13 and everyone enjoyed their meals. There was a good choice of menus and the service was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly making it a very pleasant occasion. Thank you.
We always enjoy our meal at Cote in Cirencester and feel it represents good value for money. It is nicely presented and staff are good. Noise level sometimes very high and we would prefer NOT to see service charge automatically added, although we appreciate it is discretionary.
Another great lunch here, the complementary chocolate mousse was the icing on the cake! I will certainly visit again soon as the food is always well presented and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely evening! The service was excellent, thank you!
Easy booking , convenient, easy parking. Pleasant welcome but not warm . Nice friendly waitress Duck over cooked. Reasonable value, nice wine. Too many people serving would prefer one dedicated person
It was our daughters 21st birthday. We bought in a cake earlier and asked for the candles to be lit and brought to our table. No effort was made whatsoever, hugely disappointing. She had chosen Cote for the family meal as this is usually a favourite place of ours. They didn’t even bother to wish her a happy birthday.
Early evening meal so chose the 2 course set lunch menu. All choices were very good particularly the haddock and chicken main courses. I thought drinks could have been a little cheaper. Ambience of restaurant and service was very pleasant.
We enjoyed our evening. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Good choice on the menu. Food was tasty and as described. The only negative was our table was right by the main service door to the kitchen I presume so lots of traffic and noise very near us. We were initially offered a table further in the restaurant and with hindsight we should have done that. Service was very fast but we hit a bit of a lapse after our main course when the restaurant got very busy. Our waitress apologized which was fine. We will definitely return as we enjoyed the food and thought it pretty good value.
Lovely night except for the state of the male toilets
Our meal as always was excellent... however we did have a problem in that my friend had rung Cote Cirencester prior to coming to inquire if she could bring her little well behaved pug to sit under the table in the outside courtyard with us whilst we dined as she thought it too hot to leave him in the car. She was told this was fine as long as we remained outside in the courtyard. However after sitting down for 15 mins the Manageress bore down on us, insisting that dogs were not allowed and that we must have rung reservations London( we had not .. we had rung Cote Cirencester) who would not know and only after a slight argument conceded grudgingly we could sit with the dog that once but that it was against the rules. The whole incident was unnecessary and could have been handled politely and diplomatically ( no customer was complaining) rather than in such an overbearing way by gently saying that next time they would prefer we left the dog outside the restaurant frontage. If indeed a ‘no dogs in courtyard’ rule exists we had taken the trouble to ring first and were misinformed.
Excellent food and service. Table was between door and bar at front which is a little noisy, however they were very busy so limited tables were available. In spite of booking in advance this was the only down side.
Great restaurant. Lovely young people serving. Attentive and show interest Best in Cirencester Great value. A,ways my first choice. Hope they are rewarded well. They deserve to be
I didn’t have a great experience. Didn’t have drinks on menu, didn’t have desserts on menu which choose to have. Then ordered meals which were fine then onto dessert which didn’t have and then brought out wrong dessert. Lovely food will be going back as this is only 1 bad experience
Very pleasant evening. Food was fine, but not extraordinary. Not sure about the ‘optional’ service charge that was automatically added on - 12.5%..... seems a little arrogant.
We came for Sunday lunch the food was delicious and beautifully presented the service was excellent and the staff were very pleasant, would definitely have no hesitation in recommending
The experience and service was excellent as was my meal. My wife enjoyed her seafood linguini although the sauce was not as flavoursome as she is used to and a little watery. Having said that they took that dish off the bill without us asking or saying anything really negative and was greatly appreciated, which just reinforces the fantastic service and experience we had today. Definitely recommend a visit, we will be back for sure. Thank you to all the staff in helping to make our anniversary a memorable one. Rob & Helen Cripps
Excellent greeting and shown to table where our two guests were already seated.
Dear Cotes We have been coming to Cotes for many years and have enjoyed the experience. Today we had lunch at the Cirencester branch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. My meal was fine, but my wife choice of mussels was a poor one as many contained grit and of very poor quality so we returned them. The manager offered another meal which we did not pay for. The staff were fine. As you must be aware, improperly prepared mussels are a major source of food poisoning. I hope my wife doesn’t suffer as as a result. Hamish Purslow.
Great staff and atmosphere and the food is always at a very high standard with which we are very impressed.A regular haunt of ours .
Lovely food and attentive waiting staff it was a pleasure to spend an evening here
We keep coming back to Cote Brasserie due to the consistently good service and food quality. The best restaurant chain we have visited.
Great atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious food, what more could you want? Cote Brasserie is our go-to for a lovely, unpretentious date night meal, but equally good for celebrations with family or friends, or even a quite lunch stop.
Excellent evening. Staff very friendly and organised. Food excellent and cooked exactly right. Well done!!!
Always enjoy our meal at Cote Brasserie Cirencester, a very popular place to eat in town. Food and wine are terrific. On a busy Saturday night though when the place is full it can get very loud.
Overall it was excellent but my food could have been hotter but everyone else’s was fine so it won’t stop me coming again as we all enjoyed our lunch
Firstly definitely reserve a table. My daughters and I booked for bank holiday Monday. On arrival a very pleasant welcome was received. Good waitress service and ordering was as expected. Fairly quick delivery of our food. Extremely delicious and well presented. Would definitely book again.
We had the set menu, which was good value for money. However, both the Risotto and the Ratatouille were coved in Rocket. The toast with the Ratatouille was very hard, and I had to cut it up for my wife, and she left the crust. Also, I'm not happy with an automatic 12% tip being added to the bill, although I know that's optional. I will say, however, the service was excellent.
Food good as always. Service was a little slower than usual as there seemed to be fewer staff.
Well done cirencester team: Mother’s Day is always a long weekend and you could se me the exhaustion on everyone’s faces: but that didn’t detract from the friendly and attentive service. Great to see the place full and the food was lovely. That’s why you guys were full on Sunday night, with the rest of the town was empty. Thanks, we’ll be back!
Service good and friendly but food not great. Disappointed. Needs to improve.
Absolutely stunning food , good service would recommend . Nice atmosphere , nice table for 2 in a quiet area booked my request was fulfilled Would visit again
Great flavours in the Tomates Breton and Pan Fried Haddock. Excellent meal!
We enjoyed a wonderful three course meal from the Prestige Set menu for my partner’s birthday - delicious and good value for money. The service was equally as good. Would highly recommend.
Loved the new Breaded Courgette starter, excellent service as always.
Although booked a table, wasn’t asked to confirm my reservation. Table had a great deal of broken glass on the floor. Had to call back the waiter three times to clean area as more pieces were found. Wasn’t offered free drink of the month. Overall standard I fear has dropped in this establishment. A friendly warm greeting to guests would be nice.
Another very good experience. I am using cote far more than is good for me
great food and atmosphere, lovely service, very polite waitors. Good value for money overall . easy booking and responsive staff, great deals . overall good clean restaurant with a very professional chef and staff
Staff were wonderful - I lost my earring and several of them joined in to help! The complimentary cocktails were lovely. Food was delicious, the only downfall was the moules frites - there was hardly any mussels inside the shells so my portion was really quite small
Not up to usual standards, several starters on set menu not available, apparently because it is menu changeover coming up . Ordered pear and endive salad, not a bit of a naïve in sight just rocket. My husband ordered the bacon egg and little gem salad and again no little gem just rocket. I have feedback to the waitress whose réponse was ‘ oh dear’. Come on Cote this is not good and you are becoming complacent about your usual high standards and value for money good food.
Great food as always. Really taken care of for my birthday.
Service is wonderful - very friendly and welcoming. Delicious brunch! Including gluten-free toast.
We always receive a warm welcome and excellent attentive service whenever we come to the restaurant - which now is often, on account of this. The food is consistently good and the atmosphere of the place warm and friendly. The only criticism we have - and this applies to all the Cote restaurants we have visited - is noise: the interior design with use of hard surfaces reflects sound where a little sound proofing and/or use of sound absorbing materials could help in obviating this.
Had to wait a long time for food and quite a few fish courses not available. We use it a lot so perhaps this was just a bad night but staff as usual very good.
Fab food Great service Lovely waiter ! Thanks guys you’ve done it again xx
We had a very pleasant evening. Our waitress was friendly without being overly attentive. Reasonably priced and tasty food (although unfortunately, the swordfish was overcooked). We'll definitely be returning.
As always a lovely meal and very good service! We enjoyed our French 75’s and the fillet steak is one of the best about! Thank you.
Very helpful and friendly service. Good food, ambiance and value for money.
As we arrived with my elderly mother we were met by a very friendly lady (I should have got her name because she deserves recognition for her amazing customer service - I got the impression she may have been in charge that evening) who immediately noticed my mum's limited mobility and very tactfully suggested a table towards the front of the restaurant where it was quieter (brilliant because mum's hearing isn't great) and very close to the disabled toilet (which then avoided a long flight of stairs to get to the man in toilets). We took advantage of the March offer of a free G&T which went down very well and then spent a very pleasant, unhurried evening with excellent and efficient table service from a friendly waitress. The restaurant was busy and we had booked an early table so we were expecting to be hurried a bit to get the table turned around ready for later diners but this didn't happen. The food was all delicious, freshly cooked and the two steaks that were ordered were both cooked exactly the way they were requested (something that a lot of chefs seems to struggle with in our experience).
