Slow and not very attentive service which is very unusual. Food portions were extremely small- sardines + sea bream- ( but very tasty)

It was my Birthday, the staff treated us like VIP’s but then the food and service is always excellent. We had lunch at another eatery last Saturday and the difference in staff was so noted, my husband said they should go to Cote to be trained, this was a high end Restaurant and was costly .

It was Lucy’s mothers birthday and you very kindly gave us a glass of champagne and a free sweet for her mother this was very much appreciated and we will always remember the great service you also gave us thank you so much Steve Mead

Cote de Boeuf ... £40 for 2, VERY disappointing! Ordered “ medium “. Bone end..RAW, other end overcooked, whole thing just about lukewarm! Fries, cold also. Evening ruined. Spoke to waiter, ...response” Cote de Beouf is never “ hot”,” WHAT!? Will not mention the qualifications of myself or husband, but, just to say, this was NOT acceptable, AND, will not return to Cirencester Cote.

Our view is that Cote is the best restaurant (brasserie) in Cirencester. Just a few glitches. ..sometimes dishes are no longer available an hour before the end of the up to 7pm menus and the cost of wine is rather high versus the competition. However your food is excellent and the staff always aim at fast customer response. Well done. As. PR a man my only other comment is that you need to tell then local area more about the business.

Food was great. Service was great. My only issue was the noise level and interesting that it is a category to rate. It wasn't busy but everything seemed noisy. I don't know if the staff were more clumsy than other restaurants or if it was the acoustics exagerating the constant clatter of dropped cutlery when clearing tables

Very nice like the outdoor space and the 3 course offers.

Staff excellent and food very good value and tasty. Ambience good, service speedy and helpful. The big issue here is the price of drinks and a service charge that is automatically added to the bill without verbal mention - many people just pay the bill! A very small bottle of beer was £3.95 + service charge of 12.5% equating to £4.50. We asked for a glass of wine, but were given what must have been a large glass for £8. Make sure you know the price before ordering and be very specific what you want. A lovely experience spoiled by what appeared to be an underhand means of raising the costs. Partially our fault. Would return but be more conscious of the apparently underhand billing.

Comprehensive menu, with some excellent speciality dishes - the Gazpacho was superb! Friendly, professional staff who gave excellent service. Having eaten regularly at Cote Cirencester we have, perhaps with one exception, consistently had 1st class food and service. Bob Hughes

Table 66 way down inside the restaurant, ideal for the 4 of us as close to patio doors where a breeze flowed through on a very warm Saturday night our starters of french onion soup gorgeous as usual, chicken parfait and charentais & ham very good portion size and enjoyable. Onto the mains tuna nicoise well done as I dont eat pink, breton stew, fish parmentier and a filllet steak all arrived together and were excellent leaving 4 empty plates! As we were all full passed on deserts but those we saw looked lovely. We has a bottle of Syrah on the house by signing up for Cotes news letter, very good a great night all round. We wiil be back !

We enjoyed the whole experience. Food was very good. Service was excellent. We always enjoy Cote. Have eaten in Cheltenham, Eaton/Windsor, Chester......always been happy.

Lovely breakfast and great service however half of our party of four had to wait longer for their food as the special requests noted by the waitress had not been carried out by the kitchen. When all of the food did come it was delicious.
