Our party of eleven were well looked after, service was excellent and food great.

Good meal as always - great value as always - prompt service - friendly staff - pleasant ambience. What more can you want in the early evening in Cirencester.

service not great, food tasty but portions far too small. Both my son and I were hungry after eating a 3 course meal.

Totally devastated & shocked at the rudeness of our greeting this evening! We are very regular customers & have always enjoyed our evenings & lunches at Cote with many friends & family. We have always recommended you to others as we’ve always enjoyed the food, service, atmosphere & lovely staff! Tonight we were greeted with hostility!! The dark haired lady (no name tag) was rude, abrupt & dismissive. My husband & I were Sooo shocked we told her we will not be staying to eat & promptly left. We are still very upset at how we were treated & feel very reluctant to return. 😢. This young lady should NOT be front of house in ANY establishment. I feel you should know how this lady is making your valued customers feel. We will miss our Cote experiences & our ‘Blanc de Blanc’ Very Disappointed ☹️ Mr & Mrs Buckley

Welcomed with a smile. Very professional, awareness of staff asking about comfort, enjoyment, any extras we wanted, etc. Always important when eating out.

Another enjoyable meal. Prestige menu is good value with a good choice. Music a bit loud at 12.30 but turned down/off later. Noise level better than sometimes - we were on the edge of the tables, a bit removed from the main cluster, so perhaps that’s the reason

As a regular customer of Cote Brassiere in Cirencester and Gloucester where I’ve always been very pleased with the food and service, sadly today was not a good experience. The service was very slow, drinks orders were taken and served fairly promptly but 15 minutes later I had to call our waiter to take our food order. When the food arrived it was placed on our table hurriedly not checking who’s side orders were who’s and given to the wrong person. I ordered the Fish Pie which tasted very nice until I found in my mouthful of food 5 large fish bones about 5cm long and fairly thick, which was very unnerving and I had to remove the whole mouthful of food from my mouth in fear of discovering more, then I felt unable to finish it. I advised our waiter of the fact and he advised there was a small chance if finding bones, I showed him the fish bones I had removed from my mouth and he advised he would give my feedback to the manager, I heard nothing. If a child or an elderly person had been given that dish, they may not have readily removed these bones.... We then ordered a desert and some hot drinks, the desert arrived with 2/3 minutes and after 15 minutes I finally managed to alert our waiter that we hadn’t received our drinks and they arrived 30 seconds later and were lukewarm. All in all a very disappointing experience for my birthday lunch, it seemed that there was a shortage of staff and lack of organisation, surely the management should have taken some kind of responsibility for the very poor service today and at the very least acknowledged my quite serious complaint concerning the fish pie.

A lovely lunch for all five of us. All with differing choices, but all well satisfied! Once again , the brilliance of the chef, the service and atmosphere is excellent.

We had a lovely evening with friends and although the restaurant was very busy the staff were attentive and polite even apologising profusely when our dessert was a little delayed because you had a sudden influx of new customers.

Understaffed. Service was extremely slow!! Clearly taking more bookings than they can cope with. Errors made on bill too! Undercharged!

Everything was excellent, my only issue is with the feeling of being rushed by some of the staff. One does get the uncomfortable impression of being pushed to vacate for another diner!

Not as good as previous visits. We went out for a relaxed meal but felt rushed all the tine. When we arrived it seemed ages before we were asked what we would like to drink, then straight away we were asked what we were eating. Usually we are asked about drinks when we arrive so we can have those while deciding on food. Has put me off going there for my bday meal, as I want to relax and enjoy it

It was a disappointment that several items, including steak and sliced meat were off the menu. The choice was therefore rather limited.

Started off very well, but my mothers main which was fish parmentier has large leeks in it which were not cooked and 4 fish bones (I know you can not guarantee no bones) but you would excuse 1 or 2. We did complain and the manager apologised and said that she would inform the chef, we then got the bill which was in excess of £170 only to find we had been for charged for the dish which we complained about and a nearly £20 tip had been added which we were not served by just one person so we had to ask them to remove it, we have eaten at Cotes on numerous occasions since you have opened in Cirencester and always felt the quality of the food was fantastic but felt really let down today which was very disappointing.

A very wonderful Sunday evening spent with my husband. Staff, food, wine atmosphere were just great for evening together. We had all 3 courses with cocktails to start, red wine by the glass for mains and dessert wine to finish. We had perfectly cooked steaks (I mean perfectly charred on the outside and medium and medium rare on the inside as ordered). As recommended by the waiter we had Apple tarts and s Dessert wine to finish

Very pleasant & professional waiters. "Fish pie" excellent. Must remember to book a quieter table next time.

In Cirencester for a birthday weekend away, we’ve travelled from Kent and chose Cote as our dinner choice because of the usual lovely food & atmosphere. Very disappointed to get to the restaurant & be shoved in a corner by the kitchen, front door & bar. Very loud smashing every time the door for the kitchen went. Dirty plates being taken by our table. Table of 4 next to us complained & said they wanted to be moved and that it wasn’t ok. The waitress moved them but wasn’t very understanding & put it down to having a large party at the back of the restaurant. Starter was lovely, was obviously prepared earlier in the day so was seasoned perfectly & tasted great. Main course came out, bland, no flavour at all & wasn’t enjoyable. We watched them cut out bread without using a cloth & just using their hands. Several people turned up 5/10 mins early - as standard - for their table but was turned away and told it wasn’t ready so would have to come back or wait outside in the rain as there is no waiting area. What was meant to be a great night was actually not enjoyable and we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Not happy with the way any of it went.

We eat a lot at your restaurants in the Cotswolds.Yet sadly we had to leave early from are lovely food due to a private matter.With that not in mind your staff were very understanding and helpful in sorting out are short stay at your restaurant so we must say a big thank you to all of the staff at Cirencester cote brassiere many thanks Simon Curtis

The food was delicious, the service was a little slow but overall it was enjoyable.

Only negative, we were not acknowledge fir some time after entering the restaurant. Everything else was brilliant!
