Côte Cirencester

This was the worst meal we have ever had at Cirencester restaurant. We ordered steak frites, and when it cam the steak was like leather so returned it. The second was marginally more edible, but could not eat it all as our jaws ached so much due to the amount of chewing the steak required. Ordered crumble aux pommes for dessert, and this was not up to the usual standard; hardly any crumble!We received a complimentary Americano each for our trouble. if this had been our first visit to the Cirencester restaurant we would have vowed never to return, but we know the restaurant is capable of doing much better.

Lovely eating out experience. Atmosphere is chilled and relaxed, great menu offering and professional team who clearly love what they do and focused on delivering a positive customer experience 😊

Food was excellent but staff were in-interested (verging on rude). The wrong main course was served to us, there were long waits to collect plates after we had finished our food and to get the bill I had to physically leave our table. Would have been more understandable if the restaurant would have been packed but it was probably only quarter full. Not up to the usual high standards!!!

The food was of good quality but my waiter had a foul mood, it took 40 minutes for him to come back and ask for our order which I feel was far overdue

As usual we had a very good meal -friendly staff and delicious food/drinks. Not too busy for a change. Still difficult to hear the conversation at times but that is normal.

A very tasteful lunch meal with good service and very good value for money. Visited many times and never disappointed.

Tuna nicoise salad was awful. Sent it back. So over cooked and tasted bitter with so much grilling. Staff are lovely though and replaced with chicken. Expensive. Used to be so much better than this.

Four of us eating and every course was banging. Staff were friendly and service was efficient. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Always a pleasant experience but today the tables were very close together so the noise from the next table was intrusive.

Great vegan selection including a lovely pudding. Very attentive and knowledge staff

Lovely friendly atmosphere,great service, food was very tasty. The only thing we can mention that my husband had mussels and found the size of them very small. Everything else was excellent!

Perfect Sunday lunch for two ! Chateau Briande was melt in the mouth . Perfect atmosphere and service as usual !

Food was great, service was good but unfortunately got our bill wrong. Staff were very apologetic and corrected it without question.

I booked as usual. We arrived at 5.50 for a 6pm booking. Although we had a starter which arrived fairly punctual, we then waited over an hour for our main course. Sadly we took a guest who had a limited amount of time! Quite stressful!

I'm thinking of getting shares in Cotes of Cirencester (only joking) this is to show how popular they are. Go there regularly and have never been disappointed.

Very popular restaurant, buzzy atmosphere. I am surprised that Cirencester has so few good places like Cote for dinner.

Cote is consistently good and yet again we were not disappointed. Food was excellent and great service. What's not to like!!!!

It’s always nice at cote, great atmosphere, great food and service. The Breton chicken was dry tonight but no effort was made to make up for this so this was disappointing.

Great atmosphere, terrific food, lovely cocktail, but served before we’d ordered so complimentary thank you. Lots of staff although the restaurant was very busy.

We always look forward to coming to Cote, and today we weren’t disappointed. It’s not just the delicious food. It’s also the friendly efficient staff who make our visits so enjoyable. We had a great lunch at Cote today.

It took a long time to order, however once we did our food came swiftly. The food was good as always. Our waiter was grumpy but warmed up. We are regular guest so we all feel a menu change would be great. We were very disappointed when the bill came over charged by £77 2 x bottles of red we never ordered and we were also charged for the complimentary cocktails which should of been free on my booking. This is not acceptable.

Cote is a little bit of France in the English countryside! We love the atmosphere and the excellent food. It was a busy lunchtime on our recent visit so it was quite noisy, but that in itself is quite French too! Only complaint is that one of our party had sea bass which was rather dry and over cooked. Everything else we ordered was delicious. We hope to return soon.

Very busy and extremely noisy! We did nt stay long. A Saturday night I suppose! I had the fillet steak with a extra butter. Unfortunately the steak was very small. For almost £25 it would have been so nice to have a mushroom and tomato. The plate looked quite bland. We are regulars but will avoid sat evenings from now on.

As a party of 4, we all had a great night out with excellent food and service.

Really lovely atmosphere, great quality food, excellent service and good value for money. A perfect 18th birthday family meal with the added nice touch of ‘Happy Birthday’ written in chocolate sauce on the birthday boy’s desert delivered with the staff singing.....
