Just as good as ever brilliant welcome and service as always

All the staff were amazing the food was tasty but stone cold. The staff were great in sorting out the issue and apologetic.

Easy booking. Attentive, polite and fun staff. Excellent service. Huge platter of smoked salmon and egg, delicious coffee and an overall lovely experience.

Would love some green tea, not on menu!! How can you reduce noise level so we can each other speak without raising our voices?!!

Thrilled you’re back. Ambient temperature could be a bit higher, the main dining area is distinctly cool on a fresh day.

Food was delicious and the staff were attentive. We shared the creme caramel for pudding and it was absolutely melt in your mouth divine.

It is a pleasure to eat somewhere that is welcoming and clearly understands how a restaurant should function. That immediately puts the diner at ease but it is an even better experience when the food has obviously been given the respect it deserves and is served graciously and with a smile. Food as usual was very good could have done with a few more staff as they seemed to be struggling with the number of covers.

Too many people in the restaurant, not enough social distancing. Quite a shock to see so many people. Salt and pepper on the tables should be removed. Multi use menus, one each, when it should be one throwaway copy per table. A bit disappointing......... However, food and service were excellent as usual.

We and our friends love the food at Cote, the staff and service too. We would go A LOT more, if it were quieter. The noise level has always been, and is still, too much. We can hear the conversations on adjoining tables, so with that, and with so much clatter, talking is a real strain. Even with only 4 people it is very difficult to have a conversation, and we all have very good hearing! Our thoughts are that some soft upholtery on chairs, perhaps some discreet screens, and plants, and other small adjustments, would help a lot, and we would come a lot more regularly, as it is the best place in town - for food quality.

The service was polite, courteous and friendly. Our meals were tasty, speedily served and my wife's Steak Frittes was well presented. I had the goats cheese course which was not as comfortably served as I would have expected. The bowl was too small and the cut vegetables were quite chunky so I had to remove them from the bowl to cut them - although it was certainly tasty and a good sized portion.

simple and uncomplicated, great that it is opened again, we will resume our weekly attendance.

So lovely to have Cote open again and buzzing and bustling as always. The small glass of wine seemed very very small... more like 125 than 175. All the food was good and service was super. Just a bit quick with the starters really.

My lobster was excellent as was the complimentary wine and crème caramel. It made my birthday lunch into quite a special occasion. All the staff were attentive and friendly and had enough time for a little chat even though Cote was extremely busy. We were lucky with the weather and the restaurant had saved us a table in the courtyard which always makes for a nice eating experience.

Good to have Cotes in Cirencester back open again, my wife was straight back to her favourite Beef Bourguignon and I went whole lobster washed down with their crisp house white - delicious as always and served with a smile!

Remarkable. We booked for the first night open for all those months, along with a restaurant full of other customers and had a brilliant meal. Really good food and super service. Well done!

Fab return to Côte for us this evening. The menu did not disappoint and the service was great!! We were able to eat al fresco, which was a bonus (as the weather and availability allowed) but inside all was good and we would have happily enjoyed our meal in the restaurant. Great job Côte, we will return soon :)

Great to have Cote back after 6 months of lockdown. Food tremendous as usual, small problems dealt with swiftly and effectively. We are happy bunnies!

Superbly managed throughout our time, felt safe and relaxed but still enjoyed attentive service

Great service from the moment we arrived, food was fresh and delicious. Great value with the August offer, and will definitely be back. Only reason not 5star as we didn’t sample all three courses as a quick bite and it was a little noisy with the low ceilings, but that’s not there fault and next time will eat a bit later.

Well cooked & presented food. Excellent service, attentive but not intrusive. Only down was that I personally found the chocolate crepe dessert cloying but other than that value for money.

Good was a good a always, it didn't seem as if many tables had been taken away to create more space around different customers. So felt a bit crowded.

Fabulous evening. Amazing food served by lovely, efficient and discreet staff in a socially distanced but buzzy atmosphere.

The ambiance was as good as always and the waiters and waitresses were lovely. The food however was very disappointing. The Fish Parmentier was ok (no green in sight though) but the crepe with bananas and chocolate sauce was incredibly sweet with sugar all over it. It was a massive sugar rush and I felt quite ill after it.....

Good service, nice table, great food. Only downside was having to wait outside in the wind and rain initially.

Lovely to be back in our favourite restaurant for a post lockdown treat.

Our family of 4 visited Cote Cirencester on the first night of re-opening after lockdown closure, and were delighted with our experience. The service was excellent; quick, attentive and cheerful despite all staff wearing visors and working to new rules. The food was superb - steaks, lamb and veg risotto all cooked to perfection. The crab mayonnaise starter is also a real highlight. My only suggestion would be to include more locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, but clearly this restaurant is a well oiled machine turning out delicious dishes and french classics exactly as they should be. Great wine menu and delicious coffee to boot. Plus, Cote are offering the ‘Eat out to Help Out’ deal which makes a visit incredible value for the quality. Well done & thanks to the Ciren team for a brilliant service!
