We didn’t actually end up eating in the restaurant because we walked in, weren’t greeted by anyone until eventually I smiled at someone who looked me up and down and continued to ignore me - disgusting!

Always friendly, consistent high quality, good mix of customers! Some stellar dishes at very reasonable prices. The Tuna Nicole’s- fresh tuna- puts nearby rival to shame/ they use tinned and charge more!

The service was really slow and the food was not good. Steak was like cardboard and the food seemed really greasy. We complained about the steak and it was taken off the bill. I have been going to this restaurant for years and it’s always hit and miss with regard to food and service.

Everything was very pleasant except the quality of the halibut was disappointing.

Very disappointed that on the hottest day of the year, the restaurant did not have the air conditioner on at lunchtime. It was terribly uncomfortable. I had suggested Cote to my friend who has never been before, so I was quite embarassed. Our starters were OK but Risotto was over cooked and mushy. I had to ask for water to be topped up more than once.

Everything well cooked and flavoursome however we indulged in the July special of Lobster frites and were disappointed. Lobster is expensive but the size yielded one or two bites for the tail and very small claws. Shame. Left feeling short changed 😟

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. All of the food was excellent and beautifully presented. The member of staff who took our orders was exceptionally helpful and went searching through your stock room to find me some Campari!

Delicious salmon but the fish parmentiet was overbalanced by leeks!

As always a pleasant dining environment and service. Only disappointment was the special starter grilled lobster, the claw was good but the half shell body looked like it was the last one left which on enquiry it was so it wasnt great.

The food and service is good. The trouble is you can barely hear the person that you’re dining with because the noise level is so high! Perhaps some acoustic treatment would help.

So disappointed! We ordered mix olives and they tested funny when we complained to the waiter he said what was wrong with the olives. When kids food arrived it was fish and chips( kids ) smelled very fishy. My child complained that it didn’t taste nice when I tried I could see that fish was off( he could have food poisoning l). We complained to one of the manager who said she will take it to the kitchen, instead she put it in the bin. When we asked for the bill we spoke to the manager martina who wasn’t very friendly and we tried to explain but her response was I didn’t know anything about it. No apology from the GM at all I find her very rude and very unprofessional. It’s sad because I love Cote but this was my last time there i won’t be coming back! They definitely need to do more training on people skills as specially if you run the business. Such a disappointment

We visited Cote Chiswick on Wednesday this week. We each chose a different set menu from the July choice and enjoyed both. It was difficult to choose. The smoked mackerel rillettes is a real favourite and I wait for its summer arrival. The staff are always warm, friendly and attentive. They seem to welcome regulars and new customers with the same happy faces. The Manageress there is a joy and does every job her staff do without hesitation. I suppose you could say we are regulars although rarely more than once a week but always enjoy our visit. If I have a criticism of this restaurant it is that when full the noise levels are quite high - but that's a problem for management and not staff.

Lovely people. It was difficult to make a change and mix the set lunch with, for example, 2 first courses instead of a main.

A very pleasant experience, Ioana did us proud, and the complimentary G+Ts went down well. Back again on Monday.
