Regularly visit Côte both in Chiswick & Bristol never disappoints

Fantastic new years eve. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT as always. Great value for money

We go to this particular Cote every week because the staff are amazing, they are always smiling, very polite and friendly and happy to help at all times. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food is spot on.

Tasty and imaginative food and friendly staff meant we had a good meal. There was one downside however - that of piped music struggling over the volume of the noise of many customers having a good time. The music seemed to be of a trumpet which badly needed tuning... though why music is necessary at all is beyond us.

Good food, good service, and the ambience is really excellent

Went with my sister and 9-year old niece. We thoroughly enjoyed the starters of grilled sardines (lovely and crisp), parsnip soup (loved the thick texture) and the blood orange salad. My lentil main course was delicious while my niece swapped her chicken breast dish for her mum's main course after setting eyes on the breaded haddock and fries!! The creme brulee dessert was rather too sweet for me. My sister and niece chose the chocolate pot. After a mouthful, my sister gave up as she was very full, so my niece polished it off fir her (as well as her own!). All in all the food is well prepared and great value for money, with something for everyone. Shout out to the attentive waiting staff too! Will definitely be returning.

Best is the consistency - time after time key dishes are always great. Then the service; prompt, polite, informed and present. Followed by the specials; tied two tonight and enjoyed.

We had a wonderful meal and the children were well catered for too. The staff were very friendly.

The prestige menu is very good value for money. High standard of food and plenty of choice. Also friendly staff who offer excellent service.

It ws very busy and very noisy today in Chiswick. The location has very poor acoustics. The staff and the food, as usual, were excellent and excellent value. Staff always a joy to meet. We always enjoy our visits.

Excellent service from a very busy lunchtime at the restaurant. Food was very nice and tasty and arrived pipping hot which is rare these days. Would definitely recommend.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was brilliant.

Whilst the food is usually excellent at all of the Cote establishments I've visited, I wish I could say the same for the service. We were seated at our table with a menu in hand and then ignored by all of the waiting staff, who didn't so much as glance at us, even whilst serving the tables packed closely either side of our table. We didn't even get our complimentary bottle of water which we had to ask for a couple of times. Although they were very busy, they took orders from at least 3 tables who were seated after us whilst continuing to ignore us. We eventually managed to attract someone's attention, but I was very close to walking out. I have to say that this has happened to me quite often in Cote and in particular in Chiswick. Also, having ordered desert, the waitress ungraciously plonked down my sister's in front of her only to grab it back 10 seconds later (without saying anything) and give it to another diner who had ordered the same thing. She didn't even apologise for her mistake. Disappointed.

The January 2/3 Course meal offer was not available as advertised but we were offered a bottle of Chardonnay as compensation. A very nice gesture and the meal a la carte was excellent as was the service.

Cote is reliable and value for money, but the quality of service has deteriorated in this Chiswick branch. Usually water comes quickly and orders are taken soon after sitting. Not so much now. Today our drinks took a while to arrive and one of the guests beers was missed until we asked again and again. There are too many menus offering specials but when it came to deserts we had to ask three times for the main menu to find a January 'special' not on the desert lists only on the main menu. Attention to detail has flagged. Waiters can be ditsy and slow and they may be cutting costs as on the last couple of occasions we have visited it seemed short staffed and the staff under undue pressure.

It was a warm, welcoming atmosphere. all waiters were very nice, polite and welcoming. We enjoyed our food, especially liked the chef's soup and deserts.

We were really impressed and noticed a significant improvement compared to a visit a few months back. Quality of ingredients and execution seemed much better. Appetizer of saucisse was very good, as was the fish pie/parmentier, if a tad on the salty side. Blanc de blanc sparkling wine and 2018 Chardonnay were also great. Our waitress was lovely and we had a warm welcome and goodbye too. Well done to all who were involved in turning this around. It's a real transformation and we'll be back soon. Thanks

Good food and helpful with menu for allergens. Only issue was we sat for 40 mins with our plates waiting to be cleared.

A very happy birthday experience with a complimentary glass of Kir for the four of us. A lovely surprise chocolate pud with a happy birthday song from the waiters was another lovely surprise. Thank you. A very busy day just after Christmas which meant the noise level was high and service rather slow.

The main course - coquilles and black pudding - was excellent but should have been hotter. The service was friendly and swift.

I’m a long standing fan of Cote and was my second visit in 2 weeks. Chose from the more expensive set menu and was not disappointed. Had the French onion soup and grilled chicken with mushroom sauce. Enjoyed it.
