Food and service yesterday were perfect and we had a very enjoyable meal. Thank you!

The Cote is always good, and very good value. Just one criticism this time: my companion and I ordered steaks, and they had cooled a bit much by the time they reached us. As always, the hard floor, walls and furnishings make things a bit noisy, but it's not unbearable. On another matter, I would suggest that you reduce your six stars to five: it gives people a central point round which to navigate.

Only the noise spoils the experience. Food, service value for money all excellent. I do,not come as much as I could because of the horrendous level of. noise. Is it the tiled floor?

Six of us had a lovely evening. As always, Cote was fantastic value, service was superb, staff super friendly. We had a 'quiet' table away from the hubbub of some large Christmas parties! Couldn't have been better!

The food was delicious and the service very good. The only downside was the noise levels. The place was packed full on a Monday evening but it was the week before Christmas. Maybe they could think of noise insulation?

The service was overstretched and we waited a long time to be seated and to get our drinks order in. However, the staff were brilliant, very polite and friendly and made up for the long waiting time.

I feel the service can be improved. After we were shown to our table, we had to wait for a while before we could ask for pre-dinner drinks. What would have been good immediately we were seated was the waiter/waitress asking if we wanted drinks or even water, and if we wanted bread or olives. The waiter who showed us to our table did tell us about the menus but we had not even removed our coats and sat down! All in all, a good experience, but the service just needs to be fine tuned. I will definitely still eat at this restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere the minute you walk in. My friend and I were given a table near to where the drinks, coffees, etc are made. This area was quite noisy at times, due to coffee machine being used and milk being heated. Also we were quite near the door, so every time it opened a huge draught and cold air was on my back. At one point the door was left open for a few minutes. The staff were aware that I kept turning round to see if someone was going to shut it. One of the staff came over and said, sorry the door is open we burnt some bread. That wasn't true, there was no smell of burn bread, and I believe the food is brought up from below. Think he was hot and needed to cool down so opened door. All that said, the food was lovely. The roast chicken cooked to perfection. The frittes could have been hotter, my friend suggested sending them back to be re heated but we didn't.

Despite being busy we had a delicious meal and very good service.

Early Wednesday evening and the noise levels were a bit of a struggle, but that is due to the layout the the place, and my companion and I managed to rise above it. The haddock parmentier was simply fabulous, and the staff, as always, excellent.

very good evening but I wish you would put your hamburgers on the evening menu. I have told they are really good but I never do lunch at Cote

Lunch with a friend, we received a warm welcome, we were given a choice of tables. Service was great, food was delicious, price was excellent for the area, and standard of restaurant. Great all round value.

The food was spot on and reasonably priced. The restaurant itself can be quite noisy but there’s not much anyone can do about it.

Wanted to have two first courses but they both arrived together - quickly taken away and both were very nice - the second course was still hot when it re-appeared. Slightly noisier than usual but it is Christmas!

Very pleased with my lunch today. Good service, excellent food and wine and most importantly no music being played(it's so much easier to listen to conversation as a result).

Had a lovely meal before a visit to Christmas at Kew. The service and staff are fantastic.

Excellent as always. Cauliflower soup to start - followed by my usual steak frites. The food is always great! The plus point is always the service, which is consistently superb. My favourite local restaurant.

Always excellent and reliable with friendly service and brilliant for those who have to be gluten free. If it were a little less noisy it would have top marks!

Breakfast was very good but we waited a good 20 minutes before we were served. Furthermore the waiter did not ask if we wanted ice in our drinks and assumed we did. Had to ask the waiter to remove the ice as the drinks were cold.

Excellent food and wine and a lovely waitress - friendly and efficient.

Staff could not be friendlier. Considering how busy it was, we were served promptly and food arrived in very good time. As always, food excellent and very good value for money. Only down side - very noisy and too hot. See you soon!
