We always enjoy the food and service at Cote. The only slight negative for us are the high noise levels due to the hard furnishings (better towards the front of the restaurant).

Great value breakfast, excellent service but a very noisy environment which takes away from the whole experience a bit.

Great food and service. We had a lovely booth at the back of the restaurant which was perfectly sized for four of us and felt cosy and intimate. I know some of the tables are a bit small but the booths are just great. I had asked for one on booking so nice to know that my request was not ignored. Only one criticism and that is the steak frites was a bit gristley and chewy but other than that all good.

Cote never disappoints - the changing set menus offer interesting choices, and the food is well presented and tasty. Cote Chislehurst has plenty of well spaced tables so not too noisy and the staff are friendly and give good service.

Had a lovely meal . Food is excellent great service . Free bottle of wine was very nice . Would definitely recommend.

We all had the August special as a main which was the cote de boeuf, which was absolutely perfect. Was a really enjoyable evening with very friendly staff

Our waitress was really slow serving us. Was like she kept forgetting about us.

Our Waitrose was very rude We were constantly ignored, then our order was wrong, rather than taking the food away it was left to go cold while they got the rest of the order. We had to ask 3 times for the ham The waitress then handed it to us without eye contact and without any apology We complained to the manager and he was great he apologised and took that meal from the menu However we couldn't wait to leave such a bad experience ruined a lovely day for us won't be returning

Terrible. The girl waiting on us was new and said so got our orders completely wrong so my kids who were served first had their food taken away and redone and were the last to eat. It was my mums birthday and for a table of ten you should not have an inexperienced waitress on hand. We had to ask a more senior waitress for condiments it was a real disappointment for us local regulars

Couldn't fault our visit today, we got the table we asked for, a complimentary glass of fizz, lovely food & great service!! Thank you x

My partner and I have eaten at Cote Chislehurst many times and always had a good experience, but on this occasion not so. Booked online and arrived on time. Ordered food and wine, we were informed by the waitress there would be a 20 min delay, so we ordered some bread. One hour later the food arrived, the order was wrong and cold!! Then manager offered to replace our order but we were passed it by then. The front of house staff & manager were fantastic. I offered to pay for the wine but she didn’t change for a thing. Front of house fantastic. Chefs / Cooks. Awful. A real let down. I still have the waitress a tip. Why should she suffer because of a weak kitchen.

Service not great, food not up to usual standard the chicken tasted as if it had been warmed up by deep frying. Not a great experience.

Unfortunately the food was very delayed - not just for our table + it would have been nice to have been told that there was an hour wait before we ordered as we only wanted a quick meal!

Not good at all. We asked to move tables and then got no service. Had to ask for drinks order to be taken and had to ask for pudding order to be taken as well. Aperitifs were supposed to be free but was added to our bill. Had to ask for that to be changed. Gratuity was included on bill do we paid it but was not earned.

Poor! With only one waitress who seemed to be working her socks off while the others were all just standing around and looking at their mobiles. Arguing between the staff. Couldn't get anyone's attention. As for the food. Fried eggs broken but still served up. Scrambled eggs cold. Yoghurt and fruit ordered but a yoghurt pot arrived ages after our hot meals were served. Ordered 2 sides of avocado but a side of tomatoes arrived instead. By the time the staff got the order right everything was cold ! shocking!!!

The wait for everything was completely mixed up. We ordered the hot food deal which is a hot drink, juice and hot food. We got the coffee and tea when we had finished our meals and other drinks. Chased 3 times and just got told 'theres a ticketing service' was so bad. Overheard a table beside us not getting everything they ordered also and asked for their bill to be updated accordingly.

We enjoyed the dinner and staff was very efficient. Delicious food highly recommend. Value for money.

Hi. Whilst most aspects of our meal was very satisfactory, my mother pork tenderloin was a disappointment. She found it to be overcooked, which I could see as it looked very dry, and she had to spit out some gristle! I did point this out to the member of staff who handled payment, who politely voiced some regret.

We were a party of ten adults with two children. We had chosen a wide variety of the dishes and every one was excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be going back.

Staff are always lovely here! Biggest disappointment at breakfast this morning there was no black pudding or orange juice! Considering there is a Sainsbury’s 1 min walk from Cote seemed a shame.

I have to say the food is normally consistently good here but we were slightly disappointed this time. The garlic bread the first time it was brought up was not cooked through and the second time it was as dry as a bone with no sign of any garlic butter. We didn’t bother asking for it to be changed as it came up with our mains. I had a Chicken dish - skin soggy and overall not much flavour. However, we will go back as we feel this was hopefully just a bad day in the kitchen and we are normally always very satisfied.

Food and service were good until the bill came and extra drinks had been added to the menu. Considering we were the only people in there it seemed extremely strange how we were overcharged.

Food was undercooked and greasy, we weren't asked if the food was ok. We weren't asked if we wanted another drink, we had to remove our own plates onto an empty table. Really disapoointing experience.
