Excellent restaurant both for food, value and atmosphere. Always enjoy my meal.

Attentive and timely service, good portions of tasty and interesting combinations of food. Reasonably priced wine too! All contributes to a lovely leisurely Sunday!

We were looked after from the moment we entered - especially my husband who is disabled and in a wheelchair. Great food and lovely staff.

Sadly we didn't have the best experience. We booked a table for 6 of us but unfortunately there were two large groups (20+) dining at the same time which had a negative effect on us. Firstly we waited a very long time before we were even offered a drink. Then when we ordered the food a few things we wanted were unavailable (probably taken by the large parties). The starters were good. The mains were very disappointing. Everything was incredibly salty and the pork bellies were inedible. There was such a huge layer of fat on top which left very little meat. The pork tenderloin was also too salty with a salty gravy and was dry. We didn't receive our mains in a timely manner either and had a very long wait between courses. Again, the staff were obviously too busy tending to the large groups. The desserts were generally very good (apple crumble was barely warm in the middle though). So overall it was quite disappointing. Slow service and not great food. A few in our party are regular diners and say it is usually much better. But as a first-timer at Cote, I am not convinced and not sure I'd return after this experience. The manager did discount some items from our bill which we felt was the right thing to do considering.

Special dish that all 3 of us planned to order was not available, despite being promoted online. We were seated near a very rowdy office party even though there were other tables available. Food was okay but not special. All in all a bit average for the price.

Really good food and value. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday lunchtime but service was efficient and food came quickly enough. Lunch 3-course meal very nicely priced.

I just wanted to say thank you to the amazing staff at Cote Chislehurst this morning who were nothing but lovely and kind when my baby daughter was screaming and crying. I was so embarrassed but they made me feel so much better. And they were brilliant with my daughter. So thank you to the wonderful team.

Have been many many times and the food is always excellent. On this occasion the service was absolutely terrible. We were shown to our seats and then sat there without menus or anyone asking us if we’d like a drink for over 15 minutes. Then asked a passing waitress to bring 2 coffees. She did but still No menu so waited another 20 minutes before asked for menus. We had then been in the restaurant for a total of 40 minutes before we ordered our food. As I had complained from that point the service was better but it spoiled the brunch. I refused to pay the service but to be honest meal and experience was ruined. I don’t know who our waitress was as each time I had to ask a passing waitress. Very very poor.

Great food. Efficient, friendly and attentive staff. Only problem was that a few things we requested had run out, obviously popular after a busy week.

Staff were brilliant and very accommodating as we had our baby gender reveal!

Meal was very nice, the minute steak was very slightly chewy in parts and the portion of chips wasn't very generous but overall it really was enjoyable.

Breakfast was good although slow service and unable to have a 2nd coffee as it was going to take up to 25 minutes! Water was dripping into a bucket through an electric light fitting 2 feet from our table.

Always a super meal and great value for money. The only downside is we never get the table we ask for even when we go in and make a special request.

A great atmosphere as usual made to feel very welcome

Having dined in Cote restaurants for a number of years I have always found the food and service to be of a consistently high standard. The food this evening was perfect, although one of our party was supposed to receive bread with her meal which never materialised, the service on the whole was poor. Our waitress was friendly, when we actually saw her, and the other staff made us feel invisible. It’s the first time that we encountered poor service in the Chislehurst branch

Service good, menu great, but when my chicken came up it was slightly underdone on the inside and tough on the outside, sent it back and the new one was lovely, but think should have been offered a glass of wine, as under cooked chicken isn't great. The rest of the food was lovely. Also thoughts the toilet were dreadful, 2 out of 3 weren't working, for a busy restaurant I don't think that is good.
