A lovely time celebrating my birthday with friends such great staff, special thanks to Eduardo and Olivia both service and happy birthday singing. Delicious food as always and we all really enjoyed the complimentary kir royales so thankyou Cote and your great staff we will return xx

There is always a Great lunch, good food and a fantastic atmosphere.

Very good meal, service a little slow to start but there was a large party in. There is still a lot of noise as there are no soft furnishings to absorb the sound in the upper floor but a good atmosphere.

Excellent service from start to finish. Excellent food (especially the roast duck) apart from a steak that was too salty: when this was pointed out it was speedily replaced without question.

Early evening booking paid off as there were few people dining at this time and the noise level was acceptable. Delightful girl took our order and served our food. Young man gave me a very nice tomato juice with Worcester sauce.

The food is good and the service was great but the women’s toilets let you down. They were untidy, had cracked toilet seats and could have done with a clean. Such a shame.

Excellent meal in lovely surroundings and the January offer of a free bottle of wine was an added bonus. Thank you. Hazel Alger

Consistent food & service as always - staff very pleasant & accommodating. Chicken dish was rather dry but overall a good meal.

Had a really nice meal with very good and attentive staff. However the evening was spoilt greatly, as when leaving the restaurant as I slipped on a very slippery and worn out floor surface which resulted in me jarring my knee and hip. I strongly recommend that this incident is recorded and that something is done to the area of worn floor to eliminate the chance of further issues.

Super morning get together with the girls for breakfast. Great, fast service from very happy staff. Usual delicious breakfast, can’t praise enough.

Although the restaurant was really busy they kept an eye on us and served us in a reasonable amount of time. The ‘new’ waiter was always smiling and was very helpful. Three choices were off the menu as they had been so busy all day. Keep up with your 2 courses for £9.95. Excellent value.

Excellent food and service - don’t think we’ve ever had a bad meal at Cotes. However we booked the restaurant following receiving a email deal of £9.95 for two courses but the bill came up charging £11.95. Got it sorted but with not quite the full discount - just a little bit annoying. Will not put us off returning sometime soon though!

Very good service and accommodating on various allergies including Gluten Free and Egg/Cucumber. It’s so nice have trained staff who understand allergies.

Consistent quality of food but lack of atmosphere (especially given it was a festive booking - no decorations etc?) Quality of service could be improved - table not as requested and also not ready despite arriving after booking time. If you’re in the main area at peak time the noise levels are very high

Usually go to Cote Blue water but Chislehurst lacks something with food. Calamari not as well cooked as with the Chicken dish. Blue water is usually 10/10 but Chislehurst 06/10. However staff were very pleasant!

Food is lovely as always and staff are great. We visit this restaurant often and are never disappointed.

Cote always serves good food well cooked but it’s the small things they fail on. We booked in advance and were shown to a table by the toilet when there were other better tables available. This shouldn’t happen when you book in advance. There was a lovely table free by the window so we sat there - I just don’t understand why the management don’t put a reserved sign out when you pre book - it seems that reserving doesn’t mean anything. The food, as usual was fine, except for a restaurant claiming to be French based, bread and olives don’t come gratis as in France. In addition, 12.5 % for service is a bit steep for a chain so I always pay the service separately and in accordance with the overall quality of the experience

As always, an excellent experience at Cote in Chislehurst. Service exemplary and food very good. Feel very lucky to have this restaurant in our village.

This restaurant looked after me and my guest from start to finish with total efficiency and, something that is often missing these days, a very warm and welcoming approach. The food was excellent. Loved it.

I was disappointed with my experience at Cote Brasserie. On arrival we ordered drinks and my wife asked for a Kir Royale. When it arrived it was very weak so we asked for a little more Crème de Cassis to be added but it wasn’t. It was returned with a little more Champagne, which made the drink even weaker. We then ordered Starters and Mains and whilst the quality of the Starters were acceptable; the Mains were not. All the hot food was served on plates that were so hot it was clear that they had spent a significant amount of time either under hot lamps or in ovens. This was also clear from the fact that the surface of the food was dried out and significantly over-cooked. Finally, the décor in the restaurant was so full of hard surfaces that it was almost impossible to talk to each other at the table; with even the waitering staff having difficulty making out our orders. After this experience I won’t go to another Cote Brasserie.

Cote was very helpful with accomodating our party and extending their Prestige menu after 7.00. We preordered our food. The food was great (apart from calamari which was overdone) and staff friendly and welcoming. However service was extremely slow. We were not sure if the delay was in the kitchen or not. We thought that the pre orders would mean a normal service but that was not the case. We sat down at 7.45 and starters were delivered 35 mins after drinks were served. Mains were delivered 40 minutes after that. For one guest who opted for no starter, she received no food until after 9, 1.15 hours after coming to the restaurant. Three people at the table often eat at Cote but found that the slow service was disappointing and unusual. We had to chase for our main courses. Despite this we had a great evening but we would probably not book as a large party again.
