Côte Chislehurst

no atmosphere, no loo roll!, one blocked loo, no cold prosecco, chips under-cooked, food cold, bad service will not be going back to Cote Chislehurst :-(

Great food, excellent service and a lovely ambiance. It was our Friday night treat this week and the restaurant lived up to expectations. We love Cote!!

Excellent prompt , friendly service and good food for a table of five plus a one year old. Attractive surroundings and atmosphere. Will go again

The menu had a good selection and was priced accordingly. Wine list was okay but some wines a bit pricey. Service from the server was appreciated being 'on the ball' asking how the food was during the meal.

It was good service and food. We enjoyed the evening. I didn't give it a six because it's not very cheap. We got there early but it quickly became very busy so obviously its popular. We will go again.

We were made to feel special from the moment we entered the restaurant. Our waitress (Olivia) looked after us the whole evening. The tables are not squashed together as in a lot of restaurants and the level of the background music was just right. Oh nearly forgot, the food was great! We’ll be back.

Excellent service. Ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Lamb rump delicious and the Haddock. Our French friends said the meal was superb and the best creme caaramel ever. Thank you Cote for another lovely evening.

Ever since Cote arrived in Chislehurst I have been a huge fan. Great food, varied menus, the ambience of Chislehurst Cote is very special. I had been to all Cotes in West End - Chislehurst has that very personal touch ! I have used it for coffee, lunch and dinner and it’s never disappointed. Long may it. Ontinue. Michele Zinopoulos

Always great service, one of my favourites. Always have steak - sadly on this occasion it was far too rare so couldn't eat most of it. Staff very apologetic and kindly removed this from the bill. Will not deter me from another visit, but next time will have medium rare !! Thanks

Very enjoyable lunch-we were not rushed as two of the guests arrived late. The main A la Carte menu could be changed. The food was nice and warm.

Another great evening at Cote, Chislehurst. Three beautifully prepared courses from the early evening menu. Great value a warm welcome, attentive staff and thanks for my birthday celebration drinks.

It was an excellent experience with very good service. The food was delicious and I'm sure that we will definitely return in the near future.

My husband & I went for Sunday lunch, the menu was varied & reasonably priced plus the service was good as the waitress was helpful & cheerful.

Friendly welcome and excellent service and food. The table that we requested was not available, and it was explained to us that it had been booked many weeks previously, so that was fine. The table that we were given was in a quiet position but we found that people were walking between our chairs and the wall, a narrow space, and it felt rather uncomfortable to have people walking behind us so closely as we ate. ( I moved my chair back and this helped.)

Great atmosphere, lovely cocktails and delicious food. Only niggle was that the service was a little slow, but it was a very busy night. Overall a brilliant night out.

We all 3 very much enjoyed our dining experience at Cote, Chislehurst last Thursday. From the moment we entered the restaurant we felt well taken care of. The member of staff was very patient when our guest was initially indecisive as to which table she wanted. The food was delicious and while service was attentive it wasn't annoying ie the pet bugbear of diners these days, of continually being asked if one is enjoying the dish/course, sometimes even when one is is mid-conversation of eating.

Welcomed by friendly staff in a pleasant restaurant was a good start. The food was "average" rather than "excellent" mainly due to over-cooking of the chicken.

We took friends (visiting from Ireland) to Cote Chislehurst last night. They hadn't been to Cote before. We had, as always, a really enjoyable evening - great welcome, complemented by a Kir Royale as I'm a rewards Member), fabulous food served by efficient and professional staff - and a lovely catch-up - my FAVE, FAVE, FAVE Restaurant. Am going again soon for my friend's Birthday ! Bon Appetit !

I enjoyed the perfect breakfast with a great friend. Great service, food very good although do Still wonder why the poached eggs are so small!

The food is loveky, but the service is painfully slow! Even for a Continental such as myself! We had to wait for half hour to get our plates cleaned up from our table. Further 15 minutes before we were even given our desserts menu

The service was not as usual, the waiter appeared to have forgotten us, didn’t know our individual orders and we served by another, dressed in black, who smelt he had just smoked a cigarette and also had his thumb in the salad. Not a great night at Cote Chislehurst!

Busy bistro/restaurant in the main Street of Chislehurst. We were greeted warmly, and declined the first table we were offered which didn’t cause a problem. Food was served quickly by an attentive waitress who was easily able to grasp that one of us didn’t want any dairy. The food itself was very good, without being Michelin star standard, but then the price was good too!

Great food served by courteous and competent staff in good surroundings very enjoyable experience thankyou seating was comfortable the lift was a good innovation no problem with access.

Excellent service - great food. Would certainly go again. When I settled the bill it would have been nice to have been told that gratuities were included as I ended up leaving nearly £13 in tips!

Been here a few times. They have a special 10th anniversary menu which has a decent range of starters, mains & desserts. Service was good, polte & food came within a reasonable time scale. They even gave us a doggy bag as hubby couldn't eat all his steak. The food was lovely although feel the starters are big si didn't eat all our mains but still made space for dessert. Would definitely go again.

A wonderful evening was had by all. We were given the table that is in its own little room but very much part of the restaurant, this was great as we had not seen each other for a while and were able to be very chatty and sometimes a little loud with out disturbing the other guests. Our waiter was very attentive recommending dishes and wine to compliment the food, the service was quick, food as always excellent and atmosphere great. Once again we were the last to leave , thank you for a special evening.

Family occasion We visited Côte to celebrate a 90th birthday. As usual Côte served up tasty well-priced food with excellent service. Thank you for making our day!
