Côte Chislehurst

It is a friendly, well run, comfortable, restaurant. The staff are brilliant, attentive but not over the top, and the food never fails, delicious and well presented, and you don't wait for ages between courses.

Our waiter, Paul, was so great and attentive! We celebrated my mums birthday and they made it a great occasion. Food is always dependable too!

As always beautiful service and food. Maybe we should venture to new restaurants, but if it ain’t broke,.....,

Nice people, good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Shame about the traffic and pouring rain though. Côte are always reliable as a venue and rarely let us down.

A great evening with friends, as always the service was excellent, the chicken was delicious and a wonderful choice of yummy puddings. Could not fault a thing . Best restaurant in Chislehurst.

Good food but slow service. Good ambiance but why such a slow service when the restaurant was very busy. Manager around but not doing much to help.

Very nice reception from staff. needed to change main course, steak which was more chewy than normal only to be advised that we had the last two steaks on the menu. Other than that god service . Will certainly return

The service was slow waited 40 min for our tea and when our breakfast came the toast arrived stone cold sent it back ! Not enough staff or not good management

Came here for Brunch today with 2 friends for a catch up. Food was very hot, well cooked and presented. Service was excellent. Can highly recommend Cote.

Chicken salad was a tad salty. Hate that they auto-add 12.5% tip and say you can ask to have it removed!! Makes a big difference.

The restaurant was very busy when we arrived but it was rather a long time waiting for a drink to be offered. When finally we ordered and the meals arrived one meal was wrong and had to be remade so consequently one member was without a meal for a time whilst the others had their meals. However the food was all very nice but service slightly let the restaurant down on this occasion.

Great for brunch, especially when the sun is shining and you can enjoy sitting outside. Their special brunch menu with coffee, juice and cooked breakfast is very good value and lots of healthy options on the menu.

Met friends for lunch yesterday and as usual the food and service was first class. Tried the new September prestige menu and it didn’t disappoint

The staff are polite and friendly. The restaurant is spacious, bright and clean. The food is lovely and portions are large. Recommend the breakfast deal!

Temp stairs in place not very safe, food was up to normal good standard and service as expected good standard. I will return again however

Our Food and table service was excellent . However, our arrival Greeting ( chap in a blue shirt ) was so disinterested ...didn’t really warn us or apologise for, the lack of actual staircase to the raised level where our table was ..we had to get our 80 year old mother up there ( and down again) he was then rude and ignored us when we asked him to bring the card machine ( which he was stood next to , next to our table !) to allow us to pay and leave ...rude and disinterested ! Very unlike Cote !! ☹️

Gorgeous food, great wine and a lovely atmosphere. Time after time it never disappoints. Comes highly recommended a absolute must try. The seasonal specials are always worth a try too.

This time was ok. I went with my best friend and I had the usual calamari which was perfect as always then I had the pork belly & mashed potatoes and I finally tried the chocolate fondant. I was not disappointed. The service was slower than usual I missed my bus home because our waiter took 10 mins to take out payment after giving us the bill . That’s all

We would have hoped to find the staff a little more pleasant. We didn't see a smiling face, and we didn't see anyone at all for some period during our breakfast. No one came to see if we were pleased with our meal, or to see if we needed anything more to eat or drink. The restaurant was not particularly busy, so we were curious as to why we were not made to feel more welcome.

Very tasty food at a reasonable price on the set menu, as is usual at Cote, and not over large portions, which is ideal for lunch. Efficient friendly service.

The food is of a. consistently high standard. The staff are always helpful, professional and courteous. I always enjoy eating here and would recommend it reservation.

Fabulous breakfast with really good quality ingredients. Excellent price would definitely recommend. Particularly the formule breakfast where you get a cooked breakfast plus orange/apple juice and either a tea or coffee for £10.50.

Service was slow. Had to flag attention to be served and then in between course it was a long wait. Toilets were dirty. Could do with a good clean. Food was lukewarm but ok

As usual a very good meal. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was great. Quieter than usual because it was the evening of Bank Holiday Monday, but still a good atmosphere.

Very good food and service. The only issue was that whenever you wanted the bill all the servers seemed to disappear so it takes ages to pay out

The service was exceptionally good on our recent visit last Saturday. In addition to the excellent food & drink. Cote is by far the best local restaurant.

Excellent food but very bad service. Nobody asked how the food was; we weren't offered further drinks and those that were eventually ordered took far too long to arrive; some lemon I asked for to accompany my main course didn't arrive at all. Staff were difficult to attract. We went at 6pm on a Thursday evening - hardly peak time, yet the place became very busy. You would have thought more staff would have been scheduled.

Me and my best friend had breakfast here today we always get the full breakfast and then the breakfast complet with pan au raisin, fruit salad and yogurt it was sooo good as always. Our waiter and waitress were very sweet and we received amazing service :)

The staff were helpful & friendly. The food was delicous, the scrambled egg was the best i have ever had in a restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Excellent service and food. Cote is our favourite restaurant chain with consistent results whether in suburbs or London. The back of the Chislehurst restaurant can have high noise levels but this time we were in the front, hence top marks.

Food was good, although they’d run out of my first choice main. Service was painfully slow. It wasn’t massively busy in there, not sure why they were so slow.

Great food and service . We went only for desert as I am crazy about the praline crêpe. It was nice as well to eat outside as the weather was great .

I have been many times and was a little disappointed as the waiter seemed to be new and took a long time to take our order - most unusual for Cote. On the booking I said it was late birthday meal - last time we got Kir royal on the house and a candle on my friends pud, together with singing happy birthday, but this time nothing ! Having said that food was excellent as ever. It’s still my favourite place in Chislehurst! Michele Z

The food was sooo good I always get the pork belly with cabbage and potato gratin and the little grapes in the cabbage literally fill me with joy 😆 And the dark chocolate mousse I was so scared to try because I thought it would be sooo rich but it wasn’t I loved it. Also thank you to the handsome waiter who got rid of the wasp which decided to fly into my drink 😒😅

The food was as good at lunchtime as it was when we dined here , in Chislehurst, recently one evening . The service was good but not intrusive .

Once again a wonderful evening at cotes, our waitress was brilliant she remembered us from our last visit and gave us fantastic service. Food was great, lovely atmosphere and excellent value for money.

Temperature very comfortable until they turned on the aircon. When will restaurants learn that (especially) older persons do not want to seat in a cold atmosphere to eat, and it prematurely cools the food. The outside temperature was just above 20C.
