Fantastic NYE menu with wine pairings. Enjoyed it a lot and will probably do it again next NYE

Only used Coates once in the past but our recent experience was fantastic thank you so much the food and service was spot on

Very attentive and (genuinely) friendly staff. The food was delicious although the apple crumble dessert was not up to what I was expecting. The 'crumble' part of it could have been better but nothing to take away from the whole experience of a very delightful evening out, especially as it was a birthday celebration. And very good value! Just thought I would point out: the one-star rating given for 'Waiting Times' and 'Noise Level' is to indicate that we were NOT inconvenienced by either of these.

It was our 32nd wedding anniversary and great food and service in Cote helped us celebrate it. Our meals were first class and service was quick and mannerly. Although we don't live in Chislehurst we regard it as our favourite local restaurant. We feel comfortable there and valued as regular customers. We'd have preferred to sit in the back room but understood that it was more sensible to give us a small table in the 'corridor'. It was Christmas Eve and the joint was jumping!

Cote is always good value and the stay are great. But, they did seem to be down on the number of staff, which meant we waited nearly an hour for our main course. It would have been better if someone had come and explained what was going on. But, otherwise, all good.

We enjoyed the food, our waiter was very nice and friendly. Two of the formula breakfast came with toast at the end of the breakfasts, there was one piece of toast left, my friend asked for jam to finish it off and we got charged for toast and jam, instead of just jam, my two friends didn’t want to make a fuss as we had already been given the wrong bill and everyone was looking at us as it caused a bit of a scene backwards and forwards they felt a bit embarrassed so just let it go. As they thought people thought we had not given enough money for our bill. But we will use cote again

Bad service wrong order served Chateubriaud served medium not medium rare I am a regular at this restaurant and it was the worst service ever. I had to leave the table and ask for children’s menus and water I have booked for Boxing Day and hope the service and orders improve

We booked a table for 24 at Cotes to Celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and had an excellent meal. The food was great and the service impeccable. This a very good restaurant. James Heath

The staff are always so friendly and take time to check we are happy. They also engage with our young daughter which makes the whole experience an enjoyable one.

As usual another amazing meal which we all thoroughly enjoyed ( 7 people) Our waiter ( sorry, didn’t get his name) was so efficient & fantastic at his job, even better he gave us a free bottle of bubbly 🍾 & arranged for 3 fruit salads for dessert which is not on menu. Thankyou Cote

Service was poor, always having to try and catch the eye of the waiter or waitress, never on the ball keeping an eye out if glasses are empty or food finished perhaps just under staffed !! Food very nice - no pink gin !! And asked for something special when I booked by phone as my daughters 18th and got nothing even though we had cards and presents at the table - staff didn’t even acknowledge it was her birthday - doesn’t take much to wish someone happy birthday .....over all very dissatisfied

I booked a very specific table to celebrate my friend’s birthday on 17th December (booked online with a request to book a table in closed area) and we had a brunch. The staff were super flexible, friendly, polite and professional. We enjoyed our food and the birthday girl really loved it when the multiple staff brought her a dessert with a candle singing birthday song to her. Even it was before noon they managed to get a chocolate fondant for her (and didn’t charge us!!) and also put the cupcakes that I brought in the restaurant on the nice plate. It was a lovely lovely morning. All the staff who served us were very friendly and calm even the restaurant was getting so busy towards the lunch time. Thank you so much for your lovely great service. Six stars for the service is not enough for rating!!

I always enjoy Cote at Chislehurst , I have been here a number of times including my 60th birthday celebration last year .This visit was no exception and the food and service were great !!

The food we had was delicious and it was hot, I could not fault it. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will recommend the restaurant to friends. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a really good experience.

service poor. we asked for a quiet table so were seated in front window by main desk. It would have been quiet apart from the noise of the staff who were talking loudly and moaning to each other about the job which is not very professional.. Service was poor as normally our drinks order is taken quickly but we were seated at least 10 mins before anyone appeared.

Our visit today was OK but less successful than previously. Noise levels were high and staff seemed stretched despite working very hard. One chicken main was dry and while 2 others were fine, we cut short our visit and returned home for coffee. We will go again and put this down as an anomaly.

Had a wonderful birthday meal yesterday at Cote Brasserie, Chislehurst. I had complimentary Kir Royales which was kindly arranged through head office as I had accidentally deleted my birthday email which was very kind and I wanted a dessert which was only on the Christmas set menu which I wasn’t having but they accommodated me without any problem thank you for such great service, yummy food and lovely ambience! Will always return to Chislehurst!

We had a nice evening celebrating my daughters 16th birthday ! The staff were amazing & even brought out a cake & sang happy birthday & made it special.

Really nice meal. Busy Friday evening, but sometime hard to be heard over the noise.

Lovely food and helpful staff but the restaurant is SO noisy and it wasn't even half full. The hard surfaces on walls, floor and ceiling don't help and the tables are so close together you can hear all the conversations, spoilt the lunch experience. I do object to the 12.5% service charge, 10% should be plenty.

2 adults 3 kids. Food very good and tasty. Love the bread. Only let down was there was no mussels that was on the menu which was disappointing. Very pleasant and helpful waitress.

We have been eating here for many years now but tonight’s combination was the best yet. Salade de crevettes and scallops and boudin noire was evening wonderful! More please.

Had a great time - we were given a booth as requested, food great - both had salads - one had chicken and walnut - the other goats cheese - very hearty salads, good fresh ingredients, glass of wine plus coffee. Bit of a wait for coffee but we didn't mind as we had a lot to talk about! Staff very friendly as usual.
