Côte Cheltenham

Our first meal back since the lockdown and it was so nice to be back.

We’ve always had a great time at Cote, big tonight was our first time that wasn’t great. We took the children with us for a family meal, first time since lockdown as children have been nervous. My son wasn’t great with his burger & my pork belly wasn’t good. My husband & my daughter loved their meals

The service was excellent and the food delicious. Only problem was difficulty hearing each other (but we were lucky as were given quieter table) and limited menu for white meat /vegetarian customers.

Shame there’s no toilets downstairs as you do feel like your getting in the way of the staff up and down with trays

I was disappointed with the first bowl of bread we were given, it was hard and unenjoyable. I was also disappointed with the risotto. Very poor quality and not what I would expect from Cote. The menu had a disappointing and limited vegetarian choice in my opinion. Where were the mushroom crepes for example? I was surprised at the cleaning I observed. I felt that the cursory wipe over I noticed was not sufficient in this pandemic.

Very efficient and friendly service from the staff and a nice atmosphere.

All round good, a very enjoyable meal with good service.

Don’t go out very often to eat with kids (2 and 5 years) at 5pm but on the occasions we do Cote have mainly been our preferred option. The service is always fantastic with friendly, helpful, accommodating staff who’re great with kids. They bring out an activity pack for kids too with pencils, stickers, puzzles. Food always to a high quality although on this occasion the belly of pork was a little dry and crackling lacked the crackle - it was still very tasty and all went down a treat. We really enjoyed our 1st meal out since lockdown. We both felt very safe & the staff looked after us very well.

Lovely meal overall but lobster expensive for size, frites portions small & not enough vegetables included in a la carte menu, most vegetables are charged as extras.

Very attentive staff and obliging. Good service and in general a thoroughly pleasant experience.

It was good to return to Cote after several months, once seated it was just as if we had not been away. The staff were as friendly as before and all wore PPE which made us feel comfortable. The food was as good as we remembered. We will resume our regular visits!

Took Mum out for her first meal since lock down. It was lovely. Spacing good, staff efficient and attentive and food lovely. We will be coming again.

Good on the whole. Sorry the 2/3 course normal menu was not available. It’s a good deal and a consistent attraction for me. Good service. Nice staff. Steak a bit chewy unlike normal. Everything else fine. Thanks

Very good experience. Staff very friendly and efficient, dealing well with necessary vivid protocols. Easy booking. Food came a little too quickly but a minor point as it was excellent. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely lunch, delicious food, tables nicely spaced out and staff respectful of social distancing. So glad they're open again. Highly recommend.

Menu very limited for vegans that wasn’t explained on website. In fact there wasn’t anything except salads!!! No hand wash that I could see in toilets only hand sanitizer as I wanted both. Waitress very helpful and pleasant.

The waiter who served us was superb - friendly and attentive. The food was well-seasoned, but largely mediocre and more attention could be given to sourcing better ingredients across the board. The restaurant was a bit too quiet in terms of noise/atmosphere, but that's perhaps understandable given the current situation of being in a pandemic.
