Great dinner here on a busy Saturday evening. Food and wine were lovely and a great choice of gluten free options. Service was quick and efficient. Bustling atmosphere.

Good food at a reasonable price for the set daily menu would have been a 6 but got starter order wrong and I don't like the optional service charge being added to the bill

Great food choice & service. Not especially expensive - especially if you can get the pre 7pm menu. Nice ambience, attentive waiters. Would recommend to anyone.

The food was original, exquisitely prepared and plentiful! The service couldn't be faulted. I've been to a number of top end restaurants in Cheltenham and this is the best. You get more than you pay for in my opinion! It beats some other, more exclusive Promenade restaurants, hands down!! This was my second visit...I'll be back!!

Fantastic meal of sea bass and then apple crumble accompanied by a glass of lovely house red. Very charming and efficient Romanian waiter. Looking forward to my next visit. Thankyou for making our evening such an enjoyable one.

As regular diners at Cote, we were disappointed with the slow service we received last night, including two of six meals arriving ten minutes behind the others. This is a first but I strongly feel it needs to be fed back. Hopefully the good service we are used to will return on our next visit.

Great food and service. Definitely worthy of their prices. The atmosphere was appropriate too. Their wine selection is simply outstanding and they also have an offer from Sunday to Thursday.

Easy reservation. Attentive service. Excellent food overall with a tasty vinaigrette dressing on plentiful asparagus. Chargrilled chicken tasted of BBQ with tender dauphinois potatoes. The crême brûlée is always sublime. A small criticism was that the asparagus needed to be peeled as some (only a few) stalks were a bit stringy on the outside. However at c £35 for two people including coffee I reckon this lunch deserves a five star rating.

We had the set menu. The food was dull and not cooked properly. The steak and veg were tough and inedible, particularly the veg. Soup OK.

Dined with overseas visitors.. First time they have experienced Cote. They can't remember a franchise in New Zealand but said they would seek one out. Do you have a Cote in Christchurch NZ. Excellent before theatre dinner in Cheltenham.

I love the cote brassiere so I always leave good reviews or tell my friends to go there. But this time, I realised that if you want to have really good foods, you need to choose from a la carter menu then you won't disappointed. When this time around, we had early bird menu which are around £ 11 for 2 courses which are not too bad price if the food standard is little bit higher. The starter was tasteless and chicken was dry. So I was wondering why? I have figured out because of early bird menu. I was a bit disappointed. Hope they put same effort to cook a la carter menu to the early bird menu.

The food was not as high quality or tasted as good as other Cote restaurants we have been to. The service was also extremely slow.

The overall experience was good. However, although we specifically asked for bottled mineral water and not the free filtered variety, the waiter brought both and when asked to remove the filtered he left it on the table. We had a long wait for our main courses and one meal had clearly been hanging around, overdone asparagus. We then waited a long time for dessert but the Manageress struck the cost of that from the bill.

Had an enjoyable lunch at Côte - food and service excellent and a nice ambience. Only down side being that the dining room is noisy - not that the other lunch guests were being unduly so - it's all to do with the furnishings and hard surfaces which don't absorb sounds. Definitely worth a return visit.

The food was tasty & well cooked but over-priced. I object to paying extra for standard vegetables. The double whammy was a 12 1/2% service charge added to the bill. I doubt I shall return.

Our group visits the Cote once a month, but this time we were a little disappointed with the cuisine. The calamari portions were small and the Croque Monsieur was too tough. The vegetarian main course was limited to a salad with too much lettuce. However, we like the venue and the staff are always attentive.

We booked for dinner at Cote Brasserie Cheltenham as we were going to the theatre, so were reserved for 6pm. We were greeted at the door and taken straight to our table. We ordered off the early-bird specials menu, which is available before 7pm on weekdays. This represented such excellent value for money as the food was excellent. Between the three of us we had the mushroom brioche and tuna rilletes to start, which were delicious. For mains we had the grilled chicken, smoked Hake and chickpeas and the Haddock Parmentiere, plus a bottle of the house wine. The food was absolutely divine and the service was excellent. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive. Plus there is a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. It was busy, but not too loud and just generally buzzing. It was exceptional food and exceptional value and I would not hesitate to return again.

The restaurant looks attractive and the service was friendly and not rushed which we appreciated. Unfortunately one main course was served which was the wrong order, so that had to go back. It was taken off our bill which was good but nevertheless it was a bit disappointing having to wait for the correct meal to arrive. The vegetarian menu is extensive but unfortunately most items were a little bland, hence only 3 stars (most of our party were vegetarian or vegan).
