Lunchtime three course menu - great value, quality and service. The only area for improvement was the apple crumble desert. The apples were a bit too sweet and there would have been a better balance of flavours with the already sweet crumble if they had a sharper, more tart taste to them. Will be back to Cote soon and looking forward to trying their breakfast.
Good food and good service. The early bird menu is great value. We have never been disappointed with Cote in Cheltenham. We will be back.
Initial service too slow and staff not very friendly. Need to start serving customers more quickly especially with drinks and starters. Food good when it arrived
Very good service, and a great meal at excellent value for money. We hadn't realised that there was an "early bird" menu, so were pleasantly surprised, particularly since it carried an interesting and varied selection.
Excellent food and service, in an interesting setting with a lively atmosphere. The location in Cheltenham's Montpellier district is perfect for a night out, with friends or family.
Excellent service from entering the restaurant until leaving and the food was really good and well presented. I will definitely be returning in the very near future.
Nice food and good service. The food was promptly served, it was hot and delicious. There was a good choice on the menu. The restaurant was very buzzy. Nice evening.
Early menu before 7pm has great choice and is super value. The food was excellent - mum said that it was the best meal she has had in ages. There is a really good atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming.
Delicious breakfast and very pleasant waitress but we waited a long time for the breakfast juices, fruit salad arrived same time as the cooked breakfast. I think only one waitress was on and she had to deal with a delivery. Sonot a criticism of her at all - more a reflection of how restaurant is managed. Food superb and will definitely visit again
Food was poor and pretty bland. It was also expensive, for example a standard meat and potato dish doesn't come with veg, you have to pay extra! service was slow and miserable
Went out with my family for a borthday meal with a group of 7. Great location, food & service. Am sure I will return for another visit.
Excellent food and ambience,.. Staff always warm and friendly despite being exceptionally busy. Very varied choice of menu, and never been disappointed. Like sitting upstairs
I object to a 'voluntary' service charge, although I would (and did) pay the same. The food was excellent, service also friendly and efficient. ...........
Very good food and service, we would certainly visit the restaurant again, and recommend it to our friends and family, Thankyou for a lovely evening!
The meal was perfect with a lovely ambience. One of the party has specific food allergies and the staff couldn't be more accommodating. Will definitely go back.
The service was slow, the food was somewhat bland, sadly some of the staff are very difficult to understand and the restaurant was really noisy.
You will always received a warm welcoming from a team of ever so friendly staff! The service are always spot on and always delivered and I have never been disappointed with the food!
Excellent food and wine as always in your Cheltenham restaurant. Staff are always a delight as well. Thank you once again, we will be back.
Very noisy customer speaking loudly on his computer. He was only interested in what he was doing but he was annoying other customers including us. It should be banned during meal times. If my wife had not been with me I would have left before lunch.
The food is delicious but for us where we were seated was too noisy. We were at the back downstairs. Otherwise all was good. Thanks
The food was very good and the service excellent. Wee have been to Cote several times and found evening food better than lunchtime. Will go again.
We normally visit Cote at the weekend when the fixed menu is unavailable. However, we had it on Bank Holiday Monday and we were very impressed by its quality and value for money. As always the service at Cote was excellent.
Pre-festival supper:. quiet enough for a chat. The special menu is wide enough and reasonably priced. The sea bass was fine, but my side salad was old and limp - and the dressing was salty and unpleasant. Manager, please tell your staff to stop asking if the meal is ok: we were interrupted twice within 5 seconds by different waiters. It is really irritating!
very good, suits a family with older children. private areas even tho' busy on a Saturday night. nice seasonal menu, will go again, well managed
Very busy and buzzing placing on Friday evening. As a result the table service was not up to standard certainly not for 12.5% gratuity so I adjusted this. Food was excellent.
Birthday meal celebrating a 21st. Good service and good food. We also found it to be good value as well. Most of us are vegetarians and we particularly appreciated the range of choices.
Once again another enjoyable meal at Cote Brasserie , good service, good food in pleasant surroundings, will definitely be booking another visit soon . Looking forward to seeing next months menu.
Good welcome, table not ready (we were 15 mins early) so we waited maybe 5 mins and were seated in main area as requested. Took a fair while to get drinks - had to remind the server, but food service good, food excellent, loyalty reward of two kir royals went down well. Altogether very successful experience.
I can't fault the service or the food. The only criticism I have is that on the night we went it was very noisy & my partner & I had a job to hear each other's conversation.
We had a delicious lunch, food has always been excellent. Staff very friendly and service great. A great place to eat for a very reliable and delicious meal.
Very pleasant experience. The service was very polite and professional. The food excellent. Didn't have to wait long. We definitely recommend and will return shortly.
We had another lovely meal at Cote,Cheltenham. We have been many times now and we have never been let down on any score. The food, ambience, excellent staffing skills, second to none. Many thanks,Tom and Amanda
Professional waiters, lovely food, good wine at a reasonable price. I would come back any time and I would recommend anyone to visit Cote Cheltenham.
Four of us for dinner, the service was great, my food was lovely, im gluten free. The sharing steak was not enjoyed by the others so much
Excellent food, excellent service - as ever! Both had the breton fish stew which was beautiful as was the company. Looking forward to our next visit!
Sublime. Absolutely exquisite, perfectly cooked cuisine, delicious and very reasonably priced wines, and the dessert was simple but spectacular ( a crepe chantilly with strawberries). The real win, though, was the staff looking after us: these people were offering a masterclass in attentive, friendly but non-intrusive service. Couldn't fault a thing, and will definitely be back. The booking service is great, too: simple to use and fast. Three very satisfied customers - thank you.
I love my local Cote. Always a warm welcome, lovely staff and the food is always up to standard. Very reliable. Also, good decor and atmosphere. Would always recommend.
Excellent meal. A great selection on the menu. Attentive staff and quality producae. Each course was enjoyed and ended with a lovely cup of coffee. We'll be back!
Great food as always. Good service, great atmosphere and everybody was in good spirits a lovely way to spend an evening, central location helps as well.
My reservation was for 18.45 on Friday and the restaurant was pretty busy but nevertheless, my guests and I received prompt and excellent service. The waitress who served us was very polite really attentive. The food was also delicious. I've been to Cotes Cheltenham several times and the quality of the service and food has never disappointed me.
Although the place was nearly full the service and and food were both very good. We particularly enjoyed the. Vichychoise soup and the creme caramel.
I always find this restaurant offers good food, well cooked and presented in an enjoyable atmosphere. The service is good. It's great to have a reliably enjoyable restaurant on my doorstep!
Great food and service would highly recommend. Had the pork Belly and I have to say it's the best I have ever had from any restaurant
Very nice food from the set menu. The service was very good, although there was a delay with one meal, but that was kindly deducted from the bill.
Excellent meal this evening, again Thank you for good food; great service; and lovely atmosphere Nice end to the bank holiday we will definitely be back
Delicious food from start to finish, a great location and fantastic service. A really lovely meal out for all. We will definitely go back again.
As usual the restaurant was very busy --service was very good -although you seem to have a lot of new faces. Last night we had a problem with your asparagus-very unusual to find it had been split down the middle and it was very fibrous -difficult to chew and even to cut. The waiter replaced my wife's asparagus but it was still not fresh and was below your normal standard. The cost was taken off the bill even though we had not asked for it to be cancelled. Someone needs to look into this -is it the supplier or the cooking? The sea bass was excellent . Regards Barry Taylor
Nice food good service. Found the portions sizes for the veg a little small and it was quite noisy but it was a Saturday night. However that said I would go again.
This restaurant is obviously very successful and reservations are a must. The choices on the menu are numerous and varied. There should be something for everyone. At this time of the year, the fresh asparagus is an excellent choice both as a starter or main course. We visited this time with friends and we all enjoyed the food. The service was also good, although a tad slow. Our only gripe with this restaurant is the constant noise level which arises from three points: a) the height of the ceiling, b) the wooden flooring and, worst of all, c) the fact that we Brits now regard it as 'normal' to talk in loud voices and laugh raucously. A great pity. The bill, with wine, three courses each worked out at £30+ per person. We will be back.
As usual exemplary service and atmosphere. My party enjoyed the evening , BUT my starter of asparagus was truly awful. It was obviously not fresh, had been split longitudinally and was stringy and unpleasant to eat...... the saving grace was the vinaigrette which made it just about palatable. Everyone did however enjoy their main course.
