We always find the Cote Cheltenham relaxed with a great choice of food which changes more regularly than some of the other well known restaurants. Besides this the food is very enjoyable, good flavour, taste, quality, quantity are all just perfect and we have never had a anything to reserve comment on! We will always use the Cote as our Children also enjoy their food. Keep up the good work Cote' Regards Nick Chin
Prompt and friendly service. Good food. The menu has plenty of choice. Must give a special mention for the desserts, especially the creme caramel which is ultra yummy.
Very very slow service. Food was ok but had to wait so long in between courses. Not enough waiters to attend to customers. Won’t be eating there again .
as ever, a warm welcome and good food and service. The complimentary aperitif added to the enjoyment of our visit. looking forward to our next visit!
Made you very welcome. Food was excellent, recommend the Pork Belly! Nice surroundings, efficient service. Really enjoyable experience, would highly recommend trying a night out here.
Breakfast menu has a nice variety and is available until 12 noon. French toast was lovely and accompanied by a generous fruit salad with papaya, kiwi and two types of melon. Coffee was good too.
Lovely attentive service by friendly staff! The food was hot and plentiful, really love the coffee here, it’s much better than the High Street chains! Nothing is too much trouble and I can’t wait to return!
Our regular for a nice meal locally...always pretty good. Bit of an issue this visit with a lack of fresh bread which only arrived half way through main but deducted from bill.
5 - superb service and excellent food + complimentary apperetifs. Would have rated 6, but my wife's main dish of Moulle Meunière contained 8 empty mussel shells! And
The three of us enjoyed a very relaxed breakfast. The ambience was very good, the food was well presented.Good quality fresh produce.Attentive service.Good location close to Monpellier.
Excellent food, both the appetizer and the main. Always consistently good. Never had a bad meal there. Also like the way the menu has a few different specials which changes each month
Always excellent food, service & value for money. Never disappointed & one again Cote lived up to the usual high standards. Thanks for a great evening
Very good lunch, it was busy but the service and staff were attentive and friendly. The food is always reliably good and the Crème caramel is excellent a must have.
We had a very enjoyable meal and the service was extremely effecient, both drinks and food arrived within 5-10 minutes of placing our orders. Highly recommend the Milanese, it was delicious!
We were a table of four and our overall experience was 4 but for one person who ordered a green salad as a starter which arrived so soaked in vinaigrette it couldn't be finished. The main course off the set menu was grilled haddock mash and peas....the fish was dry and overcooked and swimming in liquid which obviously came from the peas which had not been thoroughly drained. Having had exactly the same main course the week before (at Chelenham) which had been faultless). My husband & I are devotees of Cote and we were greatly surprised and disappointed in the difference in a week between an excellent lunch, supported by first class front of house, to be followed a week later by one very poor meal (there were absolutely no complaints from the other 3 diners but 2 of them were guests which was why I felt unable to complain at the time). Finally, when the bill was presented and the waitress was asked to split it 50/50 she said she couldn't (the total was £138.46) and she made one bill out for £70 and the other for £69.00 - presumably, as 12.50% service charge was included this was a crafty way of gaining a little more - and her manner was brusque and she could have benefitted from some charm lessons - unlike the previous week's equivalent member of staff who was exemplary. We are lunching in Cheltenham with friends again this coming week but we are not prepared to risk a return visit to Cote - a decision about which we are very sad.
Good, hearty food inspired by French cuisine. It’s a chain with a vast menu and a focus on consistency. Not as original as an independent but honest food at a reasonable price.
The Cote Brasserie at Cheltenham again was top class, with friendly service and good food. Setting is also ambient and relaxing. Only criticism; all their restaurants have removed our favourite dessert from the menu!!
Lovely chicken on the specials menu. The green beans were tasteless and grey. We refused to pay for them snd this was accepted by Cote without question.
as always, excellent. delicious food and drink with excellent service. this really is the best value for money around. Cote is reliably good where ever we've tried it, London, Leeds, Birmingham, Norwich!
Busy evening in the restaurant. Although it was 20 mins until we were served a drink - including the complimentary water - the food was good and the staff friendly and helpful. Bacon-wrapped cod on the specials menu was flaky, tender and delicious.
Never disappointed with a visit to Cote our favourite go to place to eat. Service and food always exceptional. On a hot Thursday evening air conditioning so welcome!
Really lovely food with polite attentive staff exceptional value for money nothing too much trouble would recommend this restaurant can’t Waite to go back soon
As always we have enjoyed our visit to Cote. The food and service were great. We plan to come back very soon. Keep up the good work.
Food ver good but rather limited menu in our price range. Nice waitress service. Next time we will view the menue options on the web before deciding to come.
Good and timely service, food good and served efficiently, good value for money. Did no feel rushed or staff wanted the our party to leave.
Good food - excellent people with a great focus on customer service - complimentary tap water - well selected wines - busy with a nice atmosphere
Excellent quick attentive service, delicious food as always. I have brought friends for a meal and recommended Cote to others who also enjoyed the experience.
Enjoyed our visit to Cote brasserie, the staff very polite and attentive, the food and drink was excellent in a very cosy restaurant, would thoroughly recommend
Always consistently good. Lovely food and polite attentive service. Never had a bad meal here. For a "chain" restaurant it is a cut above. Recommended.
Excellent meal and well looked after. Fillet steak the best that I have tasted since the last visit there. Looking forward to going again soon.
A lovely meal. Attentive, helpful staff. It was a birthday celebration and we all received a complimentary kir royale. Thank you, your efforts were appreciated and contributed towards a great night. Only bugbear was the aircon could have been much cooler.
My wife and I had two very good three course lunches. My soup was excellent and my wife s starter also good We both had the fish pie which unfortunately was rather bland However the sweets were very good. Excellent staff.
The food was excellent as was the service. Very reasnobly priced. gluten free friendly. Nice to go somewhere and get steak cooked the way you asked. We will definatly return again!
We experienced Good service and good food. They even placed us at a table we had requested with a window view. Lovely complementary cocktail too.
Good service, consistently great tasting food and a relaxed ambience. This is one of the best restaurants in Cheltenham. Highly recommend for a consistently good dining experience.
As always the food (well priced) and service were excellent. We will return very soon. It’s one of our favourite places to go to and enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner. Brigitte
Always a pleasant experience. The restaurant was busy - which is a good sign. The special set menu is excellent value. We had quite a wait for our food but good when it arrived.
This is a great restaurant with lovely food. Paying the bill took some time but the restaurant was very busy, good to see on a Monday evening
Excellent customer care very friendly. I booked online and said It was my hubbys birthday and they brought out a free dessert and birthday card - lovely surprise
Superb breakfast perfectly cooked and quality ingredients. Coffee excellent so much better than coffee shop chains, absolutely wonderful staff nothing was too much trouble. Overall faultless, great experience. Wish we lived in Cheltenham and could visit Cote more often.
Very enjoyable meal - good service. Although it is part of a chain the atmosphere is always good and the food well cooked. Seared tuna was superb.
Pleasant welcome, attentive staff, and food good value for money. We have not been disappointed at this restaurant and will continue to patronise it until???
Great Service and Great food. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the wine outstanding. We have come to expect a lovely meal out, and have never been disappointed What more could you ask?
Great food, good range of French classics and lovely wines, staff attentive and friendly. A little pricey but definitely worth it for a treat. Give it a go.
We always look forward to our visits to Cote Cheltenham and have never been disappointed - relaxing ambience, delicious food, lovely folk. See you again soon!
Good meal, great wine. Excellent, attentive and quick service even though it was very busy. We had a nice evening and enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommended. Could do with some acoustic design updates to dampen noise-levels.
Lively but pleasant atmosphere, good quality food and service. Daily specials menu always good value but plenty of options on the main menu as well.
Service good but second time in a row that the steak was not cooked. It was over done & dry - shame. Explained it to them and they said you should have said earlier we’d have got you another one , but this happened last visit
I booked online a couple of days before for a group of us and ended up being shown to what I could only describe as a small cupboard like room at the back of the restaurant away from all others...except for two older ladies who were enjoying a quiet meal - thankfully after expressing my dislike at being in a room with no atmosphere we were relocated but I can't think why we were put there in the fist place as I did not express total seclusion on my online booking. The food however was excellent, it did take rather a long time, in all we were there for a two course meal and left after 2 and a half hours which made us slightly late for the next event. There were a few mistakes but the staff were very friendly and did everything to put them right and tried very hard to make things better. We had a lovely meal, it was a special celebration dinner but I just think that it could have gone slightly better compared to other Cote's we have visited ...too many to mention as we love Cote.
AS usual ,a very nice pleasant meal with friendly service and for two reasons ,small issues were dealt with promptly and no fuss. I am unable to eat or drink grapefruit so the spritzi was immediately changed to a white prosecco. when the bill came I was charged for the complimentary drinks. A quiet word with the waiter and it was corrected with apologies and with good grace. Well done ,and we will come again.
