Côte Cheltenham

On December 30 th 2018 my family and I enjoyed high quality food and drink well presented in a comfortable and welcoming restaurant aided by a friendly and efficient waiter- service.

Good attentive service and good standard of food! This place rarely lets you down!

What a wonderful lunch,food excellent, attentive staff, and ambiance. Thank you to all the staff. We are going again. My mother-in-law was blown away. Loved the mirrors.

Love the ambience of this restaurant, but waited a long time for service. Disappointed that two of us had to ask for a change in fries because they weren’t hot enough, but we all enjoyed our meals in the end. Prefer not to have to pay quite a bit extra for a side to complete a meal, as I think this should be included. However, we did enjoy our evening.

We go out for breakfast every year on Christmas Eve . This our second year at Côte . The greeting was warm and friendly . The service was excellent , attentive but not overpowering . The food was amazing , we had the French breakfast . And the coffee , well I am a coffee snob and have to say the cappuccino was superb . The price , well very reasonable for the quality . I would highly recommend this restaurant .

Fab visit. Not disappointed. Food was tasty. Love that they still do their set menu in December unlike other chains who try to increase the prices just because it’s Christmas

Friendly staff, lovely food and atmosphere. I decided to come to Cote bringing a couple of old friends who I hadn’t seen for nearly two years - we had a fantastic meal of french soup, steak and fish pie, all of which were delicious.

A gorgeous evening experience for me and my wife. Moules, lamb parmentier - pity the pain perdu was not available as dessert but we'll be back for New Year's Eve.

lovely food and overall restaurant but abrupt waitress who repeatedly interupted conversations in a very rude, shouty way and also snatched menu's from our hands almost getting someone in the eye

Very friendly staff and good service, we where a party of 7 all the starters and main courses where good, sadly to full after that for desserts. We will be back again soon.

We were in Cote with friends and had an excellent meal, service was very good too. My husband had fillet steak and said it was the best he has ever had which is something from him!!

Great steaks, much better quality and flavour and significantly cheaper than the nearby Ivy restaurant. A lovely experience only compromised by slightly slow delivery of food. Staff friendly and helpful.

As always a fabulous evening, lovely food, faultless service, just make you feel one of the family and nothing is too much trouble. One of my regular places to eat with friends and family.

Service was a little slow and mains came whilst we were still finishing starter but food was nice and I like the ambience of the restaurant.

As usual, service was prompt and courteous, food was delicious. There was a slight problem with the bill but it was soon sorted out. Great value for money

Sufficient diners ona Sunday evening to provide a good atmosphere. Service good. I chose a chicken dish as a main off their early bird diner menu. It was ok but it was basically roast chicken on the bone with chips! My friend's salmon dish off the main menu looked much nicer.

Great atmosphere and.friendly welcome. Attentive service but not intrusive. A wide ranging menu .Good choices on the set lunch menu. Reasonably priced wines. Not rushed away from the table.

The starters were satisfactory but the main course were very dry and cold, looked like they had been cooked and then left under a heating lamp for some time before being taken to the table. They were replaced after some time when we complained but the joy of the meal had been lost. They did not charge us foe the main course.

Excellent food and wine. Very busy and found it quite noisy and the staff were consequently rather busy. Will go again but might think about choosing a quieter time.

Wonderful meal for six. One of our party lived in France and commented on the food being the most authentic he had tasted outside of France! The mains all came out piping hot on a busy Saturday night and the staff were all very friendly and efficient.

Initial experience good and order taken reasonably quickly.Food was up to usual standard.One of our party did not have a starter but when the rest of us had finished our main courses she wished to order a dessert.In all fairness the restaurant was getting quite busy at this time but after a long wait no one came to take an order and we decided we had to leave.My wife approached a member of staff and to their credit it was decided to adjust the bill accordingly and we had no complaints about how this was done-we had ordered from the set lunch menu. It was a shame that the good service did not continue to the end of the meal.

Delicious food (wonderful sea bream) and good service at a very busy lunch sitting at Cote Cheltenham - the restaurant was full of diners anticipating Christmas

Another very enjoyable supper at Cote Cheltenham. The welcome was warm and we thoroughly enjoyed our dishes from the November Prestige menu, the mussels and sea bass were excellent. We will be back!

We had a most enjoyable lunch. Although the restaurant was very busy the staff were very attentive and we did not have to wait long for our food which was delicious, as always.

The restaurant is gorgeous, the food is great and the staff are all super friendly! A great time was had by all, will definitely be coming back

We had a great evening , food and service both really good. There was a real buzz with race goers there that night , a fun time.

We have visited Cote Brasserie in Montpelier,Cheltenham on many occasions.Once again we had a really lovely evening.The food and ambience was top class (as usual) We will return,Tom Madden

Here in the Cheltenham Cote we found there were all new staff since our last visit (it seemed) but just as friendly and efficient as ever.

Very disappointed. Had the £18.95 early menu. The Roquefort salad starter was terrible, hardly any Roquefort and walnuts and the dressing was bland. The main course of pork tenderloin was nothing special. Celeriac mash had zero flavour of celeriac, was just mostly potato. The jus was sparse, so all in all a very disapponting meal.

Have been to this restaurant quite a few times always enjoyed the experience in fact i have booked to go back Christmas time with friends.Service was quite slow to start off with yesterday but once food ordered it picked up.Very friendly staff make you feel welcome,

Three menus to select from - all items available - the food (as always) was well prepared and delicious. Add the friendly and efficient waiter service (well worth the 12.5% service charge) and it was a great dining experience.

Good and unflustered service at a busy time. Food delicious for all three of us.Booking was very straightforward, and this is one of our favourite places for a pre-theatre or concert meal.

Restaurant was busy but service was till quick and efficient. The sea bass was very tasty, and the apple crumble (served with ice cream) was delicious

Meal was slow to arrive & it didnt seem as fresh as usual. Staff looked messy - what has happened to the lovely long crisp black aprons & white shirts?! Shame.

Tha manager welcomed us and said he will be back in a few minutes however he didn’t and spent the entire time talking loudly with a couple sitting across from us. When we left he was still talking loudly with them. The waitress offered him a chair and took the dirty plates he had been holding for at least 10 minutes we thought it was rude and very poor customer practice to engage entirely with two customers at the expense of other. We will stick to the Ivy in future a better class of staff and breakfast too!

Excellent food. Excellent service - as always Côte provides the best ‘chain’ restaurant experience on the high street. The key is consistency- and Côte have worked out how to deliver a great meal regardless of which restaurant in the chain you try!

Lovely food and the choice means something for everyone. Pretty good wine list, very pleasant staff and a buzzy atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely return.

Good food at a good price. The staff are always very welcoming and helpful. The only downside is the noise level. As the decor is all hard surfaces it can be rather noisy.

Much better than last weeks meal. This time tried the cheaper specials menu, this time I found the food better and obviously better value. Service was fine.

Very good experience with friendly helpful staff who made a family occasion extra special. Great way to get together for our sons 18th birthday with family.
