I have eaten here before and been impressed. I came with my friend who had delicious whitebait and risotto. I tasted both and they were good. I chose the haddock fish cake and didn't like it at all ... very bitter and sharp. I left most of it. The waitress was concerned and offered me another main course but l didnt want it and told her not to worry. We shared a creme caramel which was delicious and l told the waitress so . To my surprise she did not charge me for the meal l couldnt eat. I will definately come back but not for the fish cake!

The waiter was very polite and made us feel comfortable. The food was excellent and good value for money. A nice touch was a free glass of bubbly each for my friends birthday :) A nice touch. Thank you for a pleasant late afternoon meal.

My partner Amanda and I have been frequent visitors to your lovely Brasserie. We visited on Sunday the 7th of July. We had been out for the day and thought we would end the day enjoying a lovely meal. We specifically booked to enjoy the Lobster special. However on ordering,we were told Lobster was not available,this was very disappointing.I tried to order the Breton tomato starter and was told this also was not available.Amanda ordered Swordfish as a main,with a Heritage tomato side salad,but was told that this dish was also unavailable. Although the food we did end up with was perfectly edible,we felt rather deflated and somewhat disappointed that an evening that we were really looking forward to,in the end fell short of our hopes. All very good as usual for the food and service. We had a person with us who is very fussy and after the third attempt with her steak it was just how she liked it just a thank you for the waiter who was excellent.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere, this is our go to restaurant when we visit Cheltenham.

There were 5 of us today for lunch including a fussy 6 year old, we all had great meals and couldn't fault a thing!

As "regulars" at both Cote Cirencester and Cheltenham our experience was not up to Cote's usual standard! Service was slow and generally "disinterested", despite the restaurant being almost empty. We ordered Gazpacho soup as a starter but were served with ice cold creamed leek and potato! Our main courses of Lobster and Tuna were acceptable. Although it won't deter us from continuing to use Cote, we will certainly be looking for a return to the more usual quality service on our next visit. Bob Hughes.

I had summer salad, it was superb. Possibly the best salad I've ever had. The starter and dessert were good too.

Group of friends for dinner. Ate off the early supper menu. I’m a frequent visitor and I was slightly disappointed by the choice on the July menu. Food was its usual high standard. Restaurant was busy and a nice atmosphere.

We had a lovely welcome when we arrived and all staff were very friendly and helpful explains the menu and helping with our specific dietary requirements. The food was first class. Beautifully presented and delicious. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be returning and recommending to family and friends. Thank you to all concerned.

My soup was delicious, my fish cake was nice but the fish tasted a bit strong, amd the choc pot was lovely. My friends all enjoyed their meals except that the Chicken was overcooked and dry for one of them. I have to say on our las visit I thought the Breton chicken to be very dry and wont be ordering it again. Maybe look at how you are cooking it and serving it as it could be deteriorating as its stands waiting to be served!!?

We came to Cote Cheltenham on 12th June, having booked that morning. It was mum's 90th birthday that day and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal: the food, as always, was really good, but what made it so enjoyable were the staff. Thank you!

I booked after checking prices and comparing with other restaurants doing a similar early eve deal, I choose Cote as advertised 2 courses for £11.50 and made my choice because of this, we were not given menus for the early dinner just main menu we had to ask for the special early diner when they came it was £15.95 for 2 courses very different to advertised on your website and I felt the service charge was expensive and taken without being made aware it , overall disappointing and expensive as I had budgeted for £11.50 per head and was my treat

This was the worst Cote experience my wife and I have had. We booked a table for 16:00hrs, and when we arrived there was two other tables occupied in the restaurant. It took a while for our steak to arrive, and when it did it was cold. So we had to wait a while for its replacement. If it wasn't for the fact that we had a complimentary bottle of wine, we would have walked out. Absolutely awful experience, not to be repeated!

Excellent haddock. Sauce was delicious. Crab mayonnaise delicious. We always go far the chocolate mousse which is divine.

The food was great as always. It’s only the second time we have been to Cheltenham as we normally go to Cirencester’s Cote but thought we would have a change and wasn’t disappointed.

Good food and efficient and cheerful service. The restaurant has a wide selection of quality dishes which are all well prepared. Sadly the noise levels are high and our meal was not helped by a man at the next table who took his boots off ! Regardless, Cote would appear to be the best of the 'chain' restaurants we have eaten in during this time in the UK.

It is always one short on staff to keep the flow going. Staff are rushed of their feet. But always cheerful

We had a fantastic evening dinning out in Cheltenham, the staff couldn’t do enough to make our evening as my partner has celiac and dairy intolerances. Having enjoyed a lovely dinner we sat back and enjoyed our window setting and watch the world go by. Absolutely awesome :)
