Fab service lovely food and really friendly staff. My husband really loved the steak.

As this was a birthday treat whilst on holiday and after searching online for recommendations for good restaurants in Cheltenham, we decided on Cote Brasserie, we cannot fault the food it was delicious we found the service was lacking. On arrival we waited a couple of minutes then when were attended to we were not taken to our table just had one pointed out to us, when we requested our complimentary bottle of wine and enquired which reds were part of the offer the waiter didn't know and after asking another member of staff we were told Merlot no other options as were stated in the e-mail, after finishing our starter, which was delicious, another waitress arrived with the dessert menu despite not having received our main course, must say the main course was equally as delicious as the starter, when we requested the bill we found on checking it that we had been charged for the complimentary bottle of wine, on pointing this out, and it being remedied quickly, it rather soured the whole experience.

Was not offered the free spritz or equivalent and the noise was unbelievably bad. Having to pay 12.5 % service on the wine as well is over the top.

Great food and service, food arrived too quickly we only had five minutes between ordering and food arriving and after the starter the food arrived after 4 minutes. Too quick. It meant by 40 minutes we had received and eaten two courses, when you come out for dinner you come out to relax and have an experience and it spoilt what was a very tasty meal.

Food was good, the waitress was very pleasant and helpful. The only negative was the food was very slow to arrive, clearly the waitress was aware of this, since although we had not commented, when the bill arrived she told us the drinks would be complementary due to the delay. Overall a pleasant evening.

Lovely food, attentive pleasant staff, special lunch for our 52nd wedding anniversary.

Booked for lunch with friends, usually a tricky task as one person suffers with coeliac disease. We were pleasantly surprised when met by a member off staff who had all the details logged, immediately asking who it was that was coeliac. From then on it was remembered by all staff. A separate menus was given, identical to the rest off the table but with the alterations required for the special requirements. Our guest was very impressed that, for once, she was not made to feel different or a nuisance to the kitchen. She was able to relax and enjoy the whole experience. The food was lovely and service was excellent. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone with special dietary requirements, staff knowledge was excellent. The menu superb!

The service was exceptional. The table next to ours kept standing up over our table and were a little loud but that wasn't the fault of the restaurant.

The food was excellent.The only thing that let down .I felt a little rushed .I did explain that I would like about 10minutes wait between course.but sadly did not happen.

I often go to Cote, including this branch but this wasn't great. My daughter's risotto was godd, my partener's steak stringy and chips pallid; i wanted a treat and ordered lobster starter with green salad- lobster tiny and tasteless and rubbery ( not New England- and not even Mand S), salad soggy. Partener'soup and my pudding fine.

I often eat at Cote and have been to Cheltenham several times but this was not my best meal.

As always, we had a great lunch at Cote and the delicious free gin and tonic to go with it. The lamb, the haddock, the swordfish and the apple tart were excellent. Thank you. We look forward to the next visit to Cote.

We had a bottle of wine offer for two mains and a free bottle of rose. The service overall wasn’t great not that they did much wrong but more that they weren’t really there when you wanted them. The food was ok but it was just bland bland bland. I had the pork belly which you would think would have lots of juicy flavors but it just didn’t. Then we waited about 10 minutes before anyone cleared away the plates, at this point I would have said something but the server didn’t ask how everything was so I thought well they’re either massively busy downstairs and hence why they’re running about or just don’t care. The stairs on the way down we’re strewn with chips which had fallen from dishes coming from the kitchen to the restaurant. I just want to note that I’m really not saying this be a d*** but they’re is a certain expectation of service and quality when you visit a place like that and when the basics aren’t covered and your smacked with a 12.5% service and you think well I essentially just paid them to bring my food from the kitchen to table, no real check back, no real service you think well I get the same level of service in Nandos so what makes this so special?

Very nice atmosphere , service attentive, food was pretty good and well presented. Prices are OK , wine always shoots up the price!

The food arrived cold and we had to send 2 plates back. The peas and beans were dreadful. The green beans were tough and yellow. The peas were the worst I’ve ever tasted. My swordfish plate was returned to me and still was cold! So had to go back into the kitchen again. My friend who had the sea bass started to feel unwell whilst we were still at the table.

Would have liked a bit more of a salad or vegetables rather than just rocket on mains, but good value for money and staff had a good range of drinks. Starter and desert was fabulous. We’ve been multiple times and would go back again.
