Very nice surroundings staff great. We had the full English breakfast only criticism is the mushrooms were too oily and had too much garlic not really good for morning time...

We are near neighbours to Cote and we have always been pleased with the meal. We have never been let down by the staff they are polite and professional at all times. ,

Ambient lighting a little dim to easily read menu, possibly my ageing eyes but I don’t usually have trouble reading menus! Food lovely, as always. White wine was barely cold when it arrived, but was quickly replaced with a cold alternative.

We enjoyed as always, the ambience and the service was good but our food not good! We didn’t complain as we’d waited for ages to be served and just made the best of what we had as we couldn’t wait for anything else. It was the sharing rib eye steak but it was tough and chewy.

A delicious meal celebrating our wedding anniversary made very special by the lovely young man who was 'on loan' from Birmingham. What a star! Many thanks. Personal attention makes such a difference. Val & John

Because the restaurant was full, the noise level was almost unbearable and quiet conversation was impossible. Fortunately, we were served fairly quickly and we left as soon as we could without coffee. Such a pity that our anniversary was spoiled by a lot of people who are incapable of speaking at normal conversational levels.

We had excellent food and very good service. Only slight problem was a large group of loud people who stood very close to our table for a long time before taking their seats. Couldn't hear ourselves talk!

Great food! Lunch menu great value and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his mackerel and seafood pasta! I had my meal from a la carte menu as I really wanted the duck which was just as lovely as I remember! Will be back next time we go to a Cheltenham!
