Cotes Never Disappoints, Fabulous Food and Service at Cheltenham last night- Thank you it was amazing.

This was our third visit to Cote Cheltenham and the experience was excellent in all respects. Speedy and friendly service was complimented by good food.

The (lady) manager looked after us very well (I think she is called Alison) - One of my daughters has Coelliac - so requires the gluten-free menu. The manager was attentive and dealt with our orders very well, and with minimum fuss. Fabulous seats in a very comfortable and pleasant location. Great all-round experience. Thank you.

all of my party - 10 people thought their meals were excellent. My only criticism is that I asked for the carrots to be soft not aldente but they came not soft as asked for. I sent them back but had finished my meal when enventually did come back. They took them off the bill but if they were cooked as I had asked in the first place I could have enjoyed them with my meal. My daughter didnt like hers but she ate them without thinking she could send them back. I always ask for them to be cooked more as they are rather hard.

Fabulous food as always. Love your staff, they did all they could to make sure our (noisy) table of 9 had a great meal. Thank you. 5*

We were 30 minutes late because of bus being cancelled so phoned our apologies but on a busy Saturday evening were charmingly told our table would be held for us.

The food was good, and service OK without being exceptional. We ate a a funny time, so the restaurant was almost empty, hence the low score for atmosphere. The main negative is the fact that I object to a 15% service charge being added automatically. Tipping should be at the discretion of the customer (I almost always do tip, by the way, so don't have a problem with the concept). We were only a table of three, the place was almost deserted, and the service was OK, but I wouldn't have tipped £20, which is what was automatically added.

As always good service, lovely food and good atmosphere. Cote certainly maintains a standard, never disappoints.

We do call in for our Sunday Lunch quite regularly!! It is always great food, fantastic staff and the buzz is simply great!!

Our second visit and I was very disappointed! Our starter was overdone and my partners duck was horrible and chewy.

Great service, easy going and convivial atmosphere. We went there for before show supper. It was perfect.

Food was very good (though fish could have been cooked slightly less), service a little perfunctory. I nonetheless paid the full optional service charge!

Great choice on the set menu for October. Food was delicious, can highly recommend the beef en-croute. Staff are fabulous and the atmosphere is always buzzing. So nice to see the restaurant doing so well given the number of choices available in town.

I have a really high regard for the Cote brand, I've visited lots of your restaurants, and they are always consistently good. The staff at Cheltenham are exceptionally good, friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional. The waiting staff were really good with us and very helpful, and behind them was Christina, ensuring everything was as it should be. It's always a favourite with my parents. The food is excellent and varied on each visit. I have no doubt we'll be back soon.

Very good service, went with my boyfriend today and we both enjoyed our meals. I have been before but my boyfriend it was his first time and he said he would come again and so would I.

Lovely room, helpful staff and good food. Only complaint is that I don’t like the tip added to the bill - would prefer to make my own decision based on the service provided. I know that it says it is discretionary but the average person just pays anyway.

It was a very busy lunch at Cote!! But the staff were great and everything ran very smoothly.

So disappointing. Been to various Cotes - always had amazing food but this was not good. Husbands soup was cold so sent back and returned having been microwaved so that it was scalding. Both mains were also cold and returned, resulting in a 45 minute wait. In fairness we were not charged but I'd rather have had good food and paid.

Just excellent, from the moment we arrived until the moment we left - faultless!

We had our usual very good meal at Cheltenham Cote and had the usual excellent service by the staff. We tried the pain perdu dessert, which was rather like an old-fashioned British bread and butter pudding, though with less fruit than I'd put in it. Having this special dessert meant that we were given forks to use as well as spoons. This is a welcome innovation which I hope will be extended to all desserts; it's terrible trying to pick up the last of the creme brulee with just a spoon.

We had pre booked but arrived early and were seated promptly. Good variety on set menu. At 6.30 we had a choice from 2 set menus. Food very good, all 8 diners pleased with their choices. Service efficient and restaurant very busy. We will certainly return
