Wonderful lunch with terrific company. Our meal was packed full of flavour and well cooked. Richard led his team with quiet confidence and every colleague played their part; giving us a sense of true commitment to making sure we enjoyed the experience.

We have been to this restaurant a handful of times and has been excellent, but this last visit was not so good. I asked for a nice table for my husbands birthday breakfast and I was presented with a table in a crammed area. The table for 2 was certainly not big enough and the whole plates, cups cutlery etc was all crammed together, so when our food arrived we struggled to get everything onto the table. To top it off we had cream with our coffee that had gone off, it was curdled. Not sure whether I would visit again, may find another restaurant for breakfast.

The early evening menu was better than expected with a wide selection of choices at a reasonable price. Plus the service was just as we wanted for a group of four friends on an evening out, attentive and quick but not intrusive. Everyone enjoyed their meals and had no complaints.

A fantastic meal, really good service. In the Rio Upstairs the temperature was really warm and the noise levels are really loud and you can’t hear the conversation at the table.

A warm welcome from the Manager when we brought our friend to Cote Brasserie Cheltenham for her birthday lunch today. We were shown to our table and given the menu, I had per-ordered. We were then served 3 glasses of KIR ROYALE with a smile (as an ETA benefit) We had the loveliest of waiter called ilia who was professional and friendly. Our order was beef bourguinon & sea bass fish & mine was omelette & fries for mains. Puddings were tarte aux pommes, crepe praline and creme caramel absolutely delicious and so reminded us of Paris when we lived there. We have had regular lunches at Montpellier Cote before and it is always 5*. THANK YOU TEAM COTE. We will be back. Sandra & Colin

Food and service was good but we were upstairs which was so loud we had to shout. Also felt harassed by table of race goers on nearby table.

Staff as ever are very pleasant welcoming, but unfortunately for the last two visits, the steak has either been undercooked or full of fat, Again the staff are extremely happy to help, but despite sending the steak back again on Saturday, what was replaced was uneatable, meanwhile I sat and watched my wife eat her meal. I was still charged for chips though. Maybe it’s we go late in the evening, I don’t know, but I was originally planning to go again with clients on Monday evening, but instead choose to go elsewhere. A real pity as the ambience is great.

Not the best steak (very fatty and undercooked) which is very unusual. The staff did their best but unfortunately there were issue in the kitchen and we had to send the meal back twice.

The feuilletine with goats cheese starter was only tepid warm and my partner was served mint tea, even though he’d asked for ordinary black tea. The service was not as good as usual: it was slower and we sat with dirty dishes in front of us for ages. I had mussels and had to ask for a finger bowl to wash my fingers. However, the food was fresh and tasty and always served with a smile.

Always a great atmosphere and staff are really lovely and friendly. Just one little thing. The beetroot salad wasn’t as the menu described and the pork rillettes We’re a little tasteless. The rest of the food was delicious,

High standards as usual at Cote. Crisp haddock croquettes followed by sea bream, cooked perfectly and finished with a creme caramel! Yummy!

Most enjoyable lunch, excellent Cote du Rhone and service was excellent. Quality with value, so rare in today's market.

Ambience was good though a bit noisy - need some soft furnishings to absorb some sound. Steak was ok - no better than that. Service good as ever.

It's always a treat to dine at Cote Cheltenham. This was no exception - we were a little pressed for time (on our way to the theatre) and the service was typically attentive and friendly. The food is always superb and great value. Thanks team Cote!
