I have eaten at Cote alot over the past couple of years and have always thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience. However, my meal last week was much the same with the exception of the starter which was lamb. Unfortunately, the starter was cold with a huge lump of fat on top with a couple of slices of cold bread, not the best!!

Since we were scheduled to appear in Cheltenham Magistrates Court at 10.00 , with a 09.30 meeting with our lawyer beforehand, we decided that it would be sensible to leave home early and have breakfast nearby: a wise decision for the Monday of Ciara! A little online research showed that Cote was a) on our route, b) close enough to the Court, and c) has an excellent breakfast menu. We made a booking, unnecessary though it proved - we were the only customers between 08.30 and 09.15 - but we were looked after very well over our light breakfast (juice, coffee, pastry) and this set us up for a tiring but ultimately successful day: many thanks.

Excellent service, as always, great food, as always, (sea bass and fillet steak). Redeemed our offer of blood orange martini, very good! The ONLY thing wrong was the side order of french beans were inedible, or some reason that is often a problem, microwave??

As always the dining experience at the Cheltenham Cote is excellent!! Friendly staff, great food, served in a timely fashion, and with a smile! Can't fault it! Luckily we live just up the road 😍

Disappointed as we ordered one meal from prestige menu & one from a la carte. Unfortunately they brought the duck from prestige menu by mistake so had to start again. Ended up waiting a total of about 50 mins for our mains. Noticed the order is taken via an electronic device but NOT repeated back. Think it would be good to repeat order back thus food would not be wasted. Also my green salad was saturated in very oily dressing rendering it inedible. Great shame as we go fairly regularly & it’s the first time we have had poor service & food.

Cote Brasserie always delivers, the food is great, the price is great and the service is always very attentive. It’s a great friendly neighbourhood restaurant.

A lovely meal, well presented and good service. Would have been nice if we could have sat in main part of restaurant to experience more of the ambience, as we were in a small room at the back and felt a bit 'tucked away'.

Amazing food, Lovely restaurant 1st time we have visited you guy's, helpful staff, great how you deal with a gluten free diet and other restaurant chains need to take note! Well done everyone. We go out once a month as a group of 5 ladies, this is the best service we have received with regards to help with a gluten free menu, we will visit again.

Always a lovely atmosphere . Your salads are always so fresh and the dressings yummy.

The food was well prepared with a good choice at a reasonable price. The waiter was helpful but not intrusive. As it was midweek the noise level was low so a very pleasant evening.

Cote Cheltenham continues to deliver a memorable culinary experience. The choice of dishes is generous. The food and wine are very good. The service is professional and friendly. It provides value for money. If you want to enjoy an authentic French brasserie, then spend your valuable time here.

The food was good and the service. We felt the gratuity was a little high based on the drinks and the food, we always believed this should be just on the food as the profit on the drinks is pretty high anyway.

Very warm welcome. Prompt friendly service, followed by a perfect dinner freshly cooked to order, especially loved the Fish Stew. No wonder that Cote Cheltenham is so popular.

Food was very nice and plentiful, good service although we would have liked to be served by the same person from start to finish, but you probably have your own rules. Nice lay out and decor. However, we had a shock when the bill came and the gratuity (optional) of 12.5% was included in the bill!! I know we could have asked to be removed and pay it the way we wanted! It was an early dinner at 5.30pm for 2 people! This left a bad taste for the evening after all the nice food we eat, good service and beautiful surroundings. You might reconsider this as it doesn't fill like a very British thing!!

Always lovely food with friendly, happy staff...very enjoyable and fantastic value for money.

Great food as always but service slow as it was very busy

Booked a table for six but with hindsight should have booked three separate tables as we paid 1/3 of the bill each and we would have benefited from three complimentary bottles of wine, rather than one shared between six people. Manager could have used his discretion here but chose not to. The ordering process went badly wrong and one wrong meal was delivered, plus several side dishes were omitted. This was a little irritating and was a poor start to our evening. I believe the manager realised we were upset about this and reduced the bill accordingly but still included the optional 12.5% service charge. Overall the food was reasonable but evening was spoilt by poor service

My friend and I have just had a very enjoyable lunch, staff were superb and also the food. My friend enjoys a plant based diet and I must say we were very impressed with the sizeable, separate menu for vegetarian/vegan. All in all a very enjoyable experience, we will definitely do again.

Lunch for birthday celebration & although this was flagged up on booking nothing on table setting to mark this! Perhaps a tea light decoration or a cup cake with single candle would have been nice. The food, service and atmosphere was however very good.

This restaurant is often very busy, so noise levels cab high at times. This last visit was no worse than usual!
