AS usual lovely food together with excellent service, especially our waiter Andreas, only one observation the 250 glass of wine price slightly overpriced at £9.00 per glass.
Lovely ambiance & location. The staff were very attentive & personable. Menu choice is very good - French theme of course. I was extremely well catered for as gluten-free. Food was very good. Lamb chops declared very good. Belly pork very tasty but not giving top marks because the skin on the belly pork was disappointing - not crackly at all.
Had the set menu which was very good and the service during what was a very busy day and time (Cheltenham Jazz Festival) was great
Only valentine menu selection on offer to us despite being given main menu as well - other diners seemed to be happily receiving main menu options
Our first visit to Cote Brasserie was a really great occasion made by the excellent service and wonderful food. Many thanks to all we will be back soon.
Simply divine dining! The atmosphere and service was delightfully charming. Our appetizers were delicious and the dessert, decadent. Out entrees were expertly prepare but could have used more salt.
Excellent food and service ... Very welcoming staff. Had the fish pie which was delicious and husband had the lamb, equally as good! Both had the crime caramel which is to die for!! Thank you!
Lovely room and ambience. The Food was good, well presented and value for money
We had a lovely meal and the service was excellent. We absolutely love Cote Brassiere x
Excellent food and service, as always, one of the best restaurants in Cheltenham.
My wife and I always enjoy the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. My family joined us for lunch on Easter Sunday and the food was good and my grandchildren children enjoyed the occasion.
Really great food, lovely ambiance and great staff. Only thing we didn't like was the added service charge at 12.5%. We prefer to cash tip the waitress that has looked after us. It was taken off the bill but was a shame it was there in the first place for a table of 2
Service was reasonable but could have been a little quicker, a little bit noisy at times, atmosphere good. Food was good if a little pricey. Would I go again probably but not at the weekend, a less busy time would be good.
Great service. My soup wasn’t that hot but everything else was lovely. Waiting team were very good. Food arrived in good time. Presentation was very good.
Always a lovely place to enjoy an excellent meal, the service is always very good, the staff are friendly which makes it very enjoyable place to go.
Mother’s Day lunch - overall good service- a bit slow but it was very busy. food was good except two side dishes were stone cold. These were replaced but by that time the main course was largely finished. A discount for the inconvenience would have been good.
An excellent meal for 4 of us- the only complaint we had was that the pork belly portion was very small indeed. Otherwise very good indeed
Great food and good choice of wine. Very well priced. Will definitely go again.
Even though a very busy Saturday night the service and the food were excellent, as always. Only didn’t give 6 stars as we did have to wait then chase for our drinks, but it was no bother.
Very nice restaurant, good atmosphere and good food.Staff attentive enough not over the top.
We often come to Côte for breakfast before the races. However this year was not a good one. Long wait times for all service even tho it’s was not particularly busy. Tea and coffee forgotten. Not sure we will be returning again. Very disappointed.
Excellent food, service and ambiance. Good value. Good choices on the menu
As always Cote in Cheltenham always delivers great service, good value and delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Our only complaint was that the set Mother’s Day menu had run out of the duck dish - disappointing as four of the five adults in the party wanted the duck.
Lovely delicious meal, excellent service, thoroughly enjoy the experience, would recommend & will certainly be coming back!
Always love coming to Cote and always leave a great review. Food and service are almost always top notch. However tonight I was slightly disappointed in my dessert. I ordered the chocolate pot, since changing the menu and moving the mousse (which is divine) to the dearer menu, this is my go to. However it seemed to be 3/4 creme fraiche with a hint of chocolate and given how tiny it is that was just plain stingy. Hoping for better next trip.
We had a lovely table by the window upstairs and, although the noise level can sometimes be a bit high downstairs, this was very pleasant. Never had a bad meal here and staff are always very attentive.
Food service and value for money all excellent. I was in a party of 9 and we all said the same. Thank you.
Brilliant! The menu was very good and there were several different dishes I would have chosen.Service was attentive, but not over the top, and the dishes were very well presented. Well done!
Despite mentioning one vegetarian on our booking I was not given the appropriate menu. We waited for 10 minutes before anyone came to our table and only then because we asked, staff were setting tables instead (which were not occupied afterwards)and appeared oblivious to us. Had anyone noticed they would have seen I had no menu to look at as I was looking up for someone to serve us! Service did improve and we enjoyed our lunch but we did almost walk out. I was disappointed as the service at Gloucester Quays has been excellent on previous visits so I expected the same in Cheltenham.
We love Cote Brasserie but have only been to Cirencester. It was the first time in Cheltenham. It didn't let us down. The best Creme Caramel EVER!
The eggs benedict were not very nice, the hollandaise sauce was like water. The Creme caramel was good, though. I don't feel gratuities should be automatically added, and even though we had given a tip, we were asked to pay the gratuity, which we felt I polite, considering our experience with the starters.
It was a shame that two of the choices on the Mother's Day set menu had been changed by the time we got there (early evening) due to running out of duck breasts. We also had a very small table for 5 of us (we've had this table before for 4 and thought it small then). We had to wait some time for our starters and ages for our mains (in fact we had to chase for them). We therefore declined to pay the 12% service charge, which we don't do lightly. It was a shame as the drinks service had been prompt - so not sure if the fault with the slow service lay with the waiting staff or the kitchen. Oh …..and the "toast" with the terrine was cold.
Eaten here a few times now, staff are exceptional as is the food. A fantastic dining experience at a very reasonable price. The early doors menu is very good also.
Excellent value for money good quality food and excellent service
Another delicious meal served quickly. Food was attractive, service was excellent and the price was very good. I enjoyed the special March menu - the artichoke was particularly delicious and an unusual extra. The free gin and tonic was a great bonus.
The food was fantastic, the best that I have had yet on my visit to Cheltenham. Colette took care of us and she was fantastic as well. We will definitely return!
Lunch on Mothers day with a some of my family. Great service, food and atmosphere. Cant fault anything. Hope to be back again soon. Thank you.
Our favourite restaurant in Cheltenham. Excellent food served by professional, polite and cheerful staff. Each menu offers an interesting and varied choice of enticing food.
I always have a good experience but this time unfortunately it wasn’t. The food xamenvery gold and my steak very well done , lovely service changes it but trhennmy chips came very hard as if they ones brought originally were cooked again and my steak was this time very rare not medium rare. No one came to check in on the second meal so my friend and I instead of having a dessert just asked for the bill and left.
On arrival we were put upstairs and prefer to dine in the busy part of the restaurant. We asked to move and very quickly given a nice table downstairs. The food and the service was excellent.
easter Sunday lunch.Great welcome on arrival, seated straight away & drinks orders taken. Our waitress was lovely & very attentive.Food was great as always. We Shall return. This restaurant could teach others in the same vasinity a lot about customer service. You should all be proud
We had a very nice meal, but we were sat next to a stack of baby seats. I also would much rather add a tip myself than have a service charge put on my bill,
Brilliant time lovely food and atmosphere good value for money
The meal was very good as always, the asparagus was delicious and the pork tenderloin with celeriac mash was a perfect combination. The staff and management at Cheltenham are always attentive and kind.
As always the service was very friendly, restaurant full and food remarkably tasty; but as a wonderful surprise my wife was presented with a bunch of flowers and two glasses of bubbles in celebration of our wedding anniversary! What a lovely gesture. Thank you
Nice place, disappointed with the food. Had the early evening menu, french onion soup tasty but too much cheese, it got caught in my throat and I nearly chocked to death. The half chicken and a few thin (MacDonald type) chips were dry. My wife’s food portions were small and not very taste. We don’t feel that we want to come back in a hurry.
I love this restaurant, but our food was not so good last night. The staff are always lovely, everything else was as lovely as ever but my steak was very chewy which it never normally is.
Delicious food. Very good wine. A delightful welcome. We were remembered from previous visits and made to feel very special. The staff at Cote in Cheltenham are wonderful and work hard to make each meal memorable and the food is always good , full of flavour with generous portions. The atmosphere is relaxed and happy and that must come from the staff.
Lovely meal for mums 80th, friendly staff and good service. Very good quality and excellent choices from three menus to choose from. Have been before and would go again.
Tasty food, good service but back room lacked any brasserie ambience
