A Really excellent lunch & thoughtful service - as ever.

Very pleasant ambiance, a helpful waiter and good service. Always enjoy my meals here as there’s an excellent choice of items on the menu that I like. I had the warm goats cheese starter which was delicious followed by the pork belly. Pork was tender and succulent, minor criticism was the skin could have been a bit crisper and there was a garlic flavour either in the veg or the potatoes which was a little strong for me but I still really enjoyed it. My husband had the Duck Pate and the seafood linguini which he thoroughly enjoyed too. Overall a very good experience and will be coming back soon!

I think it’s pretty obvious that the staff really don’t want to be there and the kitchen can’t cope when the restaurant is busy! For starters the prawns we had were over cooked. Two main courses had been sat under the heat lamp for a long time to produce rubbery, grey duck beast and minute steak. It’s also concerning when a French restaurant that does steak doesn’t know how to cook it! My medium rare was definitely medium well. A shame. We were just too hungry to send things back and risk more mediocre food.

Fabulous and so enjoyable ! Very attentive service and excellent food - cannot fault the warm welcome and the wonderful ambience - can do nothing except highly recommend !

We chose Mothers Day Brunch could not fault it. French Cooked Breakfast for me, full English for my Husband. Both excellent, hot and very tasty; cool glass of fizz, a large glass of apple juice, followed by a perfect ‘flat white’ coffee. Excellent service, great value for money. Highly recommended.

Amazing! We don't get the chance to get out together so much and had booked for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Our servers were immaculate and incredibly accommodating, their service was exceptional and the food was incredible. Thank you for an evening to remember.

I looked forward to my Monkfish, but, although it tasted good it was cold, as were the mushrooms it came on. Unfortunately it was disappointing.

A delicious lunch again. We prefer to book for midday when it is quieter and we can enjoy a conversation together with a great meal

I was astounded that you should not prepare a Dry Martini from your bar - all that you require is a bottle of Dry Vermouth. It is our favourite aperitif when we go out to celebrate - last night was our 55th wedding anniversary. So the evening started badly. The food was good but the service was a little slow. What can I say I haven’t said before? It’s always great to eat at Cote. The food is excellent without fail. Love it!

Having been the previous night, we felt the atmosphere was not as good. Everything else was great, as usual. Overall, the whole package is still the best available in Cheltenham.

Lovely meal. Helpful staff. I'm returning to health after chemo, and industrial strength antibiotics, and they've looked after me well.

Very good food, nice atmosphere, a little noisy. Staff are very busy, and sometimes trying to get their attention for more drinks is difficult. The place is not a let down, but could do better.

Consistently good food, fair prices, good service and lovely atmosphere. A go-to place for an easy night out.

We ate off the evening set menu. I had crostini and seafood linguine my husband had pate and belly pork. All was delicious. We also had a bottle of house white. Service was excellent

As always, great food - I loved the moules marinières and duck confit - excellent service and good ambiance. There could be more to choose from for vegetarians though.

Service was inattentive- it took 15 minutes from when we’d sat down to being acknowledged for a drink. Similar to order a dessert and obtain the bill.

Delicious food, excellent service, reasonable prices, lovely free cocktail. All-in-all an first-rate experience. We will come back to Cote very soon. Thank you very much.

As usual service excellent. Food brilliant. Andre our waiter very patient and efficient as usual. It was our Xmas meal,!! We took all 12 of our staff for dinner and they all had a great time and enjoyed their food. A really good reason we keep coming back regularly. We love it. Can always be relied on . We had the best 3 course meal for years. Each course we couldn’t fault. The food was superb and was matched by the service. The lady serving our table had some magic power of always knowing when I needed another glass topped up. Value for money was excellent and will be going back again very soon.

A very positive experience. The free cocktail was v welcome (by booking online) A delicious meal. I had the pork belly & it was sooo good. Followed by the chocolate mousse yummy! Can not recommend it highly enough. Good service too.

Had an email confirmation that the table was booked for 12:00 but I booked on line for 8:30 the crab starter did not look appetising needed some decoration looked very bland tow people orderd this at of the 4 also two people orderd the sirloin steak and could not eat it all as it was very tough this was dissapointing although my minute steak was lovely really wish when topping up the wine glasses they would make sure they want topping up as one person - driver glass was topped up she had poured it before we could stop her.

Food and service was their usual value for money and excellent standard. Would certainly recommend to family and friends.

Really love this restaurant. The fillet steaks are cooked to perfection and the puddings are amazing (even if you 'not a pudding person') will definitely be back.

We often go to Cote - particularly love the early evening menu choices and deal, its a favourite for us. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

As ever an enjoyable evening in a good ambience. On this occasion I was slightly disappointed with the main course - it lacked flavour and the potato mash swamped the fish.

We ate from the Prestige Set Menu and much enjoyed everything we choose - no complaints! However, the meal was spoilt by the level of noise in the restaurant - it was acceptable when we arrived, but as more people arrived, so did the level of the noise. At one point, sitting on a table of four, we could hardly hear each other. Perhaps some thought needs to be used to cut down the level of noise?

My partner Amanda and I love Cote at Montpellier.We have been many times and we will be coming many times more.We were concerned that when the “Ivy” opened close by, trade might have been affected.However,that has never happened.The atmosphere,superb food and brilliant staff has as usual come up trumps.Many,many thanks for welcoming us to your lovely restaurant.See you soon,Tom

The staff are always very courteous, helpful and friendly. The food is always excellent & of a very high standard. We had comp rhubarb martinis with our meal which were delicious!! I’ve found my new favourite drink!!!

I chose one of set menu with mussels as a starter I only had five mussels most of shells were empty I had the sea bass as main meal that was lovely.
