This restaurant is on our list of regular visits.once again we had a fantastic meal and excellent service. Cote is always a joy to visit under the stewardship of manager Richard. The food is of excellent quality and presentation is second to none. The service was excellent even though it was mother’s day! A very busy well run restaurant, looking forward to our next visit. We visited Cote on a Saturday evening and we’re very pleased with our experience, although our table for two was a little hectic and small, being so close to the waitress station. A table of four were seated next to us and one of the guys at the table was loud and sweary, so one of the waitresses warned him of his behaviour, which I thought was excellent. It didn’t not spoil the enjoyment of our meal. We both ordered the early evening two course menu and wine which we thoughly enjoyed. My wife had the calamari and pan roasted salmon and I had the pork terrine and pork tenderloin, all delicious, especially the starters. The service was great, the staff were attentive and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

Food generally of good quality, but the portions are really small! My son had the Eggs Benedict and had ONE small egg and tiny bit of bread... I don't think we will be coming back.

Staff were amazing . Very accommodating. We called a few hours before our reservation to change from 2 people to 4 adults and 2 small children . They sat us in a perfect place . Were brilliant with the children . Nothing was too much trouble . And the food was excellent .

We took some friends with us for their first experience of Cote Brasserie, and I'm happy to say they loved it. We found some excellent choices on both the Lunch and Early Evening menu and the Prestige menu. We all opted for the Prestige menu, and none of us was disappointed with what we ordered. My husband and I have eaten here, and at other branches many times, and we always enjoy our food, but we were delighted that our friends agreed with us!

Thank you for giving us a table downstairs but it would have been nice not to be right by the welcome desk and front door so that every time new customers arrived they stared at us and the food we were having!

this is consistently excellent. the prestige menu is well worth the extra, but the cheaper fixed price is very good, and very good value. a la carte, for special occasions, extra choice, and really good value. wine list very good range, and recommended wines always good.

We have visited Cote in Cheltenham several times and each time it's just perfect. The welcome is warm and relaxed. The waiting staff have super-human powers of perception and know just when to help and just when to let us talk. And the chefs are flawless, faultless, masters; always making our meals delicious, varied and beyond what we expect. So, Cote really is our favourite place to go and feels more classy independent than chain. Thank you all.

Excellent meal in great atmosphere. Great service and tasty food. Waitress was very helpful. My steak was perfectly cooked to order and french onion soup starter hit the spot. Great place for a group meal in the best part of town.👍

After 15 minutes of waiting for drinks order to be taken, had to seek out staff to take it. Again had to seek staff to ask for the bill after waiting 15 minutes, despite informing waiter that we had finished and did not require anything else. Disappointed. Food was excellent though.

From being welcome on arrival, to the attention by our waitress was great. My daughter had the lamb chops and she said they were the best she had ever tasted in a restaurant. I had Breton chicken and that too was excellent. Thank you.

Once again another excellent meal, we are fairly regular customers and have never had a bad meal here. We were served by andriana who we believe had stepped up to manage the restaurant. Excellent food and service. Well done and keep up the good work.😃

Cote Cheltenham has a classic French ambience. The staff are very friendly and efficient( maybe not so classic French!) And the food was delicious. There is a wide range of tempting dishes on the menu We were a family party of adults and everyone enjoyed their meal.

Very quiet , there were very few customers or staff there but this was a late lunch at 2pm so that makes sense. Bit cold. No sparkling water available and the food was average but very well priced.

First time we’ve ever visited on a Monday evening. It was fairly quiet but the service was really slow. Not much ambience in the restaurant, you got the feeling you were somewhere that was approaching closing time, even at 7pm when we arrived, with still a few more hours left to go. The food was good but don’t like the way the confit duck is now served on a plate instead of the more traditional dish it used to be served in. All in all still good but lacking the usual Thursday, Friday, Saturday atmosphere.....if you’re going to try to fill quieter nights of the week, you need to try harder!

Sadly this time at cote cheltenham wasn’t as good as usual. Asparagus starter was 3 very thin spears and 3 big ones the ends had Not been snapped off so chewy /woody ends . Pork belly was very dry . And peach crumble was not hot . We did get £3 off our bill as a good Will gesture. We have used this restaurant many times before . But this time sadly we where very disappointed.

We went to Vote Brasserie this time for their valentine's menu with wine pairing. We thought the choice was very good, and struggled to choose because it all sounded so nice. I had the baked goats cheese, the haddock and the creme caramel. All my food was delicious, although the fish was a little on the dry side, I still enjoyed it a d the creme caramel to end was silky and smooth and wonderful. The wine pairing is a great idea, and I particularly enjoyed the Macon village with the haddock, the pairing with the baked crottin was not as well matched but still an enjoyable glass of wine. Although it was valentine's and busy we could not fault the speed and pleasantness with which we were served. We have been to Cote Brasserie several times and will no doubt return soon.

Tasty meal at a reasonable price. We enjoyed the midweek deal - the service was quick, despite the restaurant being quite full. They found us the requested quieter table away from the big groups who were celebrating in a rather more animated fashion. I have had tastier tartar sauce, but overall the quality was good and we were well satisfied.

For the first time ever we were disappointed with our main course at Cote we both chose the chicken and bacon parmentier with cabbage and found it very bland and underseasoned in fact it didn't really taste of anything and we struggled to finish it. However the pudding was sublime we both chose the caramel cream and it was well up to your usual standard. The service and ambience were both excellent.

Perfect starters, mediocre main courses but didn't stop for desserts. Four of us in our party, three had the asparagus starter which they were delighted with, the fourth had moules au cidre which were again, perfect although the shells were surprisingly thin and broke easily leaving The main courses were steak (which came at a premium of £2.50), that was 'chewy', one had pork belly which was 'pretty good' one had chicken which he politely described as 'good' but it looked stringy and he left a lot of it. The last had Sea Bass - his benchmark dish. Sad to say the delicate flavour of the fish was completely overwhelmed by fennel. Service was, as always, excellent and the Syrah wine from the pays d'Oc was delightful. Generally a nice experience but not quite as enjoyable as previous visits.
