Côte Cheltenham

Every time I review Cote I should just copy what I say every time. Staff very welcoming, service superb, food 1st class. Won't be long before we return.

Great food and service at very fair prices, the only improvement could have been the bread which was cooked with cheese and was overcooked so base was very hard but otherwise all was great!

Always lovely food , great value and very polite and efficient staff. Lively even on a monday evening, not the best night to go out normally.

Lovely lunch - we had 2 course menu which was excellent and very good value for money. Very friendly efficient staff - very glad we booked as the restaurant was full

Good value with the early bird menu which provides a fair choice of dishes. The service is efficient and attentive. The food is well presented and tasty.. Would recommend.

Went for a celebratory graduation meal. Everything perfect - -attentive but not overbearing service- food excellent ( with a small exception of creamed spinach with fennel- not a good combo ) pork stunning - duck perfectly cooked - side veg perfect in proportion and cooking. For a chain it certainly didn't behave like one! Final comment - 12.5 % service charge is on my opinion a little expectational and too high. Although it is optional - we Brits don't make too much noise about such matters - I hope that the tips really do go to staff!

Good friendly service. Food choices enjoyed by party of four within a lively environment. We eat at Cote frequently and have never been let down.

great atmosphere, good food and a great selection of desserts. the only downside was the automatically included gratuity in the bill, with no option to adjust it (up or down)

Warm welcome on arrival, with efficient service from friendly staff. The food was as good as usual and with the offer of "take a friend for free" it was excellent value.

Very good service - friend is gluten free, all foods that were in this category highlighted to her, so no mix up if we had the same food. Waiters friendly and the food very good for the price - however start adding on the vegetables to supplement your main course (you were only getting the most basic of variety ie steak and chips or mash), and the cost soon mounts up

Service v slow. Too busy for the staff on duty. I had Pork Confit which had a large proportion of fat in it. Have been several times before, but will not go again.

Three of us had a great meal on Sunday atmosphere was good and so was the food. The service as usual was spot on .

Great evening. Lovely staff, good food and great ambience. Would recommend this restaurant for all the above reasons. This was a return visit and will certainly be keeping this on our "good restaurants" list.

Excellent food and service as usual. We had the ‘early bird’ menu which had a lot of choice and were not rushed from our table when we finished eating.

Enjoyed, as always, at this busy buzzing branch. Efficient professional service and good value and choice on the set menu. I had excellent moules marinières, my friend the pork and although a large portion was rather fatty.

Rather noisy in main restaurant, but excellent service with a smile and courteous staff. Good choice of food and able to mix between set menu, specials and à la carte.

The service was prompt. We sat at a table for two in a pleasant and quiet corner. Our food came within about 15 minutes. It was beautifully cooked and well-presented. The waiter and service were excellent. In short our Sunday lunch was a very a happy and pleasant experience.

Always consistant. Lovely waitress this evening. Cheltenham races were on today, nice & busy but still great service & good food. Will be back soon.

Very good service. Food good, my boys (13 & 10), ordered from the main menu, Loved the calamari & Breton fish stew. Would book again.

Food was ok. Seemed a bit mass produced. Cheese was straight from fridge. Service was good despite it being very busy. Ok for race weekend.

Amazing food at reasonable price as always and complementary bubbly for our 7 years anniversary I Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes french cuisine !

Little Choice on the November specials menu a bit disappointed I ordered chicken avocado and lettuce salad lettuce brown in parts. It won’t put me off going back I still love it

Usual good food - service a bit mixed this time. My husbands meal arrived as a starter even though we had specified it was a main course. I think they had a fairly new waitress on duty. Manager sorted it out.

very friendly staff and fairly good food for the price. busy Friday yet we were allowed to stay at our table without any badgering. no problem recommending Cote Cheltenham.

Food, service and value were (as usual) very good but the noise in the Cheltenham restaurant was deafening and made quiet conversation impossible. Installation of some form of acoustic insulation should be considered. Not particularly happy with the 12.5 percent gratuity added to the bill; It should be at the discretion of the customer not the management and could then be clearly visible that it went directly to the staff and not into the company coffers.

Yet again (a regular visitor) we had a great table; service; and the food was excellent. To maintain the consistency of the quality of the service and food is very impressive and a great achievement by the team who work tirelessly to ensure a great experience - thank you :)

Authentic French food, top quality with good, friendly service. Can recommend the steak frites and the creme caramel. Excellent, look forward to going again soon

Friendly staff, good choice of menu and food was very good. A good first experience of this restaurant and very likely to visit again in the future.

On arrival we were greeted and seated, menus were given and wine ordered. The food was nicely presented, was very tasty, good wine and very good service.

Went as a group of five on Thursday evening(6pm) and it was very busy within half an hour. Food as usual was very good and we all had the early evening menu. Service was perhaps a little slow but waiting staff were very pleasant and as they were so busy did a good job.

Great food, great service. Only complaint is that we were a party of 5 and we seated on a tiny table! Luckily one of our group didn't turn up, which meant we could spread out a bit. If not we would of been crammed in so tight. Maybe know how many people can fit round a table and stick to it, rather than trying to squeeze people in. But overall lovely experience and food as always. Would definitely come back.

Food was average, the pork was over cooked and dry. Good service and good drinks. Maybe the full menu would be better than the set menu.

A very pleasant early dinner. The set menu was quite varied and, as always, the food well presented. My only complaint is the noise which carries due to the lack of soft furnishing. We had a table in the side area away from the big party that was booked in at the same time

Excellent in every way: food, wine, ambiance &service. Our waiter looked after out needs AND managed to conduct an intelligent conversation all at the same time

Service was ok, they added gratuity to the bill which frustrates me especially at lunch times. Nice Eggs benedict. Would visit again but of an evening rather than lunch.

Myself and 3 work colleagues dined here for our 12th Anniversary meal and I have to say the food and service was excellent. Pork belly was a fantastic main choice and the Praline Crepe was a delicious dessert. Will definitely be back soon.

As usual a decent meal and no hurry to leave the table . Plenty of time for chat with a good friend. Pleasant service too
