Côte Cheltenham

Our table was booked for 7.30pm and on entering the restaurant we were given the choice of 3 tables, nice touch to be able to decide where we would like to sit. Service was excellent as was the food. The waiter was very good with his advice and at no point did we ever feel rushed. We will definitely be back.

The Cote Brasserie is consistent and offers a great choice. My visit today was with my elderly Mother in Law who does not eat much and finds the Cote menu has a lot to offer. We were not disappointed with our food at all, however the service was sadly lacking. Is it usual to wait 2 hours for a simple 2 course set menu choice? We were in no rush, but nevertheless, had great difficulty in getting the attention of anyone - at least 20 minutes before we got a dessert menu.

Lovely food but seated near access toilet -did not smell good - asked to move. One main meal + one side dish took at least 5 mins after all other dishes.

Always service with a smile. Good value for money. Variety of dishes which are seasonal. Atmosphere in Cote is always lively and vibrant. A very pleasant experience.

We have enjoyed several meals at Cote, in Cheltenham and Reigate, and thoroughly enjoyed them. The food is always first class and the service from all staff friendly and efficient.

Food fabulous, attentive staff and lovely atmosphere - highly recommend. Good menu, early bird excellent value. We are regular customers and never disappoints - good wine selection.

Excellent venue with sympathetic waiter service and melt in the mouth food with excellent accompanied wine selections. Our party of four were all very satisfied with the food quality and our waiter very understanding with a request for a well done steak - not often welcomed in a French restaurant.

An excellent meal in a very pleasant environment - quieter than usual because of dining after midday bustle. As usual, the food was prepared and cooked to perfection and serve by professional, pleasant and courteous staff who mad each diner feel individual and welcome. Would strongly recommend this establishment - we shall certainly be back!

Love Cote, however, the portions are becoming too small even for my palate!! I am still hungry after 3 courses on the set menu, and the creme caramel is half the size it used to be.

It was lovely to see the restaurant busy at lunchtime, however this made our second course really late so we were all late back at work. Lovely food though, as always

We were a bit disappointed with the haddock main course, puddings were delicious and the service was good. We all felt that it wasn't as good as the meals we've had in the past.

Food was good Service was good Location was good. As ever, dear people, don't punish those who take the time to respond by making them enter a string of text just to keep you satisfied. Isn’t it enough that we have bothered to respond rather than just clicking ‘Delete’?

Very busy Saturday night and Côte was full. Had a couple of menu issues but was dealt with efficiently and with good humour. Will always go back to Cote.

Good atmosphere and service and good prices also. Four people sampled a range of dishes all of which were good. There is a bit of a buzz about the place.

A lovely evening, good food from the set menu at a very reasonable price. Service was attentive and friendly.

Delicious Prawn Gratinee and succulent duck with garlicky potato dauphinois. Service was a bit slow and the empty plates remained in the table a bit too long.

Staff were all very pleasant. The only choice of cordial was lime, no elder flower or black currant etc. Gin and tonics arrived without ice or lime.

Very good specials menu. Nicely presented. Very Good price. Good service at busy time. seating a bit tight and room very noisy. But Overall Cote Cheltenham is well recommended

Great restaurant - we were served quickly and by a lovely team of waiting staff. We couldn't fault the food! Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

Poor service. Our mains arrived over an hour after we had finished our starters. We had only 1/4 or an hour max to eat the mains as we were going to a gig afterwards. Had to request the bill when the mains were brought.

extremely slow service as a result of a cock up in the kitchen and poorly cooked steak. orherwise excellent asparagus starter and panna cotta desert. The slow service resulted in being very late for a subsequent VIP reception.

The restaurant was very busy as the Cheltenham Jazz Festival was on and the weather amazing. The food was very good as always but my partner ordered a second glass of wine when we received our main meals and my bread for the Breton fish stew was also missing. The bread arrived after about 5 or 10 minutes but in spite of reminding the staff, we had finished our mains and still hadn't received the wine after about half an hour. When I reminded them again and ordered another glass too, the service picked up and the staff left the delayed wine off the bill. My partner, whose birthday it was, was given a couple of little extras on his meal which rescued the evening further.

A very busy evening so we had to wait 25 mins for our pre booked table but staff very attentive and our food arrived in good time .

Must have been a bad day for the kitchen. We were a party of 9 and booked a table at 6.45pm as we were going onto the Jazz Festival for 8.45. The whole of our party arrived by 6.55 and we ordered just mains. Unfortunately the food didn't arrive until 8.15. The waiter and manager were extremely apologetic and actually did offer to subtract the drinks bill. However, bolting down the food in 20 minutes left a bad taste - although the food itself was good. We collected our cake, that we were going to celebrate a birthday with, on the way out....

Always good service and an excellent gluten free menu. The set menus are also well balanced and the wine prices very reasonable. It's also nice to be offered table water without having to ask for it.

The restaurant has nice decor and friendly service. The food was good but room for improvement. The service was friendly with no delays. Would return again.

I dine at Cote Cheltenham on a regular basis and the experience has always met my expectations. The staff are excellent and extremely helpful and actually appear to enjoy what they do.

Our meal and service were excellent, our only complaint was that free bread isn't provided with the starters (as it would be at any restaurant on France)

Cooked breakfast was really lovely just a shame had to wait so long for the gluten free toast which was barely warm bread 🙁 Service was very good, staff always polite and smile. 😊

Ambience very average along with food which all feels like cafe rouge. Service a little slow and the bill was miscalculated. Thumbs down, many other better places to go in cheltenham.

Had a great evening here, we had a problem with some dodgy tasting mussels which was resolved instantly with no fuss, after that we all had a great meal.

Very Good service, good food. Potions for the main course generous. For a chain, very good. Wine seems a bit expensive for what was listed.

When I booked it was advertised as a weekend special set meal ,however no menus were available for this. When we asked for the bill we noticed the menus for this were on the window sill by our table but when we asked about them we were told they were last week’s and no longer available, even though two of our meals fitted the criteria. I am unhappy that you advertise this deal to n the website when customers book and yet when they arrive it has disappeared.

Excellent food and service. We are moving to Gloucester so your restaurant is very local to us. We would hope to use it on many occasions. The set lunch was excellent value and we found parking quiet good although we will be able to walk from our apartment,

We love Côte for breakfast. We go one to two times a month. It’s child friendly in addition to great food and the staff are always so nice at this branch

Very friendly efficient staff offering quick service. Table was very small though for my husband and I to have an evening meal. The area at the entrance is certainly the noisiest. The restaurant is very noisy. Cant they do something to bring the noise level down?

Well designed restaurant , comfortable seating, clean and well layed table, imaginative menu and delicious and well presented dishes all underpinned by friendly and efficient service.

This is my favourite restaurant, service and food alway very good until tonight! Slow service, starters fairly average, mains ok. The menu has changed and it feels like there is a new chef.

Food, as always, very good, nice wine, free water, pleasant service. Cannot complain about anything. Always happy to book any Cote I’ve been to so far.
