Very friendly welcome. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, prompt service of very good value meal. Early evening booking and so not too busy. Easy parking nearby but again early evening.

My partner and I eat here on quite a regular basis. Good food and wine, excellent service, pleasant atmosphere and decor. We really enjoy it.

Every thing was very satisfactory thankyou. We sat indoors away from the traffic. The waiter was very attentive and we appreciated the provision of the complimentary water. A good lunchtime experience. The crème caramel was delicious.

Excellent food and welcoming service is always to be found in the wood-paneled splendour of the Côte Brasserie Cheltenham conveniently located next to Montpellier Gardens where it commands a relaxing view of tree-lined Lansdowne Road, the Georgian grandeur of Montpellier Walk, and those delightful gardens. On a blisteringly hot day the complimentary Pampelle Spritzes were a welcome accompaniment to a delicious meal. The cider-based Calvados strongly recommended itself. What could I do but accept! A heartfelt thank you to all the staff.

An enjoyable experience. Our meal was well prepared, tasty and very good value. Helpful staff, prompt service. We shall book again when next in Cheltenham.

Brilliant service and wonderful food in a pleasant setting in the wonderful town of Cheltenham Spa. Cote is easily access by public transport as bus stops are very near the restaurant.

Lovely location for a special breakfast. Food great and staff very attentive. Ambience was great for a leisurely breakfast. Good value (but note 12.5% auto service charge). Could not fault it. Keep up the good work.

Great place to eat with fantastic service. I would recomend trying the breakfast formula as this is a great deal that is hard to beat in cheltenham

Friendly and welcoming staff. Superb food as always. July set menu is a really nice selection. The summer salad is fabulous. Desserts are the same but great.

Excellent food, service is always very good, the menu is great if you need a gluten free diet. Super place to enjoy a meal with family and friends.

As always, on the whole, an excellent meal. However one of the steak frites was slightly tough and the service was a little slow. But on the whole another great meal

Another wonderful meal at Cote! I ordered Asparagus with poached egg which was done to perfection. For main, I had mushroom crepe which was very tasty(although slighty crispy on the edges) and then a tarte au citron. Delicious!

Although the food was quite acceptable we felt there was a drive by this chain to maximise money extraction from their clients. The ‘friendly’ staff were great at upselling, so an £19 steak rapidly shot up in price by the time vegetables etc. were added. Although the environment looks good some of the seating (ours) was very poor resulting in banging heads with the people sitting behind. In shot this place is too expensive for what it is. £150 for 4 mains, 3 puds, 2 glasses of wine and 2 small bottles of beer. I would have expected more for this money.

We had a adveridge meal. Calamari over cooked. Pork belly not crisp. Disappointed when I asked the waiter to remove gratuity & he did not.

A huge crowd arrived just after we ordered. Because of the acoustics in the room we had difficulty hearing each other at our table for 3. The acoustics in the room were at fault here, not the other guests. My meal was delicious. I had the mushroom crepes. But I'd prefer they weren't served in a high sided baking dish straight from the oven. They were so hot I had to let them cool awhile and I prefer to eat in a proper flat plate; easier to eat from. But, I repeat, the crepes were absolutely delicious and the staff were very pleasant. I also recognised the very efficient way you serve the meals with all the plates coming out together. That was so refreshing to see. Well done on that.

We ordered a chicken dish, but the dauphinois potatoes it was served with, were cold and we had to return both dishes. This was surprising, given that there were only three tables occupied in the restaurant at the time. Fortunately, this was quickly rectified. The calarami starter is a definite must-try.

Lovely meal with great food, but service was a little slower than it usually is at the Cote. We had a main course and dessert, but the main course was quite a long time coming.

Restaurant looks great, friendly staff, fabulous food but had to request to order drinks and had to request to order our food. Service is very slow. Still, definitely worth a visit

This restaurant is consistently good for its interesting menus and efficient and friendly service. We are visiting the UK for a few weeks and are after as much fresh asparagus as we can get, and Cote have plenty of it with vinaigrette or hollandaise sauce. Excellent ! The wine list is extensive and good. We go for the Lagarde red. The only downside is the noise level. The restaurant has high ceilings and wood floors, so with today's raucous diners who have lost the manners to talk in subdued voices, it is difficult to carry out quiet conversation over a meal.

A birthday visit. The free glasses of kir most welcome. Staff friendly and helpful as ever. Good food and good value, Will return very soon.

Relaxed atmosphere and reasonable food at reasonable prices. The portion of asparagus was however, very small...about 5 tiny spears so go for the mussels instead.

Warm welcome, excellent service and food. Highly recommend. We went to another French restaurant the week before and received poor service and food, they should visit Cote to see how it should be done.

Great service. Fabulous selection even on the cheaper set menu. Food never disappoints. Really enjoyed each course. Return often for the food and service. Great value.

Met my expectations. Staff helpful and friendly. Food good value and very tasty. I like the atmosphere at the Cote restaurant in Montpellier Cheltenham. Will always choose Cote for an informal lunch or dinner.

A delicious late Sunday lunch followed by the most perfect creme caramel and desert wine. The staff are attentive and friendly. As always a pleasure.

We were a party of eight, who didn't all arrive together, but we were all looked after very well. There was always someone on hand for anything required, and the food arrived promptly and was delicious. We have been a few times and the service is always good, we would recommend Cote

We had a most enjoyable breakfast experience. A group of us met to celebrate one 80th and one 90th birthday. Lovely food and good service.

A very nice meal in a lovely environment. We were well looked after as usual. I do love the Breton Fish Stew and the Calamari.

We had to wait about 30 minutes to have our starter plates cleared away. Then the mains came out Luke warm. Steak over done, veal greasy and cod bites dry. The manager was great and refunded us 3 meals, but as it was our sons 18th birthday it rather put a dampener on the celebrations.

Very friendly staff, good service and great food, we have been to Cote several times and every time it has been consistently good, I recommend it.

I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and great value. The atmosphere is always nice and there is a buzz in the air. I will be back again for sure

Excellent service, staff were very attentive. They made my birthday celebration with a couple of friends feel special and personal despite it being a busy Friday evening.

Was surprised that the manageress did not know about the wine offer but she quickly put it right and was very pleasant as are all the staff. A lovely meal and a good experience.

Not quite up to usual high standard. My husband ordered the fillet steak but received the sirloin instead. The table needed wiping over before dessert but we had to ask for this to be done and even then it was only a perfunctory dab. The wine (complimentary as an offer) was added to the bill (and in all fairness quickly removed when it was pointed out). We are big fans of the Cote chain so will be back but hope that this experience was a one-off. There is a lot of competition out there!

Our favourite place. Service always very good but slight variation in food quality. This time the chargrilled salmon was very dry and chipß a liitle underdone.

Excellent food. Evening spoiled by extremely noisy hen party which resulted in our having to ask to move downstairs. As did the table next to us. Fortunately the manager was very accommodating. Would make us think twice about going on a Saturday evening to be honest which is a shame as Cote is not the sort of place you associate with hen parties! Food and drinks were really good, no complaints and good service in general.

Great service and food. Ambience and space are all great couples large groups equally....Will return again! Good to see a restaurant offering interesting food with superb eye for individual service.

It was good food and great value. Hosted and a good location - ex-HSBC bank. Handy for other venues either before or after the meal.

Restaurant was nice and busy even though it was early, food was great (fish stew was gorgeous) and service attentive but not intrusive. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent service and food as per usual and waitress picked up it was the birthday of one of our group and brought dessert with candle and sparkler! Nice touch.

Delicious food and fun, relaxed ambience. Generally, an older crowd. We went last night to take advantage of the Rose Wine promotion ie. a complimentary bottle with an a la carte choice. They unfortunately charged us for the wine, and so we had to ask about the bill which was slightly embarrassing. The waiter seemed not to know about the offer and it was all rather confusing. Otherwise, a good experience.

Superb food as usual-duck breast and creme caramel. Polite and friendly waiter (Bogdan). Very palatable house rose wine. Cheltenham Cote is better than many of the other branches in my opinion.
