Always enjoy our evenings at Cote, good food, good service and good value for money

We had the set menu, great food, great staff and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed it.

We visit Côte Cheltenham regularly. This last visit was good and dealt with a table of 7 very well. We were glad we gave the restaurant another chance. The visit before for Sunday brunch had been so disappointing and below standard that the management saw fit to give us a free meal.

The food was excellent and the service very pleasant but we had to wait a long time between starter and main. The atmosphere was great but we found the noise level high even though we had the upstairs yo ourselves.

very good welcome - even though we had booked for a later time - warmly welcomed and found a table straight away. Service friendly and excellent. Food wonderful and the price was good. Will keep returning - such a lovely building too in Cheltenham - thanks

Lovely and relaxed atmosphere! Food was great! We had mussels and calamari as a starter. The mussels were fresh and tasty with the cream sauce. The calamari were good, not to greasy. As a main we had strogonoff with my husband would recommend and I had salmon which was also very tasty. The staff was friendly. Overall, good experience.

An excellent post-New Year Sunday lunch, thank you - great food and service! The Chateaubriand steak was delicious - as was the chocolate fondant (with cinnamon as a change from vanilla ice cream!).

We both had the same - moules followed by pork tenderloin. Sides were prosecco, olives and bread. The food in general was well served and tasty. Side plates and knives would have been nice for the bread and the amount of butter provided was inadequate. The moules were tasty but the number of broken shells in both plates didn't do justice to the very tasty mariniere sauce. The staff as always were brilliant and the overall experience was very pleasant. Price wise, no complaints and we'll certainly be eating there again.

I have visited Cote a few times in 2019 and have been satisfied. This time was a let down. French onion soup dreadful, hardly any onion and the flavouring was not overly pleasant. 1 star is a push. Pork belly had been reheated and the outer skin very soggy. Overall the speed of service demonstrated that the dishes we ordered were not all cooked fresh and this really showed in the flavours and textures.

Excellent service from all staff and the food was also great

It was very good only slight problem was that the Tuna Nicoise had too much dressing so the flavour was overshadowed. A heavy handed chef. Otherwise good.

NYE 2019 - another excellent meal at Cote, Cheltenham. Set NYE menu with tasty food, friendly and efficient service.

We had a lovely evening at Cote. The steaks were cooked to perfection and accompanied with a lovley selected red wine.

The food was fantastic, it was amazing value and there were wonderful staff

Excellent as always - early menu for a change but as good as a la crate & extremely reasonable.

Have eaten here on many, many occasions and enjoyed every one. Never had a bad meal. The staff are always polite, friendly and professional and the food is always consistently good with plenty of choices and good variety. The place to go for dinner.

Good food and very well priced. Friendly service as well. Only issue was the wait for food was a bit too long

Hi As usual,, great staff and service! My dishes were excellent but Paulines's Pasta and beef sauce were uneatable: pasta was very undercooked and beef inedible/uncuttable! We are, and will continue to be, very long term Cote customers, but Pauline's meal tonite was disappointing. Staff and Service were, as usual, great... Great New Years Eve service. Great atmosphere and willingness to please. Food was very testy!

Everything was OK except that 2 main courses were cold and had to be redone. The response to the complaint was good.

The New Year's Eve menu (including wine pairing) was a delight and extremely good value. The staff were brilliant - present and cheerful but not intrusive.

After already deciding on our meals well in advance from online menu we were disappointed to discover we only had option of a reduced menu when we got there. When asked if there were any cocktails the waitress was condescending in the way she spoke to us saying that it was a French restaurant so why would they do cocktails even though I had cocktails last time I came and they're on the online menu. Waitress overall was rude, unfriendly and condescending throughout the meal and I would suggest she get another job as being friendly to paying customers clearly doesn't come easily to her. Overall very disappointing that we were basically forced to have and pay for 3 courses when we only wanted 1 different one.

I have been here 3 times with family and friends and each time the service and food has been exceptional
