We had a six-star evening at our table for 6. Manager 'Vinny' did a great job and looked after us well. Thanks to all the wait staff and those in the kitchen for making our family celebration possible. The Part Family

Food same but they no longer have the breakfast offer of breakfast plus juice & coffee so prices gone up by £2 each plus they are not passing back any of the vat savings so a real price hike (works out an additional £5 a head for breakfast). Slow to take order & didn’t bring extra sugar when asked.

A wonderful place to eat. The staff were very careful to maintain the COVID 19 rules, and though the restaurant was "crowded" every table was separated according to the necessary social distancing rules; my lunch guest and I felt as safe as it is possible to be in these trying times. My lunch partner and I will be back soon.

We always find Cote consistently good in every way. The staff are so friendly and very well organised in these strange times. The food and value for money are excellent. This was our first visit to the one in Chelmsford as we do not live in the area, but just as good as the ones we normally visit

We shared a superb meal in a lovely atmosphere looked after by very attentive, friendly staff. We felt very safe within the restaurant and Covid protection measures were in place and we'll executed.

Used Côte at Home during lockdown, which was great. This was our first meal out due to Shielding etc. since March. Lovely outside table, very well distanced from anybody else. Food and service was great as always at this chain of restaurants. Deserves to be busier - although we went just after the lunchtime period specifically as this would be quieter.

Very pleasant staff and enjoyable meal. We are always made to feel welcome and all four of us had an excellent dining experience!

This is the second time of eating out since lockdown it was a very pleasurable experience!

Hi Cote I understand that you have reduced chefs and kitchen staff at present. If that's the case, why don't you reduce the size of your menu? There are bound to be bestsellers, a top ten, and I imagine there are dead ducks too [ and that's not just for the confit canard ]. So pare down the menu, give the guys/gals in the kitchen a fighting chance to get their best dishes out to the table quickly, efficiently, and effectively. I don't know any Cote customers who would not be happy with a pared-down menu.

We have been to this place many times, we have never been disappointed! Good food, good service, and today's complimentary rhubarb martini cocktails were really delicious!!!

Lovely food as usual, although would have liked the brioche (with the pate) to have been warm (along with an extra slice!) The fries were very salty, but otherwise it was a delicious meal and enjoyable experience.

So pleased you’ve reopened. Great Quality Breakfast & service as always.

We have visited Cote in Chelmsford several times. The food is always excellent and the staff are very welcoming,friendly and attentive. I sincerely hope that they are able to continue through theses difficult times. Highly recommended.

Sat down for a quick coffee and pain au raisin. Coffee arrived but such a long wait for the pain au raisin that we cancelled it. First world problem! Got the bill and Côte were kind enough to give us the coffee for free, so we’ll dealt with; it was just a shame that something so easy to deliver was overlooked.

Great to finally be back at Côte Chelmsford after Covid closure! Wonderful friendly staff as ever along with lovely ambience and great food. Still our go-to in Chelmsford for date night.

I had "Tuna Nicoise" it was excellent, the staff were attentive, but not intrusive. A welcome meal after so long having to cook at home, just so sorry that this is not available "On Line"

So happy they are open again. It was our 25th wedding anniversary that day and we’d had to cancel our party. Cote Chelmsford reopened that night so we obviously had to go. It was like being greeted by old friends. The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful and we had a really lovely evening. We are delighted they are open again.

Just disappointed that the menus were reused and not wipe clean. It made all the hand sanitizing useless. But I love the gluten free menu. It’s just by far the best.

Amazing as always, from food to service. Starting with pate and goats cheese which were both amazing and for mains we had fish stew and beef bourguignon which we knew already would be amazing as we had them before. The service provided by Diane was supreme, very smily and attentive, making sure we were All good and had everything. Will be definitely coming back again as we love this restaurant, the food and the service. All top notch 11/10, would recommend!

It was good to be back! Felt very safe, socially distanced tables and lots of hand sanitiser in strategic locations. Food great of course.
