Food , service and staff excellent. Very good dining experience. Would definitely recommend this restaurant this restaurant . We have been there several times always v consistent.

Good service, good food and wine was excellent. Some confusion over the vegetarian menu, which we were expecting to be available and a disappointment that I couldn't use my Gourmet Society Card for a discount.

Visited Chelmsford Cotes having been to Amersham and Ealing regularly and they all offer consistent food quality with excellent service ! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

A warm and genuine welcome followed by the most gorgeous birthday dinner. The steak tartare - divine, the simple tuna nicoise - amazing, fresh and tasty, rounded off with clean, fresh lemon sorbet. Cannot recommend Cote Brasserie enough. Great staff, great service in a wonderful atmosphere

As it was my Birthday, my friend and I were given free kir royales on arrival and also had Happy Birthday written on my dessert plate and the waiters sang Happy Birthday to me. Great venue, food, service, staff & management 😊👍🏼

This was my second visit to Cotes Chelmsford. Good experience the first time and just as good the second time. We received great service. The manager went out of his way to fulfil our requests. Food was delicious and the prices very reasonable, especially the wine by the glass. Really lovely evening and will be returning.

Service was excellent from first 'til last. The food was without fault and thoroughly enjoyed by all. As a result, I think you will find that our two guests may prove to be new customers. They had not visited the restaurant before.

Cote is a good choice for a casual dinner or lunch. Good food choice and reasonable price. The service was excellent and joining the Cote club (free) included a free bottle of wine.

This restaurant is consistent in delivering delicious food and pleasant efficient service. I had the tuna carpaccio starter and cod. The food was hot- always necessary. Our waiter Lissandro was really wonderful and smiley. It's on my list of regular restaurants in Chelmsford

This was our fourth visit and they have all been as great as the last. Friendly and attentive staff. Their set menu is fantastic value for money and it is also updated every month!

Excellent breakfast. Crepe was delicious as was salmon and scrambled eggs. Great service. Trying to think of yet another excuse to do it again. Does one really need an excuse?

We went for my birthday and were greeted with a glass of complementary kir royale. Staff were friendly and polite and the food was excellent. A lovely overall experience. Will be going again.

Excellent service! We had eaten out starter and main within the hour. They're very efficient but don't make you feel rushed at all. Food is delicious. I will definitely be going back!

Food was reasonable but service very poor. We waited ages for dessert, coffee and bill. Had to remind staff. Think it is terrible that an "optional" 12.5% service charge is put on bill. We couldn't be bothered to argue about the service charge as we just wanted to leave and the waiting staff were nowhere to be seen. When we arrived someone opened the door for us and chatted as they took us to the table. No one to open the door when we left or even a "goodbye thank you for coming" comment. Clearly they can't cope if the restuarant is busy.

We enjoyed another lovely evening at Chelmsford Cote - all the food was great but the crème brulee and dessert wine was absolutely delicious. The service, as always, was excellent.t

Lovely to be greeted at the door. Food and service were excellent. There was an issue with one main course, but this was rectified so quickly and with so little fuss, that it did not marr the evening. Will visit again.

Great service and the good was good. The staff are very attentive. A tad pricey and paying London prices for a local restaurant but will revisit.

Cote Brasserie in Chelmsford was rather noisy and service at times a little slow but overall the food was excellent and we would certainly visit again.

Good value lunchtime menu. However the service was exceptionally slow to the point that two of my guests had to leave before dessert and coffee.

A lovely environment with beautiful food and great service! The steak is always cooked to perfection and to date is one of the best steaks me and my partner have ever had. Would highly recommend!

The lunch offer is great value and you can have 2 or 3 courses so very flexible. Even when on offer its still tasty & good quality food. Service is impeccable.

Brilliant, welcome, service and food in an atmosphere that made the evening. It my honest view it's not the cheapest but as you get what you pay for it balances out. We will be back.
