Better than expected, “risked” the steak as I’m often disappointed when having that in the UK. Needn’t have worried, excellent & prepared exactly as requested. Staff (as ever) amiable and efficient. Manager, friendly & welcoming. Very enjoyable experience, would unhesitatingly recommend.

Great service, food and ambience! The only gripe is that the covid precautions were a little lacking. All the staff wore masks and they had the government barcode check-in, but I have seen other restaurants space out tables and put perspex screens between tables. None of that here, which made for a slightly uncomfortable experience. If you can get past that, it was great.

Great food, but service a bit slow, steaks cooked to perfection, more chocolate sauce needed for my coupe Noir... over charged for some olives on the bill.

We go twice maybe three times a month and love it every time !!

Lovely evening, although staff were busy it didn’t feel like we were forgotten at any point but actually gave our evening a slower flow and more time to enjoy it. Food was fantastic as always, especially dessert.

My partner & I have been coming here recently, this was our third visit. The food is delicious, the wine list and drinks are suited to the dishes & the service from all of the team is great. Great atmosphere considering the times. Thanks all.

This is my favourite chain restaurant. The staff are so friendly and the service is excellent. I had the Fish stew and my husband had the sea bass; as always the food was delicious. The whole restaurant environment and ambience was delightful. Thank you Cote Chelmsford.

Food was excellent. Complementary drink for birthday was very nice. Staff were friendly. Could have been more attentive, waited a while to order and get the bill. Food itself came quickly though. Atmosphere was nice but thought the music could have been more authentic. But overall would highly recommend.
