Everything was good the food especially! Lovely waiting staff and good value wine. The only fault was the manager who was incredibly loud !

Fantastic food every time always good service and value for money

Staff were attentive without badgering. Service was slowish but we didn’t want to be rushed so actually, it was about right. Food was delicious and hot. Dinner for 4 was £200 so about right in terms of price too (we had quite a lot of wine!)

Another brilliant breakfast.... love the way that our server knows what we like, e.g. cream with the coffee, both sauces and English mustard.

Food really good as usual. Not offered the set breakfast and I gave feedback to the restaurant manager. He made excuses but in the end agreed with me that it should be offered. Refunded the difference which was a good outcome.

Perfect as usual. My favourite restaurant in Chelmsford- I have never been disappointed by the food.

First time I’ve eaten here and was really impressed. Lovely welcome and nice overall atmosphere. Made a nice change to have so many choices as a vegetarian too.

We were just back from 2 weeks in France so this was the perfect end, friendly, efficient and good food

A bit underwhelmed this time around compared to last time I visited. It was really noisy, you struggled to hear the people opposite. Food was nice but nothing outstanding. I had crab mayonnaise and it wasn't as good as the last time I came. Service was ok, the girl.who.took.our order was nice but after that, it was food just brought out and plates collected, apart from.the first "enjoy your meal" no.one asked if everything was ok.during.or after.

My first visit and a very pleasant experience. Friendly attentive staff and all the food was really good, I had lamb rump which was cooked perfectly anD came with some lovely roasted vegetables. Chocolate fondant dessert was delicious too.

It was our 50th anniversary, and we were welcomed and given a free glass of bubbly each. All was good.

Outstanding as usual! However baguette with the meals pleaaaaasssse if you want to recreate the French brasserie atmosphere Other than that you guys are outstanding in Chelmsford
