A little quiet as we ate early and social distancing makes things a little spaced out; but we like personal space anyway, so that was good! Absolutely superb overall. Excellent gluten free menu choices for the two of us. Swift, but not rushed, friendly service. Great food and drinks. Reasonably priced and good value overall. Probably the best place in Chelmsford to have a quality three-course gluten free meal with choice. Highly recommended.

Great to have this jewel in Chelmsford restaurants back open and functioning perfectly. We feel very safe but importantly at home in the wonderful ambience created by Vinny and his team. Steve and Lisa

Food, service and atmosphere were all very good. It was very much how things were pre-Covid. Just a shame that the Chateaubriand was not available from the Specials Menu even though it was an early Sunday lunch.

Once again an enjoyable meal was had by all three of us . Very friendly staff . It was a pleasure to return there . Many thanks to all concerned . Bruce

Live in Billericay. Work and eat in London regularly. This is our favourite, economically priced, quality restaurant outside London. The quality of the food is very, very good and no different from genuine French bistros in France. The level of service is exceptional for a British mainstream restaurant. Highly recommended!

Very good as usual with excellent food and friendly staff

It was good to get back to Cote after 7 months. The food was excellent as usual, even more so after that period of eating at home. The salmon especially was even nicer than the fillets I've been cooking and eating in recent months.

Excellent food and service especially in these strange times for My daughter’s 21st birthdays. No one seated too close. Staff attentive but not overly (which I personally prefer). Enjoyed it greatly, will be back again next Sunday for other daughters birthday!
