Another wonderful evening and Laura as usual made us very welcome which was important as we took 2 friends with us - they enjoyed the evening too and the food was again wonderful - one of our party had the Calamari and we all had a taste - excellent Yanna our waitress was very attentive as well

The restaurant has a relaxed feet to it with a good menu and serves good food. Service a little slow but not so to spoil the evening.

Food was extremely good and staff very attentive when needed and very polite.the prices are reasonable . the quality and service remain consistent each time I have visited

Lovely food with great flavour. Wait staff very friendly with good senses of humour made the meal enjoyable. Nice atmosphere and surroundings. Would recommend and revisit

Good staff, food fine at reasonable prices for set menu , good location in Chelmsford. Not far from railway station, and the new Bond street shopping street, located just round the corner in the High St, from Cote.

Brilliant food every time and good service. Authentic French cuisine reasonably priced and well presented and excellent prices. Would always recommend Côte restaurants. A must go place

Did not feel it was as good as previous visits. Had to attract attention to order initial drink and get complimentary water. Food was reasonable but the duck we both had we felt was not as tender as we have enjoyed on previous visits. But overall it was a nice evening.

Food made perfectly. Service kind although slightly clumsy, constantly reaching over you. Big no no. Really nice atmosphere. Could definitely return for food. Pork belly amazing

Booked a table for 4 using the free bottle of wine email, Food was good but the merlot wine offer was out of stock and was replaced with the basic house wine which was not the great, I would of though they would have replaced the wine with the next bottle up and not the next bottle down. I made my view with the waiter and paid my bill of £185.68 only to find out when I got home that they had charge me for the free bottle of wine La Lande Rouge. I will be checking my next time.

The service we received was extremely good. The onion soup was very hot and had a good flavour. A little more cheese would have been good. The beef bourguignon was excellent. Would have this meal again.

Great food, consistently 👍loved moules fritte and fish stew. Meteor beer very good. Will go back. Not enough room for pudding. All very good stuff

Friendly welcome and good food, as always. Staff do tend to disappear after a while but overall a a good experience. Good email communication on new menus.

Votes is a fine restaurant with friendly staff and attention to detail. Excellent food with a great menu and a good wine list, all served with a smile. I rate this restaurant very highly. Give it a try.

Excellent service, and great choice of food. Were able to push our meal through quickly as we were in a rush, but the quality was still excellent. Will be back!

The service at this restaurant is first class, our meal was excellent, the calamari was perfect as usual and we both feel that the brioche bread and butter pudding should be on the main menu always.

Great restaurant. Great service and brilliant food. Only reason for not giving it a six is that they include service charge in the bill. It's optional but I do not like the presumption.

Did have to wait a little for service, when I say a little I mean over 20 mins but was with a friend so we caught up! Food excellent though! Standards I felt were slipping slightly from when it first opened. Managers not around and present like they used to be ensuring good welcome and great service. I would imagine it is a bit hit and miss. Shame as it was our go to restaurant in Chelmsford.

Very good and staff friendly and efficient, especially Laura. We will go again but our next visit will be to a different Cote restaurant in London.

Great ambience and the food is certainly up to the high standard you'd expect from cote. Friendly staff and a great manager running the place.

Had a good welcome here today,very helpful staff and a delicious meal. Very enjoyable visit to Cote Brasserie Chelmsford and will definitely return again soon.

It does not vary quality always the same and good service it was reasonably busy on a Wednesday evening showing it a respected venue thank you.

Always consistent! Can’t argue with great service and great food! Great selection of wine and there is so much to explore on the menus! Will be back.

Food was delicious and service was excellent. One of our party has gluten free diet and was able to choose from a separate menu much to her delight. Only a small mistake with order that wasn't a big problem prevented a rating of 6. Would recommend.

The lunch menu was excellent. Mussels, Salmon & Haddock fishcake with a poached egg and spinach followed by apple crumble and ice cream. Staff were friendly and efficient. A great venue for lunch.

The food was up to the usual high standard for Cote and service attentive without being intrusive. All in all a good meal out and we shall look forward to further visits.

Pleasant efficient staff as always but Saturday evening is too noisy for we older people! Haddock special a bit disappointing...lacking in seasoning and not a lot of it.
