Great food, service and atmosphere. Cote always does the best frites!
As always excellent food and service, very noisy customers at table nearby but not restaurants fault. We coped and will be back.
Really enjoyed our meal, a celebratory evening for my Wife, glass of fizz and a nice bottle of white. Monk fish wrapped in bacon was fantastic. Good service as always and looking forward to going again in a few weeks.
Came to dine with a family of 9 for a birthday meal. We were given a huge selection of food to choose from to suit all our dietary requirements (regular menu, set menu, vegetarian menu, gluten free menu) the staff are ALWAYS friendly, attentive and chatty. Every member of my family were very impressed by the food and service. Can’t wait to return to this brilliant restaurant!

Good food, excellent service and attentive staff. Cosy atmosphere. Birthday celebration and nice touch with singing (I’m sure this is optional for shy folk). Great to have a separate vegetarian menu. Definitely would book again.

Fantastic service and well-cooked food at an amazing price. Each month the fixed price menus change, so we get yet another range of dishes to choose from. Vinni, the manager, is brilliant.
We went for a Valentines dinner, had a very nice meal, excellent service, lovely decor, nice ambience, attentive staff, good location, reasonably priced, overall very impressed.
Food was the usual high standard and everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The waiters and waitresses are extremely pleasant and make everyone feel very welcome and well looked after.

A warm welcome on a cold Feb evening. Good choice of food from the set course menu at good value. We chose a rather smooth Merlot and enjoyed the food and the service. Would def recommend
This is such a great restaurant, staff always friendly and welcoming. Great bottle of sauvignon blanc went down very well. I had the black pudding starter which he enjoyed and then the confit duck which was the best I have had. Susan had really good mussels to start and then the cod goujons. We will certainly be back.

Usual lovely food and good service, my husband complained that his starter was cold and the price was taken off the bill, which was appreciated.
I booked a table for four to celebrate a family birthday and we were given a very friendly greeting by the staff on arrival. The restaurant is spacious, clean and well laid out and was not very busy this lunchtime. The service was attentive and friendly and the menu varied. The food was very good and served in a respectable time. The lack of imposing background music was also welcome so we enjoyed our conversations. Looking forward to the next visit. Recommended.

Well first date in this venue. The staff where very attentive to our needs and made us feel very welcome. The food was top dollar at a very good price. My partner and I spent nearly 4 hours eating and drinking and had the most memorable time. We will make this a regular place to chill eat drink and relax. Went with a group of friends, As usual we were not rushed with our meal so had plenty of time to enjoy our food and catch up with everyone's news. Good food, good service and a reasonable price.
Lovely setting, staff team and delicious food. We enjoyed the prawns and calamari to start and chose the half chicken for mains. Polished off with a lovely bottle of red. The best multiple site restaurant around.
A very nice meal. We always enjoy our visit to Cote Chelmsford. A cosy relaxing environment with good service and good food and wine. Sunday early evening is a great time to visit.
One of the waiters had a dirty shirt and had very strong body odour. The service charge is too much, we asked for it to be taken off and gave our waiter tip

Another lovely meal served by friendly and cheerful staff. Never fails to satisfy body and soul .Delightful evening out with good friends. Will be back again.
The food was lovely but the service wasn’t great. Very rude waiter who didn’t care about my steak/ meal being wrong, just said “okay” and walked away, wouldn’t rush back.
