Had the pre theatre set meal for £19.95. Decent choices and good size portions. House wine excellent price for West End. As it was a Monday restaurant was very quite but each course was served with a good time period in between. Professional staff.

Food very good as always. Service very friendly and generally good, but it appears that we were forgotten about between main course and dessert and had to attract attention in order to order desserts. Also, it detracted somewhat that the people who came and sat at the next table partway through our meal spoke in louder voices.

The food was up to its usual high standard. Unfortunately, I think we got forgotten about between the main course and dessert such that we had to take action to order desserts. Otherwise service was generally good and always friendly. Unfortunately, most of the people who came and sat at the table next to us spoke in loud voices, so the latter part of our meal wasn't as enjoyable as the first.

Good choice on the menu, I ordered a chicken Walnut Salad and it was yummy. Service was good and waiters were attentive

I have food intolerances and the restaurant dealt with my issues quickly and efficiently. We had a lovely round table for 4 and the food provided was well cooked and presented. We booked for 2.30 on a Friday. The restaurant was a little noisy at first but fine otherwise.

The June prestige menu is simply fabulous. Both my friend and I had the delicious asparagus followed by the cod dish which was divine! The service by the Polish lady who normally only works at weekends she told us was so superb. I could eat my way through the June set menu over and again.

As always around Christmas the place is very noisy with too many parties and the set meal is not that wonderful, compared with, say, the spring menus. But the service at this place is always excellent even though staff are really rushed off their feet. Your food always arrives with a smile.

Was celebrating with a friend - was a lovely atmosphere. There appeared to be a new waitress but she was kind and followed the book!

the service was excellent and maitre d' Joao from Northern Portugal was his charming self. No matter how crowded the restaurant gets - and it does get really crowded at 6pm - he remains cool, non-flustered and totally professional.

This is my favourite Cote in central London because I can get a table in what is almost always a quiet annex. The food and service were definitely up to the high standard I and my friend are used to.

I took two girlfriends to this restaurant. The lovely Carmen made us feel like million dollar customers. We had complimentary Kier Royale,followed by free Gin cocktails. Then the most excellent dinner . The March set menu is great, two of us had the Premier Menu - I would have liked the baked camembert as a starter rather than a main course. Though it is SO delicious when it comes. the starter salads a delicious and I'll make the pear, walnut and goats cheese salad at home for my next dinner party. We staggered home happily

the breakfast chef has to be congratulated. The vegetarian Formule 1 is so delicious even for non-vegetarians. The lovely and accommodating Maitre D' lady even allows you to be really naughty and have bacon with it! Huge cafetieres with freshly made coffee. Such a treat. thank you to all staff who get up especially early to be there at 8am

Warm friendly welcome. The restaurant has many alcoves so our partyhad an area to ourselves. Excellent food and wine

I’ve not had lunch here for a long while and was pleased to see that my favourite Portuguese Maitre d’ was also working at lunchtime. Does he ever sleep? So we were welcomed with the usual complimentary Kier Royale. Though I know the March set menu well by now I still found dishes I had not yet eaten. A lovely relaxing lunch served by a most polite waitress. Thank you to all.

Booked table for 4 as it was a member of staff 's birthday. We were all given a drink on the house when waitress realised we were celebrating which was a lovely touch. At the end of the meal they placed lighted candles on his ice-cream desert too and sang 'happy birthday'!! by the way food as always was very good with clear plates all round.

Food was good if not very good. My only reservation is that the soup could have been hotter. The service was good if not very good - always pleasant and helpful, and mostly very timely. When booking, I had requested a table in a quiet part. When I arrived, there was a table available in a quiet location in one of the alcove rooms, which suited me and my friend fine.
