Very polite staff but not enough of them. Service very slow. Had to leave before desert arrived as I had to catch a train. Usually OK but not on this occasion.

Service friendly and efficient as always and nice touch to bring Tabasco and Worcester sauce for the tomato juice Had the special lunch menu and sea bass was really good but artichoke a big disappointment - no artichoke in it! Good to offer fresh mint tea

We were given a quiet table at a very busy lunchtime, which we appreciated. Excellent choice of starters on the fixed price lunch menu, and good value as always on the other courses. Friendly attentive staff, who did not hurry us. Another friendly and companionable lunch at Cote.

Great service and the pre theatre menu is very good value. Went at 5:30and not at all busy, I’m sure you would need to book otherwise.

I have been to this Cote a few times and enjoy it every time! The service was excellent and our waitress was very welcoming on arrival. Delicious food and the set menu is great value. The restaurant ambiance is also lovely.

Very pleasant, helpful staff. Good starters. I had a generous piece of swordfish, it was edible but very underdone which is why I have only given 4. Finished with fresh mint tea. Looks fine but upstairs.

We were greeted very warmly and had excellent service which was friendly and professional. The food was very good and great value for money. We were not hurried at all and the staff wished us goodbye in a warm way. Would definitely recommend for a cosy lunch.

Service was a bit sluggish at times, otherwise no complaints. Food was good and the bill came at the end of the meal without prompting, which I prefer. Dislike having to ask for the bill when it's obvious we have finished and are ready to leave.

Lovely restaurant which we have used on numerous occasions, food & wine good as usual & not over priced. It is nice to be able to have a meal where you can actually hear yourself speak.

A little slow but delicious food and nice setting. Jerusalem artichoke gratinee was perfect and steak was as ordered. Seemed like good value for money.

Always enjoy this venue as one of the quieter more intimate Cote branches for sunday lunch. Enticed by new March specials and a reward Kir Royale we actually both chose from great value for money set menu Langoustine tails and Haddock Parmentier...with favourite apple crumble to close. All full of flavour and usual great delivery. Ozzie was great at wine recommendation and a delightful "host"

One of our favourite Cote restaurants. Consistently good food at reasonable prices. Staff very nice. Also a bonus to have a quieter area at the back of the restaurant. Charlotte Street is an oasis in an otherwise busy, traffic ridden area of London.

Really nice - good service especially the Sunday manager and delicious food. Only thing I’d change in this weather is one set of doors always being open which makes gusts of wind very much felt at some tables near the doors.

The food was delicious, as it always is, and the staff were solicitous and helpful regarding my friend's food allergy. And the coffee is excellent.

Good food and wine, relaxed atmosphere but service was lacking. Despite the restaurant being less than half full, service was slow and a drinks order forgotten, also we were served by at least 3 different people. I should say that I've dined at Côte many times (though not this branch) and have always had good service.

As always good service and food choice and quality good too. Really busy evening which was great for Côte but makes for a very noisy restaurant... not put off though.

Disappointing. Generally the food was flavourless and it was half empty, despite being a Saturday evening. The staff were friendly though they seemed a bit short staffed.

This restaurant has a very comprehensive menu. Lots to choose from. We were given a very nice table. The staff were attentive and friendly. Our food was served promptly and piping hot. I had the sea bass. Absolutely delicious. Great value for money. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go back

I never have a bad word to say about this place- except perhaps that next time will remember not to order fillet steak - it was an experiment, but medium to well came up VERY well and I felt was a little overpriced, but there is so much more on the menu to choose from and that I have enjoyed before so I feel bad even knocking off one point for this! Staff are always pleasant and a great asset to this little brasserie and we will continue to dine here.

The February set menu is ok for starters but the main courses don’t offer enough choice. Especially if you go frequently. For me there’s only the haddock

Easy to find restaurant not far from Oxford Street. We were a group of 6 people. Service was ok, although not particularly friendly and there was relatively loud music playing throughout the time we were in the restaurant - not quiet background and hard to block out. Food was ok although risotto was undercooked to my taste and most of the mussels were in broken shells. Chocolate pot desserts were variable - 3 ordered and no 2 the same.

Valentine's experience was fantastic food was delicious, wine pairings went very well service was second to none couldn't be enough help, only downside of any was that it was very hot inside and the music didn't create a very Romantic atmosphere but otherwise all the important things were absolutely perfect

A convenient restaurant in a central but quiet location. The set menu is an excellent option - I always like the choices. The service is also good. The kitchen should be careful not to re-heat a pissaladiere, whether cheese or tuna, becomes dry like sawdust.

Once again a wonderful meal. the January set menu is particularly delicious and we didn't know what to choose. The soup is always brilliant. All the starters were potentially delicious. I had the sea bream and him indoors had the chicken breast. Since I'll be going again at least four times in January I'll try the rest. Pity the deserts have not changed in 18 months!

Nicely fitted out restaurant where you are not too close to the table next to you. Staff are attentive and the food is good in relation to the price paid. The food is on the salty side though and vegetables are extra (which is a real negative as vegetables are a keystone of health).

Delicious lunch set menu in the heart of London. We both started with the leek vinaigrette which was very tasty. We then had the steak frites - beautifully cooked and very tasty steak. Friendly service and very reasonable price!
