The food was lovely and cannot complain about it at all. Unfortunately the waiter was not up to speed. his knowledge of the menu, his ability to listen and his understanding of what was ordered was disconcerting. His ability to see when we wanted attention although walking passed out table several times. It was the actual server not the food that let you down. Kind regards
A much smaller restaurant offering less busy and more cosy setting. On a peaceful street in W1. The staff were very friendly and polite and the food came promptly and Precise. The table just inside the entrance door On the right was very pleasant and would very much like to visit Charlotte Street again soon
Great experience, great for business lunches and ones with friends.
Very good pork belly. I like this branch of Côte although found it a little noisy in the corridor where we were sitting.
Good food and very pleasant staff - excellent value. It was a bit noisy, but that was down to a couple of office Christmas parties.
Delicious food. The stand out was the chocolate mousse which was amazing.
Great service, great food. pre theatre menu was great vlue for money
Really impressed with how quickly our meal was served at a very busy time!!
Really good choice for our family Christmas party. There were 10 of us and we had a semi private room. Service was efficient and charming. the food which we’d pre ordered was as good as ever and the French wines were excellent value. We were not hurried and in fact were at the table for 4.5 hours! Thank you Cote for looking after us so well.
We are regular patrons of Cote countrywide. The Charlotte Street Cote has a more intimate and less busy feel about it, even though it is a large restaurant. Excellent service, excellent quality food, great value for money, and an altogether pleasurable experience. Thank you.
Excellent service, superb food. The usual high standard expected of Cote.
The restaurant was super busy when we arrived and we had to wait quite a while for our food but when it did turn up it was really good and the waitress very apologetic for the wait so she gave us desserts and coffee on the house which was great. All round really nice ambience at Charlotte street and the staff very pleasant and efficient despite being run off their feet!
Good food but service a little slow due to a large number of large Xmas parties
Fantastic food and the set menu is good VFM However, if something is not available it should be made aware prior to choosing . Two of the guests wanted something not available and were not allowed to choose something off the set menu, at the same price as an alternative The manager kindly came over to speak to us and offered a free dessert, but we were too full for 3 courses Otherwise a wonderful meal and the vegetarian options were extremely tasty. I had beetroot to start and butternut squash ravioli to follow. Both delicious ! A few Xmas decorations would not go amiss too. Our second time at this Cote and we will definitely return in future.
The food was good but unfortunately service was slow perhaps not enough staff on for the busy lunch service
Staffs were very friendly and accommodating. I reserved the table for 15 guests and end up only 10 turns up due to London Bridge incident and some were late but the restaurant still pleased to accommodate us.
Slow service, which was really quite disappointing considering how quiet the restaurant was by the end of our meal and the fact we had pre-ordered our meals. There were eight of us, which is not a particularly large group and the experience could have been much better. One of our party also found a piece of metal in his starter which we pointed out to the server who apologised but did not offer any compensation which we found most perturbing. Would not recommend for Christmas or groups.
Cote is always a joy. When things don’t go quite right, the lovely staff always do their best to make things better. The fizz was a bit warm so had to be replaced which took a while-that said it was the first busy Christmas week of the season so understandable. The food is delicious, well priced and on point. Thank you as ever for a great meal.
Great food great service great table for a meeting - thanks
We booked for a pre theatre early supper, the food was great and the service was friendly and efficient. Thank You
Lovely food at good prices in a central London location
The food was good but the service was not to the same standard. Our waitress had to ask us to repeat our order many times while she took a note of it. It also took along time to get our drinks - in fact, some of the starters had arrived before our bottle of Prosecco arrived! The venue was very nice, but we were distracted by a constantly flickering lightbulb above us. When we mentioned this to staff, we were rather dismissed. It was a shame that these small, but important, elements were lacking.
Again the noise levels for me were too high but it’s difficult to see how you could reduce them
We had a lovely evening. Good food and really great staff.
The Roquefort starter was superb... the duck a l’orange great.... however the veggie option of cheddar sausages was dry and bulky to eat... it was obvious the person serving us was new... no problem in that... but maybe some more training needs considering before going live ?
As reliable as ever. Great value - excellent food and service
Amazing food service and ambience. Loved it. Highly recommend. 👍🏼
my friend and I were welcomed like royalty! Having now eaten the whole set and prestige menu for November we are REALLY looking forward to the December menu. I have eaten everything off the November menu and pleasant surprises were the warm beetroot salad, the venisson parmentier and the chickpea pancake. Though I am not a vegetarian, the latter was really delicious, so I had that again this time. If only the deserts on the set menu would change once a year at least!
I was so pleased to meet one of the new waiting staff, the lovely lady from Lecce. She was amusing, speedy and so polite. She served the drink and delicious food with Italian charm. Grazie a lei.
love the charlotte street restaurant - love the service and ambience and the food.
Really friendly staff and great food. All around great experience.
Very good service, we were going to the theatre, everything was served in good time and delicious.
Lovely breakfast in nice surroundings with friendly service. I will definitely return.
Lovely, tasty food, delightfully presented in a buzzy but cosy environment..
Good service and food at a reasonable price. Venue OK.
The staff at this Cote are absolutely fantastic! They make you feel special from the minute you step in the door. The Manager there has obviously done a great job in motivating her staff. They were attentive without being over the top, they were genuinely interested as to whether your meal was okay. They had excellent knowledge of the menu and were able to describe desserts etc., accurately and enthusiastically. We will be back/ A perfect start to our evening - thank you.
Very good but was very noisy on a Friday lunchtime. Would certainly come again.
My girlfriend and I were given the best table in the house in spite of the restaurant being really busy. The lovely maitre d’ Carmen made us feel welcome and the Danish waitress attended to us so charmingly all evening. By now I had the November set menu several times but all was cooked to perfection. If only the deserts would change once in five years!
Always good - i think best of the chains for value
Lovely meal, relaxed atmosphere, and good service. Cote are consistent.
Always a pleasure at Cote. Never fails to deliver a tasty meal.
we had a nice evening, good value, bit noisy, would return
Very pleased with food and service. Only improvement would be if the manager would smile now and then.
Perfect for a work lunch for a 30th birthday. Dinner was delicious and excellent service.
As always here, the staff were well organised, prompt, very friendly and helpful... And the food was superb. Considering the quality, I think it's good value for money.
It was initially disappointing and annoying not to get the table for 2 (in a usually quiet spot) that I'd reserved two weeks beforehand. However, I was allowed to use a 4-person adjacent table. Everything else (food, service, waiting times) was good or very good. And fortunately the noise levels throughout were low.
Having three different menus made ordering a bit complicated for the waiter taking our order - but we weren't in a hurry and the food was good.
Relaxed lunch with old friends, so the relative quietness of the restaurant mattered, and the pace of service was just right. I have been to this restaurant many times and the food has always been good.
Great service and good food at reasonable prices. Perfect for pre theatre meal.
We booked online for a 6/15 table for three adults. We arrived at 6pm and we were greeted at the door and were told our table would be ready in a minute or two. Which it was the menu choice was good and we chose the £19:95 one . The food was excellent and so was the service ! Would highly recommend
