Côte Charlotte Street

The fish permentier is always good. The lamb rump was tender and very tasty. An excellent dessert: Tart fine aux Pommes. £ 20.50 for a bottle of plummy Chemin Merlot is not expensive. Efficient and friendly service. On the negativ side: The Cafe American was too strong.

Cancelled another booking for another restaurant as we thought they were going to longer than the hour we had. ordered from the lunch menu for a faster service, but sadly was too slow.

Good service, pleasant atmosphere and in general tasty food. The "medium rare" tuna was more medium with no pink meat in the middle of the tuna steak. It was still tasty although slightly overcooked

As always at Cote good service and fast turn a round on coking times. However dispointed on the amount of garlic on my salad starter on the pre theatre frise,egg and anchovie salad. The main course sea bream was really good. My only fault would be it was quite a small portion and could have done with an additional side. Maybe a little harsh on a £12.95 2 course deal

Great value lunch menu and very tasty. Friendly service too. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner and the main menu is always great too.

Lovely ambience and friendly service. Great food and lovely for a personal friendly meal, or a work meal or get together. A go-to restaurant. Highly recommend it.

We like the Côte chain, good food at a fair price and not full of kids! The occasional offer of a complimentary bottle of wine helps too

The food was definitely up to standard, but the service was extremely slow and the wait staff were not very friendly. Part of our order was also not brought to the table (starters).

Cote Charlotte Street was, as usual, absolutely marvellous. There were four of us for a birthday celebration and when the waitress overheard our birthday wishes to our friend, she immediately came up with complimentary kir royales. The food was very good - I was glad to see the lamb on the menu again and it was done to perfection. Lovely table, lovely food and great service. All at a very affordable cost. One of my favourite restaurants - always totally reliable and consistently good.

Cote in Charlotte Street doesn’t fail to deliver, again! The staff were warm and welcoming and very attentive throughout the evening, without being intrusive. Delicious food, in particular the Steak Tartare, absolutely outstanding! For a lovely meal after work or an afternoon shopping, look no further.

Excellent service, and very good value for money using the set menu. Staff ensured we had a table which was in a cool area on hot day.

Food and service were generally good although I was surprised the wine waiter just poured the wine we had ordered without checking if one of us wanted to taste it first. I thought that was standard practice when you've ordered a bottle of wine. It took quite a long time to get bill and pay but we were near a theatre and suppose a lot of us were all trying to leave at the same time.

Lovely staff and good quality food. I would have like a slightly larger fish pie but that was the only criticism of the entire meal.

We arrived early, were given a choice of tables and allowed to take our time before ordering. The main course was very good as was the service. My only comment is that the puddings on the set menu could be improved, it is a shame the apple crumble was removed from this menu.

It is a Sunday in fitzrovia, it is quiet, my favourite Cote has a vacancy for three but unfortunately the service and the food also feels it is not functioning.... I am fond Cote.

Always a lovely meal, great staff and atmosphere at Cote. Spritzers were lovely as was our roast duck and tarte au citron. Will be back.

Extremely pleased with my latest visit to Cote in Charlotte Street. Staff were attentive, friendly and eager to please. Choice of food, as always, was very good... will be back again soon.

Good food but if you get put in the back of the restaurant the acoustics are a nightmare if there's another table with loud voices or small children. Waiting staff are pleasant. Not sure about the bill - it comes with 12.5% discretionary service added and then there's a line called 'tips ????'. I think 12/5% is plenty though I worry that the staff don't get it. Food is always good at Côte and reasonably priced.

Great venue. Friendly staff especially the waitress who had just returned from travelling to Portugal. So warm and naturally welcoming. The food was fresh and with so much flavour. From having the nice garlic bread which reminded me of a giant pretzel :) to the coffee. For the price and the quality of food you receive it’s a match made in heaven!

Amazing, really enjoyed it. The food and service were fantastic as always! It's also in a great location, I love the Charlotte street vibe, loads of good places around there.

Delicious Breton tomato salad. Decent steak. Crane caramel always a treat. Staff friendly. Unusually quiet summer night - very pleasant in a busy west end!

Great, good food, friendly staff and nice relaxed atmosphere. Food wasn’t rushed but weren’t left waiting either. Good value for money too. Would definitely go back!

This Cote is a great location to the theater district. Food was superb and the staff was fantastic. One of my favourite Cote’s

The food was very good - but we were a table of 6 and asked for all the food to be brought out at the same time - this didn't happen and one dish was served to one person and then 50 mins later everyone else got their dish. Also they missed two items off our bill but charged us for them as well as charging us extra on one other item - however they did correct this when we got the bill. The restaurant was not busy so its a pity that the service wasn't up to scratch - food was good though.

Very attentive, efficient and friendly service as my son was late arriving and I was in a hurry to catch a train. As always, the food was excellent.

A nice restaurant for an early evening meal. The menu catered for all tastes. For starters the ham and melon was particularly refreshing. Our main course was escalope of Veal another good choice.

A lovely evening - a warm welcome, charming helpful staff, delicious free aperitif and meal. All thoroughly enjoyable - exactly what I expect from Cote.

Good service, excellent food and reasonable prices. Lunch and early supper menus are available and are very good value. Alcohol - wine by the glass and bottle of house wine are prices you can afford. Cannot fault this particular restaurant in Charlotte Street, London.

Sat outside on a lovely warm day. Great menu stafff and service. They couldn't have done more. One of the party was gluten free and they had a separate menu. It was not overly expensive. Service ws added to the bill which was well deserved. I will return.

The food was good but we had been offered free drinks on a deal and had also made a special request as it was my birthday and when we arrived neither of these were actually known about by the staff and this made the whole experience awkward.If they are going to offer a deal then the the staff should be told.

Food excellent. Staff very welcoming. Lost points for delivering main course with delay for one person. Other two nearly finished when mine came out. Stressful!’ Maybe waitress misunderstood instructions??? Also warned we had to leave at 8 and there was delay in settling bill which made us feel more stress!!! Also I really object to service charge so didnt pay. I want to choose what I give directly to the staff who serve me not into the owners till.

Great food, cooked perfectly and presented well. Efficient and friendly serving staff. Good location for Tottenham Court Road theater. We will definitely eat there again.

Excellent service from a dedicated? professional & motivated team. They were attentive but not overpowering. Food was also great, particularly the French Onion Soup. Will definitely return.

Delicious food accompanied with lovely wine, all at very reasonable prices and fantastic service. Our waitress Christina and the Manager, Kasia couldn't do enough for us and really made our evening special. Both went the extra mile and were genuinely lovely. We will definitely be returning!

Friendly, accommodating,classic French food including beef bourgignon. Service was good and not too expensive. I booked on the spur of the moment while sitting in the pub with two friends and was not disappointed .

The staff were considerate the food good and economical, as was the wine. I would be happy to recommend it especially to people who have visited the B M.

My wife is coeliac, so the gluten free menu is so good. It provides a really good choice, and tastes fantastic. The staff are friendly, and the service was quick but not rushed. Overall a really good experience.

Very tasty food ,seasonal and freshly prepared. The creme caramel is the best in the world and was very much appreciated by all three of us! The service was very professional and at the same time friendly and helpful.

I can be sniffy about “chain” restaurants but this branch of Cote gets it all so right. Beautiful decor, incredibly good value and delicious food and wonderful wine list.

Overall disappointed in the experience from Cote, the main bug bear being the lack of provision of well-versed service. Had to prompt the staff to help at every step of the meal to move us through the courses. A combination of being potentially understaffed, under-trained, or maybe unmotivated staff. The food standard was good so thumbs up on that side. In the end the supervisor did apologise with some free drinks which was a nice gesture

Very pleasant and helpful staff on a sunny afternoon when the world outside the door, a la Parisian pavement cafe culture, was chilled and relaxed. And, once again, the food was excellent, very much in keeping with with the many other Cote venues in the south east my wife and I have now been privileged to visit.

Excellent food and service! Booked for 2 and a very nice waiter as well, not too intrusive but friendly as well. The three course was really filling and the pork belly was great!

As always very good service . Menu suits all tastes and prices are very reasonable for Central London

We had a group dinner with university colleagues and staff made us feel so welcome from the start. Complimentary Kier Royals to start with a lovley secluded table in a section of the restaurant and superb food as always. The two waitresses one from Kosovo and one from Quebec were super efficient and extremely nice. A wonderful evening was had by all. Thank you

We had a good meal here having met friends, but the restaurant was hot and stuffy in the rear area where we were first seated and the service was slow! Not my best Côte experience. They are a chain that don’t feel so like a chain and so I sometimes choose them for good value get together with friends.

Food was good, but it was a bit crowded so service was a bit slow. When asking for the bill, it took 15 minutes and nothing happened, had to walk to the till to pay.
