Very good service. We took advantage of the wine offer to celebrate our anniversary. The food is great and Sunday evening is quiet meaning you can enjoy a fast service. The food was very good with the Fillet being an excellent choice.

Lovely food, well priced. Nice and friendly staff, prompt and efficient service. Nice vibrant feel to the place. In the heart of Canterbury. Highly recommended.

Great food at reasonable price for city centre. The staff are very efficient and it is always busy. The steak and frittes were absolutely lovely.

Another amazing meal. Went this time for my birthday treat, not disappointed. Staff are all well focused on ensuring your evening is enjoyable by being attentive without being over intrusive. Fantastic food, well prepared and presented. My steak meal was brilliant.

We all had the half Breton chicken. The food was good and it was a very pleasant experience. I would recommend it for a meal.

It was graduation day in Canterbury on Wednesday 12 July so it was extra busy but Cote restaurant managed the lunch time rush very well.

We enjoyed our meal, the food was excellent and although the restaurant was not busy the service was slow, when we ordered and slow to clear the table.

Good food and service. Have been before and would go again. Plenty of choice and very tasty. Quite a lot of tables, but still felt cosy.

Fantastic service and delicious food as always. 😊 Recommend this restaurant for an excellent choice of food and wine. Also superb staff! The only thing that's lacking is the choice of soft drinks, I would like some options like sparkling elderflower or other lower sugar and lightly sparkling.

Not as good as usual fillet overlooked they replaced but by the time I got a fresh meal my husband had finished his. In all fairness they did not charge for meal.

We had an excellent meal. Good quality, excellent choice of menu, good portion size, sensible prices. Waiting staff were polite, attentive and friendly. A good experience all round.

Everything was good except the plates and bottles were very noisy as they were cleaned & thrown about, right next to our table. They must change this!

Our only, so far, disappointing visits to Cote. Unusually for Cote, the service was slow, in getting seated, taking orders and delivery of food. Quality of food still excellent and good value. Staff did their best but probably not enough of them.

Excellent menu and service as I have come to expect from this restaurant. Always an enjoyable experience and present location in the city centre. Definitely visit again.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome & sat down to a delicious meal. Lovely friendly attentive staff . Will be back. Also very easy to book a table online unlike other restaurants!

We had a delicious meal, although slightly disappointed that the gratin potatoes had run out. Staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. We had an enjoyable evening.

Sat outside which was lovely. 4 mature ladies having brilliant fun, marvellous service by the waiters and delicious food. Wine was so nice we had an extra bottle and free cool water very welcome. Menu well suited to pre theatre as choices so flexible. Only minus was young waitress asking what "we" were having all the time, slightly condescending, but apart from that very small thing, excellent.

Most enjoyable lunch with good service from friendly staff. The food was all good and the house rose excellent summer wine. We eat regularly at Cote and have never been disappointed.

I have eaten here many times and its always been a good experience with excellent cheerful staff and very good, well prepared meals. Canterbury is especially good if you are on a Theatre deadline as the service is really prompt, make sure you mention it to your waiter though. Set price menu really great value.

The good thing about any Cote restaurant is that you know roughly what you're getting and the quality of it. This one was no exception. It's easy to find on the high street and spacious with an outside area. The restaurant was however deserted. To be fair other places were too. The food was very good and portions very fair. The fishcakes were subtly flavoured with the dill sauce being the highlight. The sauce for the spinach and mushroom crepes was delicious as were the crepes. A tomato & shallots salad was substantial and flavoursome. It had not been refrigerated which was a huge plus. Cheese however was not served at room temperature. It was however very tasty. The staff were attentive and friendly.

We had a very good meal a cote brasserir the veal was very good, the half chicken was its normal very good standard and overall we had very good service and a good experience.

We enjoyed the meal very much. One thing that might be improved is serving soup with bread - I have never been to a French restaurant or any other, for that matter, where bread is not provided routinely with soup.

food was excellent, and a very good choice, both starters and mains...only 2 of us managed a dessert !..but staff also great and very friendly..and good value for money.. thank you cote...

Celebrated my birthday with lunch at Côte. Delicious food from the very reasonably priced set lunch menu and my friend and I both really enjoyed our lunch. Pleasant, attentive service, lovely relaxed atmosphere and lovely, lovely food. Top-notch!

We booked for early evening prior to a concert at Canterbury Cathedral. The food was of a high standard. The atmospheres was good. The waiter was excellent. Overall a good experience.

Nice food, good service.Rather disappointing peach crumble- fruit was diced (tinned?). Wine by the glass is best served from the bottle at the table so you can see what you're getting.

Staff are always very polite and welcoming and they do all they can to help you, can't say a negative word about this restaurant.. We will defiantly visit again thank you x

Food was good, we enjoyed the Moules Frites and particularly the Lamb Rump from the July Special menu. The service was excellent. We will be back.

Easy to book through easy to use website. The service was great, not rushed, very courteous, the food was delicious and the complimentary bottle of was was a godsend in the current weather.

Friendly staff. Server was aware of gluten free requirement that was noted when booking online. Separate and varied GF menu so no need to ask about suitability from "normal" menu. Overall good first experience.

Cotes has a wonderful breakfast menu with plenty of tasty choices and special offers. Thoroughly enjoyed our Father's day breakfast there. Will definitely go again.

As a regular 'lady that lunches ' we all enjoy our frequent visits - service is first class and food delicious and all at a great price what more could you want see you again soon !
