Very easy to book on line . Regular changes in menu . A good selection of dishes on offer , without feeling over whelmed by choices. Always a pleasant welcome and service is prompt and courteous. An ideal setting for a pre theatre supper.

We are regular visitors to Cote Brasserie - Canterbury as it offers exceptionally good value and excellent service. On this occasion, a small misunderstanding in the kitchen resulted in a longer than usual delay for our main courses to arrive, hence a 5 rating rather than a 6, but no hard feelings - we will return.

As usual, good value for money on the set menu deal, and good service throughout our visit. The only downside at Canterbury is the location of the toilets up two flights of stairs, although they do have a disabled toilet on the ground floor.

Hi. We eat in the restaurant regularly. The restaurant was very busy due to Fenwicks discount night. I had calamari which I regularly have and it appeared to either been cooked for a long time or it was overcooked. The mains arrived and the the waitress passed me the plate telling me that it was hot and it was very hot and had to put it on the table quickly. Didn't have deserts but asked for coffees. I was the only one to have a Latte when it arrived it was Luke warm so I asked one of the male waiters and he said he would make me another which didn't come. Ten minutes later I asked the waitress she came back with another one and had the cheek to say they wouldn't charge me for it. When I questioned her over that she said that's what she had been told to say. Not up to your normal excellent service but let's hope it's better next time.

Always a warm welcome, good food and great atmosphere. Prompt but unobtrusive service and great menu, tough to choose but we went for the main menu (rather than set lunch) - excellent Tuna Nicoise salad.

Good service. Adequate set menu; two of the table had the Pork Confit which seemed incomplete - required a carbohydrate to give a full balance. The other two in the party chose from the A La Carte Menu.

Côte Brasserie never disappoints. The staff are well trained, courteous and attentive and the food is reliably good. Their early bird menu is good value for money too and as a result it is always full. We regularly use it as a before theatre option.

As usual very good service. The food was of the usual high standard with some nice additions to winter menu, the Cassoulet was particularly tasty.

Waitress pleasant & Food good, took exception to the bottle of wine that should have been free through a promotion added to the bill along with a £12 gratuity. Due to the gratuity being taken for granted and added to the bill, the tip we would have left for the waitress didn't happen. I question whether the tips go to the staff of the company ?

Thursday evening, booked for 1745 but we were in a hurry to get to an event. Ordered a drink and main courses from the a la carte menu. Service was excellent, staff were understanding and helpful. We enjoyed our food.

Attentive but comfortably leisurely service that allows you to enjoy your meal at your own pace. Food, as always, is very good with a nicely balanced selection of wines to accompany. Would certainly recommend.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable seating. The steak tartare was chewy. I quietly mentioned it to the waiter and when we received the bill found it had been discounted. I regard that as an extremely professional way to run a business. It wasn’t asked for but was very much appreciated. On the other hand, my Breton fish stew was quite delicious, crammed with seafood. The calamari are always a perfect starter and can’t be beaten anywhere. All in all we love Côte for very good food, delightful atmosphere and tremendous value for the money. We have travelled to many of your restaurants across the country and never been disappointed at any. .

Our visit, as always was enjoyable. The staff and atmosphere was very pleasant. Our only disappointment was the rib eye steak. We have visited Cote three times in the last month, each time choosing rib eye steak. The first time was probably the best we have ever had but this last time was tough and gristly and I left quite a bit of mine. Next time I will choose something different.

Service was prompt, efficient and friendly, and the food very good value. I can recommend the goats cheese with ratatouille, and the mushroom risotto (though the latter could have had more obviously wild fungi in it). It would be good to see a wider choice of dishes for vegetarians.

The professional manner with which we were welcomed at the door boded well for a good evening. We were most certainly not disappointed! The boeuf bourgignon I ordered was excellent: the sauce was full-flavoured and the meat of first- class quality. My wife’s fish parmentier was also of the best quality: creamy sauce and piping hot. Our desserts were not overwhelming and they complimented a fine meal before we went on to the theatre.

Unfortunatly both my wife and I have suffered upset stomachs following our last three visits to Cote, we eat out frequently and love the Cote experience BUT will not visit again, What is in the Cote food that causes this upset? If any one else has had this problem I would love to hear

Excellent food and service. Nicely fitted out restaurant. Great location. First time I have been to Côtes brassiere and was pleasantly surprised, different to the other popular chains.
