Côte Canterbury

Great ambience, lovely staff, food was perfect. We always love coming here! Hubby spilt his drink everywhere and they immediately replaced the drink and the food he spoilt.

This is the second time I have been to Côte brasserie at Canterbury for lunch and both times I have been really impressed both with the food and the quality of service. I will be back!

Food was nice but service not so much. My mum can only eat small amounts so requested a kids croque monsieur. However after we waited quite a while, she was eventually brought a full sized portion. The only reason it was not sent back was the additional time she would have had to have waited. Plus, the mayo I requested never materialised.

An excellent experience, as always, with great food, friendly staff and a complimentary Kir Royale to kick off with. Highly recommended!

Lovely lunch . We chose from the set lunch menu. Although the Brasserie was very busy service was excellent. Our waitress Ilona was lovely. Very friendly always had a smile. Very good value as usual.

Top quality food and service, we can't wait to go back we chose the prestige set menu well worth the extra £3.00 as a lot of the extra sides are included

We had an excellent birthday celebration at cote . The staff were so friendly and helpful or made our night . We were also treated to a birthday profiteer rolls fabulous

The food was great and the service too but why oh why when the restaurant was not nearly full we’re we squeezed in as a table of two between two tables of four at such close proximity? I mean SO CLOSE. If it happens again we won’t be returning purely on that basis. Fingers crossed for next time...

Once, again all was excellent as we have come to expect. Cannot recommend a more convenient restaurant for a relatively quick luncheon. Would not suit those wanting a drawn out lunch.

Once again, excellent reasonably priced meal with good attentive service. Cleanliness of restaurant and toilets impressive. Speed of service whilst busy is extremely fast, but overly so.

The only thing which would have made it a six is if you could specify whereabouts in the restaurant you wanted to sit. I'm a bit deaf so I don't like being near the coffee machines. Lovely food and service as always

Great food and service on Mothers Day, staff were very helpful opening the door as I had my mother in a wheelchair. Well done Cote.

The food was very nice, however there was much waiting around and we had to prompt the staff to get dessert menus, for the bill, etc., which would be fine if we hadn't had to get back to the office. Also, in Canterbury the tables are too close together to properly enjoy a meal.

Staff top marks. Food not as good as in the past. Sorry to say but may give it a miss for a while. Which is a bit sad because had some great times.

The food was excellent, waiter looked after us, great atmosphere and they gave my wife a free glass of bubbly as it was her birthday

Perfect Saturday brunch - excellent service, excellent food (eggs royale cooked to perfection)...and excellent company, too. Highly recommended.

Fantastic location in the centre of Canterbury , very comfortable surroundings. Very fast service and good varied choice of food. Thoroughly recommend ,look forward to return visit.

Excellent food, great atmosphere, great choices can’t fault the food or service although we didn’t like the service charge on the bottom of the bill as some people would just pay the total amount without reading the bill properly we leave tips allway for good service but at our own discretion.

Mothering Sunday and we ordered the champagne brunch, which was above expectations. Staff are always extremely helpful and courteous. We really enjoyed the experience. O

Great food, attentive service, relaxing atmosphere. Recommend the fish dishes, but really a good varied menu. Lighter meals available and weekend specials. Lunch menu. Good choice for pre-theatre too.

Popped in for lunch which, as always, was very enjoyable, great value and with excellent, friendly service. I had perfect steak frites, and my friend chose the burger from the weekend special menu - it was lovely. This restaurant never fails to delight.

Food good service good ambience good . Our first visit but will return . Set menu good value . But - we did not appreciate the 12.5% service charge added automatically to our bill . And We had to ask several times and waited a very long time to actually pay the bill . But - overall we had a wry enjoyable evening .

Always a great reception on entering into the restaurant. our table was ready, even tho 10 minutes early...staff very attentive, and quick to take our drinks order whilst looking at the menu, again a very good choice between set menu as well as 'al a carte'.. food excellent again, timing always good between courses too... our favourite restaurant in town

Another lovely lunch! A great menu we especially enjoy the set menu as it is good value. The food is always cooked well and together with friendly staff its win win!

An excellent and varied lunch menu, which was good value for money. High quality food and portion sizes were more not small. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The restaurant downstairs appeared to be almost full, which gave a welcoming atmosphere.

We had an excellent meal at cotes Canterbury, the staff were very helpful as usual. As loyal customers we received two free glasses of Kir-royal

I visited Cote today with my parents for a birthday lunch. The staff were excellent, friendly and professional. Food was absolutely delicious 10/10. Well done.

The breakfast at the Canterbury branch was of the usual high standard. The staff were atentive as ever, providing a friendly efficient service. A perfect start to the day.

Great service - friendly, attentive but never overwhelming or intrusive. Great food. Plenty of choice, will adapt dishes to your requirements - delicious. Lovely place.

The service and food was excellent and Cote put themselves out to make sure you have an enjoyable experience when visiting their restaurant. I have eaten in several of their establishment and would highly recommend " Cote" to anyone.

Excellent service and food! Ambience of restaurant is good, lovely background music. Waiters were very attentive and we weren’t rushed. The lunchtime set menu was very good value for money.

We had the minute steak and frites it was delicious and service was very good as well would definitely recommend and would definitely go again

Excellent, attentive, service. Amazing meal. Celebrating my partner's 60th birthday, the team accommodated my wishes with regard to position of our table in the restaurant and kindly gave us celebratory Kir Royals in recognition of the occasion. A wonderful, memorable evening.

Lovely tasty meals , beautifully presented. Very polite, helpful waiters. A warm relaxing place to enjoy a meal with friends. Menus cater for many different requirements, such as vegetarian, gluten free and several meat and fish dishes. A very good restaurant.

Food is nice but I prefer restaurants who don't charge for every single extra, like having vegetables with a fish pie so therefore I think the pricing is slighly higher than it needs to be.

It was as good as we always get from our local one in Chichester, as we were treated as though we were regular customers in Canterbury.

Excellent food but had half hour wait for food , waiter refunded our drinks which was good . Would visit again as atmosphere good. Nic restaurant

Very nice meal did have a bit of a wait for food but was with friends that hadn’t meet since before Christmas so wasn’t a problem

Food and service good, however the toilets are two floors up and a bit of a hike. Suggest using the disabled toilet on the ground floor if you are unable to negotiate the stairs.

The service was good, our waitress was very attentive. We opted for the set lunch which was tasty. The garlic fougasse was especially good and the steak and frites was as delicious as I remembered it. There was a good selection of wine also.

Consistently good food, fast service and nice atmosphere. The tables were a little too closely packed together, which was difficult for access, hence 5 out of 6.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, good choice & quality of food, had a meal before heading to the theatre & made a great start to our evening, will be visiting again very soon.

Service excellent. I had grilled chicken which was tasty but could have done with more sauce which is the reason I have not given 6 points. The result was rather dry chicken.

We went to Cote Canterbury , the food was great , the service was great too . We went there instead of Valentines Day and we were not disappointed . We really do recommend .
